      @@TheElectricOracleChannel ET9, Firefly and the fact they actually deliver what they say. Elon flat out lied and said Tesla would be producing a sub $25K car and then pivoted to say "who needs to buy a car when you can just call one of our robo-taxis". Not cool, many people still want to own an actual car. Also here in the USA and Western Europe we have the view that all roads are developed like ours. Ever been to Mombassa or Antananarivo? Those are jus a few of the place of I've traveled to first hand and I can tell you that there will be no autonomous driving there and many other countries anytime soon. The amount of "interventions" it takes with FSD compared to a car with LIDAR redundancy is staggering. It's not safe without LIDAR at this point. And Elon is on the verge of being 10 years into this past his first FSD delivery claim.
      We owe all this EV revolution to Elon, so I'm not taking anything away from that. Even the Chinese for the most people still respect Elon, Tesla and the USA (as crazy as it sounds). But the negativity on China is just Insane at this point. Yet the Chinese keep rising above despite the western worlds negative sentiment.

    If this technology is from China, it is possible. China HSR travelling at 360 kph is extremely stable with smooth ride from one destination to another. Placing a coin upright against the window, the coin is stable and does not roll alongside the window. Is this possible in the Chinese Nio ET9's. Yes, it is possible with China Technology Beyond the Future, making it impossible to possible.

      Great point, Nic! China’s advancements, like the high-speed rail’s incredible stability, are a testament to their engineering prowess. If that same precision is applied to the NIO ET9, it’s not hard to imagine it achieving a similarly smooth and stable ride.

    There has to be a downside regarding traction when wheels attempt to step over surface irregularities. There's absolutely less weight on the individual wheel, and the system will get overwhelmed on a real road with far more bumps. Also, wonder if it disengages on turns where traction is crucial?

    • @TheElectricOracleChannel
      @TheElectricOracleChannel  15 днів тому

      Hey, great points. While the Nio ET9’s SkyRide system boasts impressive capabilities, like real-time adjustments within milliseconds and advanced stability controls, your concerns about traction during cornering or over irregular surfaces are valid. The system’s ability to handle such scenarios will depend on how well it maintains weight distribution and responds to rapid changes.
