I have been a master plumber for almost 30 years and if you offered me $5000 to unplug a toilet with my bare hands, I would not do it. Thanks for a great channel. Subscriber since day 1.
and ive done it for free lol. but it was own mess and no plunger to be had. but the reason i'm not a plumber is because i can't deal with other peoples nastyness lol. i could new construction only but never persued it.
Robert that's a good thing they found the wheel seal instead of the scale house, with the prices of everything gone up that seems pretty fair for everything they done. Stay Safe guys I hate GPS and technology period, the government wants control of all us.
I always look forward to seeing you guys videos. You work together well and define what an equal relationship of 50/50 actually means. Keep up the great work
Great start to my 48+ hour reset in southern KY. And it's gonna be a lot warmer than the past few days in Indiana. I just paid $363.25 at MHC Kenworth for 13 Gallons of full Synthetic oil (Majestic), 2 fuel filters and oil filter. I change mine myself - because I'm cheap! Holly was watching your girls again. Stay safe out there!
Engine oil and coolant change interval and engine parts are based on hours, not miles. Transmission and rears by mileage. Extended oil changes reduce engine life. Some folks use oil sample testing, bad thing about that is that anything serious and damage is already done. Fleets do extended changes because they get rid of trucks before failure based on their experience. Easiest way to check for fuel dilution in engine oil is to shake oil off dipstick into a container of water...you will see the fuel sheen. On that Cummins if you lose coolant and no visible leak...EGR cooler is leaking internally and needs replaced. Just imagine it used to be around $100 total for a oil change at Petro or TA, in the 80s-90s.
20k on T5 is ok you can extend it to 25k on T5 and 30k-35k on T6 is what I keep getting told, I change mine T6 every 25-30k still plenty of lubricity in the oil.
Water-proof grill cover or sleeping bag cover with draw-string works great. I tried using trash bags but they just keep in moisture makes it smell like mildew
With those dual Amsoil Bypass filters ( if your running the Eabp 110 filters good for 80000 mi/ 1200 hrs) you'll be just fine to 20K for an oil change interval (oil and filter.)
11 gallons is 44 quarts. Last I looked. 4 quarts to gallon. I let a shop do repair rather then do it in teens temp. $150 for 2 hrs max worth. *including me driving to get parts* but it’s cold.
When you do your pre trip, do you ever put your coverhauls on and slide uner your tractor and trailer to inspect the wheel seals and brake cans, etc. I see that if that guy changing your oil didnt catch that seal leaking, it could have cost you a weeks revenue if they caught you at the scales somewhere and road service had to come out, especially running disc brakes. Was the unloader valve bad on your dryer or air governor?
That kid in Kindergarten cop said it best. Anyway if you have a leaking wheel seal always double check your vent is cleared. More often than not seals are not bad it's just a plugged vent. Causes pressure when it heats up. Pressure finds the weakest link
I'm curious about the Mac as well and I mention that in my comment on here also. It would be really interesting to see what ended up fixing the mac. I was wondering if he did something in a past video or mentioned it and maybe we missed it but I think he should just do a separate video on it. My guess is that they bought the new truck and just don't want to mess around with the Mac for the time being until they can get some work under the new truck and then get back to the Mac when they have a little more spare time. Or, maybe he just wanted to sell it the way that it is and not have to worry about it anymore. But, with all the work that he has done to it, it would be interesting to see what finally fixed the last issue and how much longer it will run without having to do much more work to it. As a tech that works on vehicles at a couple Ford dealerships including the heavy line for pickups and so on and worked at an independent place and I now have my own shop where I work on vehicles here and there, things like that are interesting to me.
Hi folks. $1100 sounds like a lot for an oil change, but when you break it down, it doesn't seem so bad. I would definitely find out how many miles that oil is good for and if it matters if swapping types is ok. It would be a shame to drop 5,000 miles for nothing on the oil change. Have good days!
public restrooms are gross enough. bare handed that is just deadly. have a friend that worked in maintenance at Rochester, Mn. airport he put on goggles face mask, rubber gloves up to his shoulders, and vics vapor rub under his nose when he had to do those jobs.
$700 oil change? You need to look into OPS bypass oil filtration system, you do oil samples every 25k miles until you truly need to change your oil, plenty of o/o doing this with 100s of thousands mile on same oil ,cost around $1000 for OPS so costs are less than 2x oil changes
Oil change every 20,xxx miles not bad at all my company I work for does it every 50xxx miles cause that what the book say the said according to warranty I have same truck ass u so every 20 it's sound alot better even though they say it 50 keep on trucking
What up Lita n Robert Why don't you stick them tarps in your toolbox , Get you another small box for your straps , I flatt bedd before I went to dry box for almost 20 years my tarps never did get wet in the box , Lita is a hot MAMACITA ❤❤❤ not woman 😂😂 a hard bristle push broom works pretty good , Oil change put the seal in I think you got out of there pretty cheap my friend , T 5 is good do not worry about it , I always change mine 12000 miles , 20,000 too many miles even if you got the synthetic , I would go 15,000 tops with the synthetic , 44 quarts that is 11 gallons , they do quarts because that is how they add it up , you two be safe out there take care yourselves

You have a good woman!
Lita lends a hand like no woman I have ever seen. She is an asset no doubt.
Robert that's a good thing they found the wheel seal instead of the scale house, with the prices of everything gone up that seems pretty fair for everything they done. Stay Safe guys I hate GPS and technology period, the government wants control of all us.
A leaf blower would probably work great for blowing/cleaning off the tarps.
You 4 are great. Beautiful pup's, awesome team. Favorite channel.
As usual great intro and content
Robert and Lita Stay Blessed and safe.
Love watching Macky it snow

Hello from new Hampshire glad to see new videos thank you

Need you a push broom dude.
Keep a broom or a squeegee on truck it helps with tarps in winter ❄️
You need a battery powered leaf blower. It will blow off the snow, ice and water. Recharge while driving.
Great video.
20k on T5 is ok you can extend it to 25k on T5 and 30k-35k on T6 is what I keep getting told, I change mine T6 every 25-30k still plenty of lubricity in the oil.
The T/A's with a spiral stair case that goes up stairs is a old 76 truck stop old timer learned me the other day
Love your bathroom story’s
Freaking hilarious on Gyro. I posted that comment on the pronunciation. Well done Robert on the punchback! LOL!
Maybe have an air hose you hook into your air lines with a blow gun to clean snow and water off your tarps ???
I was eating my dinner! Thanks.
Enjoy the content Robert, thx

Rockford IL you headed our way were 47 miles SW of Rockford .
Water-proof grill cover or sleeping bag cover with draw-string works great. I tried using trash bags but they just keep in moisture makes it smell like mildew

Couldn’t you have done the oil change in PC mode and gotten a 34hr reset? Keep up the great work, enjoy your videos and humor 😂😂
You should write a book about truckstop bathrooms
Oh ya, what would you call it?! Glory holes for dummies! Top 10 glory holes of the u.s.?
That's a shitty idea.
With those dual Amsoil Bypass filters ( if your running the Eabp 110 filters good for 80000 mi/ 1200 hrs) you'll be just fine to 20K for an oil change interval (oil and filter.)

Thinking about my trucking heros: the beautiful girl and the guy with the grungiest bathroom stories, Mr. Clean!

That's a man right there!!

My wife’s uncle has paid for a spot at the local truck stop cuz he couldn’t bring it home with frost laws for county winter roads.
Do you get an alert of the % left of oil until it is time to be changed? Like in a car/SUV?
Robert, can u give us an update on the Mack. Please stay. And take good care of Lita. One of the hardest working wives I have ever experienced.
