Congratulations Robert on getting a new truck. We wish you guys the best of luck. We love the videos and keep them coming!! I’m a driver myself keep your chin up. It’ll get better!!
Robert/Lita. I would suggest having a "Pittsburgh Power" tune that Cummins, you will be very happy with there tune. They skip gears when the load is light!!
I listen to them (Pittsburgh Power) on xm satellite road dog trucking when they ar eon taking calls .. they seem to know a lot and are very well trusted and recommended by lots of folks ..
@@Daddy19691969 I have used the fuel catalyst and has had very good results for my Cummins. I left an email and Bruce called me himself. Now I have a Mack w/mp8 and use it too.
A lot of guys don’t hesitate to go out and spend 60,000 on a new pickup truck just to look at it and wax it once a week. Your investment will make money. Sounds like the right choice to me. Also there are so many of these engine and tranny combinations on the road you will never be stumped by a problem and parts are everywhere.
Hey Robert, I usually don't comment on your videos. I have watched every one of them from your beginning. Today, I just had to wish you and Lita the very best on your new rig. Keep the videos coming. Blessings. 👍👍👍
your apu heater has the air port plugged at the glow plug, use a small piece of wire to clean the soot out, it has one alternator and a ac compressor, it charges your batterys, cools or heats the truck, engine hours not miles, when it hit around 30k hours you will need a rebuild, check the apu radiator often they like to leak at the seams,
The transmission will learn the load you have and adapt accordingly. If it can hold 1k rpm in the pull it will not shift. In the KW’s you should have three green lights on the tach that is the power ban. You get the most power with in those green lights
Hell yeah guys, I just want to say congrats on the new truck and I hope that this one does you guys well and keeps you rolling down the road!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Great to hear at last you have purchesed new truck to you. Yes i think the dogs may have an alergy to the grasses that are now shedding plus a lot of dust in the leaves as well. Looking forward to seeing the nnew Rig all set up ready to go. Maybe Lita will become your offsider on the long hauls when you at times can't do in one run. Reading about all the issue Cummins have if you know any one that keeps in front of the service scheduled's and still has trouble would be interetsting. Nothing like Clean Oil. Air and Fuel as well.
Badass Robert, that's a real nice truck you got your self. Love them T680 Can't wait to see you out doing some loads with it. Poor fatbutts hope he gets better. thanks for the video's. 👍
Congratulations, nice looking truck. You take a chance in what every truck you were to buy new or used, you take care of your stuff so I'm sure you will get many miles out of this truck before any major repairs come along. You and Lita deserve it you two are hard working and from your videos seem to be good people and you love animals so that says it all for me. So keep it between the lines and rolling, love your videos been watching since you were driving hotshots. Take Care & God Bless
I don't remember how far behind your videos are, so you may have already done it, but I wouldn't remove the exhaust stack. You aren't going to gain much with it as you need to keep the headache rack out away from the unit on the back of the cab for sufficient air flow for A/C. Just my 2 cents.
I’ve got t680 side window blinds made of the same material u use. U can have them. Tell me where to send. Can’t remember the maker but both in excellent shape
Best of luck! I left my stack in place when I added a headache rack. Trailers hit the rear of the mounting beams which I then cut back some. Sent you an email about my inverter...
Pittsburgh Power, Saxonburg, PA is THE top Cummins shop. Bruce Mallinson employs several electrical engineers and has very experienced engine troubleshooters and builders. It would be worth your time to get with them and have them check that engine. At 450,000 miles the previous owner probably didn't do much to it. There is predictive and preventative maintenance that is cheap insurance for long life.
Very nice truck! As for the inverter, in 15.5 years I’ve only ever head the non pure inverters and the only thing I’ve had issues with are coffee pots. Idk why lol. But I eventually gave up on the idea of a coffee pot in the truck. Other than that I’ve had zero issues with the inverter hurting electronics. Including 12 years using a CPAP which they claim is very sensitive to that kinda thing. Anyway good luck with the truck!
Company drivers just put their own mattresses in just like O/O do. It’s just more hassle when we change companies sometimes. Nice truck. Hopefully, you guys will have a run of good times now! Safe travels!!!
Congratulations Robert and Lita Robert you spend as much time as you can with grandma she's not gone always be here ya'll stay safe and getting ready to run ya ass off to make those truck payments
Good ole Leonard's Express ! I drove for a company right on the other side of the swamp Behind Leonard's. Harvested many deer and turkey behind there also
If you get a display saying stop or transmission damage will occur it will be the stalk stick on right side of the steering column and last I seen they were on backorder
Congratulations on the new truck, I have the same truck and love it. Mine has the 450 cummins with the 12 speed auto with 2.64 rears. It should tell you the gear ratio in side the driver door, it does on Mine.
Interest rates are going up on most borrowing. I hope and pray you guys don't have a lot of issues like the Mack. The new truck fits you all very nicely. Congratulations on your new money maker 👍
Awesome congratulations on your new truck may you never have the problems with this one that you did with the Mack check and see if you can get the transmission reprogrammed for different shift points. Good luck with her 🏁
He thought the finance company was going to do an inspection 🤦🏻♂️. Bought sight unseen, I imagine this is going to be a repeat of the Mack, issue after issue.
You talked about forgetting a payment and all you have to do is set the Auto Pay set on minium payments which will satisfy the CC Company. If you want to pay more, just send a onetime payment for the amount you want.
Congratulations Robert and Lita…….my 2020 T680 suspension gauge, at 60 psi is 34000. Yours may be a little different. Scale it full of fuel empty…and scale your first 5 or so loads to familiarize yourself with the gauge…………again, great video and congratulations 👍👍👍oh yeah…..go to HAGGAI and let them give then Cummins a thorough once over….
You should get a APC backup battery UPC to plug your computer into. It will clean up the voltage going to your computer plus help if you lose power. They have like 10 outlets on the back plus a few USB outlets on the front. I'm like you and have a lot of money tied up in my computer.
Alright, you two! The better fuel mileage will be a boost to your budget and hopefully you can find decent rates on majority of the loads. Looking forward to seeing how things work out. Stay safe. 🏍🇺🇸🎒
Congratulations ! I wish you and Lita and the doggies the very best of luck with your new truck ! Love your channel but the Mack breaking down was giving me anxiety ! 😂😂
The bunk heater has a filter it needs to be serviced to make it stop smoking.
It’s pretty easy to do yourself too, it’s a screen that gets gummed up with the shitty bio-diesel.
Dude…. HELL YEAH!!!
The Mack buzzer videos are OVER 🙌🏼
And the learning to how to shift.
@@markpeterson6836he knew how to shift
Best of Luck in the new truck. We are all cheering for a pain free many years.

You're right. If the engine has enuff ponys it should'nt need to downshift.
Wow 19 % interest.Why so high??
It’s the final nail in the coffin of his bankruptcy.
Congratulations on the new truck. Well deserved.

Awesome lookin truck an it didn't cost u an arm or a leg. Two thumbs straight up n down. 👍👍
When I drove truck Hornaday took good care of their fleet, that was 20 years ago, things change over time though.
The black box thing on back of sleeper should be the Bunk A/C. Nice truck by the way.
I think he's talking about the little black thing on the top of the sleeper which I think is the antena for sat radio
Looks like a sweet ride and one that has been looked after. Congrats on the new ride.
That little bumper on the front is what the tow truck driver's call a rabbit bumper it is good for nothing other than looks
Sharp truck, congratulations. Always thought Kenworths were cool. But Macks were my favorite as a kid lol
Congrats on the new truck upgrade, wish you guys all the best
