You've been a major inspiration to me for so long, and a positive impact on my mental health when it comes to art. Because of you I've been more motivated to stay consistent and post my art, but more importantly; you helped me remember that it's OK to make mistakes, make ugly art and that not everything I create has to be "perfect". You can't grow if you don't allow yourself to fail! I'm glad that you make videos that are easily relatable, it feels more human, more natural. I've been a huge fan of yours for a few years now, and seeing you grow n blossom, posting new content to your YT channel...makes me so happy. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us. BTW I bought my first planner, thanks to your previous videos. I want to hold myself more accountable and stay on track w my art. I'm really nervous about my ideas, but listening to you talk helps me feel better. Thank you so much, Michelle;;;;
Omg this was so sweet, thank you so much it makes me so happy to know that these things I do actually leave a positive impact on others :') I'm happy to hear you are taking actionable goals to your dreams!
you probably dont give a shit but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
This was so helpful to watch! >:"D I've had some of my own story ideas being planned out in my head for a year and I really didn't know where to start. So thank you 😤✨💜
Nice video! It really inspired me. For a long time I was forcing myself to draw semirealistic gaming art and I was just so unhapy. I was against my nature. But I finally gave in myself to cartoons and animation. Still, sometimes I feel like simple drawings like that are not as effective. I take way less time to make them and I feel like it's not worth to post it as an instagram post. But comics could acutaly be a game-changer. I just need to work on my storytelling xD
So informative!! Thank you so much for making these kinds of videos! It's so cool to see your process and especially what you said about line art!! Line art always freaks me out and can be pretty time consuming and I love how you solve that!
Damn this video is underrated! I always looked up to your work and already started to do my own comics after a total burn out in the animation school. Was happy to see in search on how to publish comics on Instagram -- you! Thank you so much for sharing and definitely going to purchase the etsy guide also.
Thanks. You put in words that it’s okay to do things my way. All the extra stuff that people teach is okay if you are an A to B to C to D person-but I’m an A to D person, as I think you are. We want to work the way we think..we’re already there before some others get to the on ramp. This was an honest , helpful tutorial.
“I like the *idea* of having colour.” That’s such a mood haha. But for me the least favourite part of comics is inking and I love thumbnailing. I like working fast and inking is just so focused and patience based, haha. On the iPad, do you have a file for each panel? My comics are a little too large for the iPad to handle so I have to cut them up to work on them. Cool to see your process ! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this.. I really hate the lineart process because it ruin the emotion and it takes soooo much time and then it makes me exhausted meanwhile my comic isn't finish yet. I really glad that you said it's okay that art isn't always have to be pretty line art or pretty color. This video is really made my day! Thank you!
Oh thank the stars this exists. I've been planning and making a comic for 2 months at this point and this video was super informative and helpful!!! Thank you, Gal
This vid is so dope. Awesome seeing other peoples workflow. I definitely feel u when on the sketching before outlining part. It does take a lot more time when doing that instead of freely just outlining and fixing as you go. Making Webcomics is super therapeutic, cus so many people can relate to them.
And Thank you Michelle, for making such great comic strips, Succubishez has to be one of my favorite comic series of all time! Emotional, engaging, sweet, beautiful, sometimes relatable, and i'm very proud that buying the physical copy of your first hundred or so knowing that it has helped financially support you, I hope you Stay Ho'some!
3:25 Mew started hittin us with bars. "if you want to... continously constantly make comics on a more consistent and conceptually charasmatic cadence in the space time continuum..."
Dear MewTripled! Dumb question but what dimensions do you use to make your comics fit nicely in instagram posts? sometimes your comics are square, and sometimes they kinda look more rectangular, so I'm just trying to figure this out XD
First off, I just want to say I love your videos, ever since Where No One Goes! You have been such a huge inspiration for me getting back into art and not giving up on it. I feel as if I am finally ready to go back to posting art again! I wanted to know if you think it makes a big difference to have the iPad pro vs something like a Samsung tablet for making art? I know that the iPad pro has procreated. But both are still screen drawing tablets. Or do you think the product/app used doesn't really matter or make a difference?
A truly passionate Lady. I enjoyed your methodology and advice even though I don’t know your cartoons yet. (i will endeavour to seek them out). I still can’t find out what sizes people draw at though. Ps. The devil horns really suit you. 😉
My 2017 12.9 inch ipad got the black screen of death and i havent been able to get it to work again since.. is yours having any issues as of yet or did you have maintenance done on it?
Also thank you for the tutorial, it was very helpful. Especially the part about not spending so much time about the details in lineart and spilling your ideas onto the page.
i love every video you upload, also you inspires to me to continue drawing (idk why sometimes the depression consume me)(how sad lol) but i rlly admire u bitchzzz ✨🖤
I love your videos so much they help a lot. Do you have any tips on how to promote your art/comic? I plan on posting one soon but I’m a small artist and I know no ones gonna see it soooooooo Also would it be ok to post a comic with panels on Instagram? I wanna post them on there but I’m worried it would kill the quality on it
Hey Meesh, just wanted to let you know you inspired me to create my very first comic called "Lighter" that I posted on Instagram. I don't have access to digital art so I stuck to traditional (which I love). I simply drew it on the pages of my bullet journal and I'm proud of myself for it. Thank you for sharing your work ❤️ P.S. I'm @surviving.through.art on Instagram if you want to check out the comic I made :)
I thought u will tell me how the way to post the stories of the comic n i thought it would be beneficial to make comic on Instagram but u were just talking about urs how u did or how u draw n how u sketched , U have saidJust a story of ur thoughts but not explaining us how to post n how to draw , n how to make perfect , how to edit , btw u are not telling us how u create the comics just u r explaining about ur thoughts ,
Ypu getting likes and all is just a matter of luck though. Whats the point of wasting hours of your life if nobody cares for it, I can just imagine the story in my mind, drawing it is unececery and extremely hard.

The fact that you've got over 160k YT subscribers and almost 400k IG followers and this is *STILL* a side-hustle's mind-blowing to me!

😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
I THOUGHTB I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD THE LINEART PROBLEM I CANNOT DO SKETCHES AS WELL
I stopped doing lineart for like two years 💀💀💀 so if i try rn, it'll be so bad.

Good information! I'd like to try my hand at a web comic again. Not sure if I have enough story ideas though...
