Liliac is a great young band. Videos going back maybe 5 years ago from the Santa Monica pier. A lot of covers to start but they have multiple albums of originals too. And their concerts are an experience. Since they are independent, they are very hands on. Their dad, Florin Cristea (or "Papa Liliac" as everyone calls him) is visible from start to finish, I got a chance to speak with both him and Abby (the drummer) at the merchandise table before the show. Papa was then setting up the instruments and microphones before their performance and then sat in the audience 2 rows in front of me monitoring the show. They raffle off an autographed guitar at their shows, and I was lucky enough to win it. I was fortunate then to have a picture with the band with my prize, and it is framed in a glass case as a prized possession. They are very approachable, friendly, wonderful young adults and kids, and make the experience incredible. High energy show - Melody even took a few runs through the aisles of the theater during songs - and they interact fantastically with the crowd. The concert is about 2 hours long. They play both originals and covers and mix it up. Definitely have a future and I can't wait until the next tour!
Liliac - yes "Lily-ac" - are a proudly independent band. They do not wish to be controlled by a label so work so hard to stay independent. Samuel (on lead guitar) does the backing vocals - and the video editing.
They started with covers years ago as young almost children, but now as young adults, wow, they have left the atmosphere with their originals, outstanding!
Their debut original album, Chain of Thorns, was released early 2019 & hit #1 on Amazon’s Best Seller for Rock Music Charts. Their album Queen of Hearts brought 13 new songs in 2020: reaching #29 on the iTunes Rock Charts followed by their Queen of Hearts tour. They have 108M+ Views on UA-cam and 485K Subs, nearly 1 million fans on Facebook, and quickly growing on other socials. 2019 kicked off their first North American tour consisting of 40 dates opening for classic rock icons such as Loverboy, Queensryche, Stryper, Slaughter, and even Kiss. Their 2022 “Moonlight Tour” consisted of 48 shows (44 headlining), and opened for Bret Michaels (Poison). They also have a new album coming out.
New subscriber. Yes we are Fangs. Oldest to youngest, Sam lead guitarist and backup vocals, Abby Drummer, Melodia lead singer also plays bass, Ethan bass and also guitar, Justin keys and piano. Anything you do by them awesome please do more. RORH Fang for life.
Man, I agree with you 100% with your opinions regarding both bands. They are both extremely talented young musicians/performers that are going in the same direction but by different paths. Both bands deserve all the accolades & recognition that they're getting - & then some, Liliac is still completely independent. Thanks for the review!!
i strongly agree on backing both bands, they are both destined for superstardom. liliac is finishing up a 50+ day show next week and on nov 6th they will be at the unity festival in india their 1st internstional show. they are totally independant and they write, produce, edit, and film everything inhouse. sam the guitar player does all the back up singing
I’m a Fang. From before they were Liliac. My kids loved watching their shows. When Abby played the accordion. I believe their debut song to the formation of Liliac was wild thing. A must see video. The sky has no limits for this band. This band works extremely hard. Nothing handed to them at all.
Liliac- Mars (Live in Cumming GA), Dear Father, Nothing, Sail Away, Chain of Thorns. Are some more great originals. Yes, backup vocal is done by Sam (Lead guitar), he also does the Rhythm sections, and he's oldest, he also does all of Liliac's video editing. Liliac- Holy Diver, Master of Puppets, The Trooper, The Last In Line. Are some great covers.
I have to listen to them every day just to make sure I'm still alive. This band kicks me up the ass every day. I love you boys and girls so so much. Please come to the UK and smash it up.... Love you all liliac. Shaun
Good reaction! I have to say I am a Liliac fang! They have a great work ethic. I am always happy to see a cover or an original by them. I grew up in the 70's and really love to hear a lead solo in a song. RO&RH!
Yes we are Fangs and they're an Independent band managed by Papa Liliac. Sam, the lead guitarist is the back up vocalist and you should check out their other original video of Mars from Cummings GA. Melodias voice is extraordinary and unique. Welcome to the rabbit hole
NOT AFRAID is the latest MV from LILIAC. And if you want to see how they've grown, check out their version of SEVEN NATION ARMY (by The White Stripes). That is another of their most recent MVs. If you get to listen to some of their older works from as recent as 2021, you'll see the difference. The best part is many people, both Fangs and professionals in the music industry who've heard them, believe that the best is yet to come. That makes seeing them live a worthwhile thing to do. I was fortunate enough to have seen many LILIAC shows this spring and summer, from Florida to Oregon and from California to New York. This video is a collage from those shows. Hope you get to see them on their 2023 Tour...or their last show in the US this year in Louisiana tomorrow.
To say Liliac Fangs and The Warning Army are passionate about their particular band is an understatement, personally, I am a fan of both! I've seen both live, and can't say enough about both, great bands in both cases!
This was on the Chain Of Thorns album. Their first lp. They have taken this song up several notches from the original recording. I am not sure if the world is ready for this Melody!
Totally independent and self promoted , building a studio in their basement and putting together their 3rd major album. This song is the 1st song in the current set and it goes up from there. You are spot on with everything you said about liliac and the warning.
Their cover of Seven Nation Army will blow you away. Liliac really shouldn’t be compared to any other band. They are that unique. I luv the Warning and I agree with you. Both groups need our support.
I agree. Yes Melody did diss the Warning a bit, but it was tongue in cheek. She later apologized for her comment. They are different and that is what makes sense hem both cool.
Family members: Florin Cristea is the band manager and is known as Papa Liliac, he and Mama share in the videography, and stage production. Papa handles lighting and sound as far as I know. Which makes sense since he was a single artist in the 80's(?)... Sam is the Guitarist and the eldest, Abigale (Abby) is next in age and the Drummer (bet you already figured that out), then our Front Woman, Melodia (new name?) (Melody, Mel), Ethan plays rhythm and bass guitars; then Justin is the youngest on Keyboards. They are all extra special. Check out their covers when playing the Santa Monica Pier, they rock the scene and have had many big name entertainers visit with them and even jam with them. Melody (I just can't do that new handle) is a vocal beast and can play bass as you will see from earlier videos. But she concentrates on her vocals and writing with the help and input of each of the others. I'm proud to consider my self a FANG and look forward to them growing into the international stars they certainly can be.
I am a Warning fan. But everyone needs to listen to other bands I would think. Truth is Liliac is more my speed but I do like the Warning. Go all rock and heavy metal bands keep rocking. I would definitely see Liliac in concert.
I just discovered this band a few days ago and am bowled over by their talent. Now more than ever, we need to promote true musicianship, and these young folks deserve all the accolades and promotion they can get.
Thank you so much! And what you said about some of the warning fans man this been going on a long time bout time someone else spoke up subbed btw and welcome to liliac family saw you come into the discord!
Hi there. I'm a fang for a couple years now and I can tell you that Sam, the lead guitar does so backing vocal. They are an independent band that has a surprising amount of years of experience and have performed on AGT and a show called "World's Best" but then the Pandemic hit which screwed up these opportunities. I'm convinced once you hear more of their music, you'll be a fang as well.
Great reaction Melodys vocals are insane nö one comes close. Every song they do originals and tributes are Phenomenal. Melody loves Ronnie James Dio to the point that Wendy Dio asked them to do The Last in Line for Cancer fundraiser which Vinny Appice former Dio Drummer who has collaborated with Melody on several songs gave them an unreleeased version for fundraiser. They also have a masterpiece Ballad Sailaway with an orchestra and Choir. There Dear Father has a more symphonic style. They have 2 albums with originals Chain of Thorns and Queen of Hearts wirking on third.
This has probably been answered but, yes, Sam does backup singing for his sister. When they started as "The Cristeas" it was Sam, Abigale and Melody at first. Abigale was playing the accordion to give you an idea how long ago that was. These kids go way back. Watch their vlogs. They give a lot of information if they are still up on youtube. They are not signed. Dad is watching out for them. This is a full on family affair. Dad manages and produces along with Sam. Mom takes care of merch and all of them write lyrics and music for their songs. They walked away from America's Got Talent when offered a contract because it was basically BS. Kudos to Dad for that. And congrats you are now a fang.
Totally independent band. They all have a role in the production. Florin (dad) is the producer, Sam (guitarist) helps with post production and editing I believe. They have headlined a few times, as well as been on the KISS cruise multiple times. I was hooked the first time I heard them do the cover of Crazy Train. 🤘🤘
I like The Warning and Liliac. They both ROCK! One is not better than the other. It is like comparing apples and oranges. Both yummy. Some people just want to fight. Give them boxing gloves and go to the gym.
They are fully independent. They are managed by their dad Florin Cristea (who was a producer in Romania) . Look at their live show from Cummings< GA and you see Sam's talent on guitar. Also watch Sail Away or Dear Daddy
I'm here for you as you dive down the Liliac rabbit hole. I strongly suggest their original "Sail away" , and their covers are phenomenal, Wendy Dio asked Liliac to do "Last in line" for the Dio cancer fundraiser, it's off the charts
Reaction suggestions: Liliac's latest cover is White Stripe's "Seven Nation Army." For this cover Liliac takes some liberties with the original arrangement including a guitar solo. For a live song there's their original song "Mars," pro shot in Georgia.
It really depends on which direction you want to go with them? You can go all the way back to when Sam the lead guitarist dang "Say Something" with Melody singing back up vocals ( Sam was around 13 and Melody was around 11) or when they sang "Stay" where Melody sang lead with Sam doing back up at the time they were called "The Cristea's" type that in to UA-cam and those videos will come up. Their are some decent video out there from when they played on the Santa Monica Pier live one of the covers I love that they do is a cover of Jefferson Airplanes "Somebody to Love" they do everything thing from "Master Of Puppets"Metallica" to Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction" to Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself For Loving You" they have a 6 song EP out "Chain Of Thorns" which this song is off of and a 13 song LP out"Queen Of Hearts " all their Originals and Covers are Phenomenal can't go wrong with anything you choose. You get to see where they started to where they are now and how much they have grown vocally and musically. Now Papa Liliac really wants to stay "Independent " so it doesn't take away his kids creativity or change who they are and the directions they want to go so they can keep experimenting and just to be able to keep growing as artists. There's a lot of people out there that want them to remain independent cause of corporate greed and what it has done to other bands. On the other hand he is not counting it out altogether it would have to be something pretty special for them to sign with a label considering he knows quite well how things work considering he is a producer.
Yes, I agree; with You ..they are unique in a lot of their original music...they do however give great justice to honor who inspired their sound and likes...they were offered a deal but did not want to not be who they were...there is alot of great live footage, the fans and patrons sponsor the video's and they have produced quite a few thank's to Papa Liliac...Sail away is a good choice for unique but original, also Mars and Dear Father...but You really check out Holy Diver, Another piece of my Heart, and Symphony of Destruction showcasing the talent and ability to RORH....
Nice to see you (finally) do a reaction to Liliac. They’re all good musicians, especially the guitarist, but Melody’s vocals are insane. She’s got great range, and her voice has that “rasp” to it that just works so well for a metal singer. Liliac are pretty good songwriters too, all their original songs have been good. If you’re looking to check out more Liliac, I’ll suggest one of their covers and another of their originals. Their cover of “Symphony of Destruction” is really good, and their original song “Nothing” is one of my favorites. As for the fighting between fans of The Warning and Liliac….just remember that the term fan is short for “fanatic” and ignore the haters. I’m a fan of both The Warning and Liliac because they’re both damn good bands working hard to keep rock/metal alive. I personally have a preference towards The Warning because I think they are better songwriters, but they’re both bands I enjoy.
I also like the Warning, but lean more towards LIliac, and I agree with you on people who bitch about the bands! I look at it this way, if they don't agree with how a band conducts themselves, it's not your place to say anything about it! I didn't like the fact that many rock bands destroyed hotel rooms in the 80s, but I didn't stop liking there music! Just thought they were wrong for doing it and I didn't say anything, people are just to critical of bands that do thier own thing, either be a fan, or not! There are things I feel LIliac shouldn't have changed, but it's none of my business or concern, but yet I still like the band and the brand thier developing! Everything is in fluid motion, and changing all the time.
Sam the lead guitarist does backup vocals, also this song is about 2 years old, it was on their Chain of Thorns EP. I personally like the shorter EP version as it is not overkilled with screams. Love this band, don't get me wrong, they are the real deal.
I really like TW and I wish them the best and I know there's a lot of Warning fans that feel the same way for Liliac. The only thing I heard that was said Liliac was asked about touring with TW and Melody said if they want to open for us and then smiled it wasn't nothing to get bent out of shape over but maybe I missed something else. They are independent by choice and I got to see them in July for the first time and it was awesome! Thanks for the great reaction and comments and stay well. New sub Fang4Life!!
In terms of label vs independent-I think the situation with The Warning was different because of being in Mexico, that makes it harder to get attention in the US. The contract with Lava so far has paid off more in opening doors for things like getting into festivals and making contacts that led to things like the Enter Sandman cover with Alessia Cara, and getting to work with producer David Bendeth. The biggest problem for both bands right now is that they rely a lot on live performances and touring is becoming so expensive.
Samuel the guitar player in addition to playing the guitar he also does the video editing, But Melody is the most amazing of all female singers out there
I am late to this party but, what a great statement about just supportIng and showing love for all the young talented weather you like one lil more than the other or just cant get to one.. its music entertainment is taste subjective some are broader than the others, and am old blues style hard rocker fan myself whos fairly older sibling brother was playing Led Zep with his high school band in our basement in 1970, i am like wow my sister played a little too, turned me on to some Canned Heat , Alvin Lee of Ten years after so my fav style started lol .. even tho i like some heavier metal if i can go with the lyrics, my old musician friends recently sent videos of these newer young rockers, lets support them all and chill the toxicness .. i seen that while browsing too just sad i had to stick up for one over the other myself, i have loved Ronnie James Dio since the mid 70s ... one of a kind .. enough said
Not signed...AGT offered them a peanut contract that Papa Liliac turned down and withdrew them from the show. If you get a chance see them live they are fangtastic
Papa Liliac is watching out for the band. They will not sign any bad contracts. This is why they left Americas Got Talent. The Contract they wanted the band to sign was for 1% for 5 years. Papa Liliac told them where to go. They will wait for the right label with a good contract.
Cool reaction! I don't tend to get into the internacene stuff between fan groups. I know of the Warning but haven't really listened to them. Probably a good band. Not particularly threatened by there being multiple good bands out there. It isn't team sports, it's options. The more options the better. There's good stuff and there's stuff that just sucks. The stuff that sucks makes you appreciate the good stuff. So make room for all of it. On recommends, you got a great one right off the bat. This extended cut just slams it in gear and takes no prisoners. Great piece. You have a lot to pick from with this band in terms of material from originals to covers. IMO if you want to see thematic that to me sums up the band - "Nothing" is a good starting point. They call their style "Vamp Metal" and if you look at this earlier offering, it's video quality feels like it came from the 30s film school that Nasferatu erupted from. Don't want to give anything away, you'll see it in the end. Apart from that, there is the ballad "Sail Away" which is fast becoming one of two tossup favorites from them along with the live version of "Mars" from Cumming, Georgia. Their covers are fantastic, even epic. 7 Nation Army is just a whole other level of holy sh*t. Their cover of Master of Puppets by Metallica - another brilliant touch. Again, just grab and go.. with your appreciation and past participation in the genre and your respect for this one.. you'll be addicted. And it will be fun going through it with you. Love the first time reactions to this band specifically. Between the ownership of talent on display and the Masterful vocals by Melody.. Just no bad choices IMO.
No, they are not signed, and I don't think they ever intend to be. They are a fully independent band, and most likely intend to stay that way. Their father is a music producer and you know what that means...they're already in good hands in that department. They were on AGT for the 2020 season and got thru the initial audition, but then Covid hit, and when they read the fine print of the show's contract, specifically the part where if you win the show, the company controls you for 5 years and gets 95% of the profits. And Liliac said, "Nope...no thank you." And they bowed out of the show before Round 2. The band has done quite well without label backing. The mother runs the merch part of the business, and Melody, the vocalist, and Sam, the guitarist, take care of the art department. Melody creates the band's artwork, and Sam edits the videos. And yes, Sam does some backing vocals when necessary. Before turning into Liliac, they sang pop songs when they were very young, and Sam sang lead, so he's got a decent voice himself.
Liliac father was a pop singer back in his day, then became a music producer! He is from Transylvania Romania. Liliac is the Romania word that translates into English as: Vampire Bat.
Oh , by the way , if you look at the bass drum , you see the Liliac logo , but one section of the vid , the bass drum has a spiral instead . That's the concert I went to in Bloomington Illinois on the 10 th of July !!!!
Personally I support all excellent young bands. It's true that Melody made a crack, but if people keep trolling you with the other band (and there are trolls in both camps, make no mistake) you're liable to crack wise. Honestly the bands aren't the problem it's a minority of toxic fans. I love both bands and if anybody takes issue with that, tough. To answer your question they're not signed because their manager, their dad is holding out for right deal. And yeah backup vocals are probably Sam who is a good singer in his own right. Great reaction!
I've been following them for five years , they are this good , as a matter of fact part of this vid is taken from the show I was at . Check the bass drum , if you see the spiral, that's the show I was at . Their covers are great , their originals are as good !!! They are not signed . They bailed on America's Got Talent , because Simon wanted I think 95% of everything they made for five years !!! They wouldn't sign after they got four yeses
You asked for information on Liliac and from what I saw in the comments already, you got what you asked for! You can see the production value Papa Liliac adds. Sam also does a lot of video editing. The family is incredibly talented. Cummings Georgia live videos are mentioned a lot in the comments for good reason. They went to a lot of effort to make sure the sound recording was good. Not always easy in some venues. Mars is an outstanding live original video, but do yourself a favor and watch the live cover of "Piece of my heart" also in Cummings Georgia and see how much justice she did to Janis Joplin! I am more of a metal guy. I love all the Dio, Metallica, and Megadeth covers, but even that Joplin version cover impressed me. Yes, the hostility between both bands needs to end. I am so grateful that young bands are keeping our music alive. The animosity hurts both groups. I don't understand how they think trashing another rising band helps them in any way. We have to support all this talent!🤘 🤘
I'd be willing to bet that some of the friction between the 2 have to do with the fact that LILIAC remains un signed by a big label Wich gives them all the freedom of how and where they perform and produce thier product, promote thier brand as they see fit! I have seen where so many young bands get signed and then just worked to death with little reward! Then years down the road they end up as slaves to the labels! Or just burn out and fade away, I believe FLORIN Crestea is teaching his kids the about the vultures in the music industry! He's a great dad and a smart man!!!
best covers master of puppets, holy diver, last in line. best originals mars( live cummings ga), we are the children, mystery, and their masterpiece sailaway
You should react to the lead singer doing Country Girl with Vinny Appice's Sabbath's Knights. She is the real deal. There's also a great live version of Liliac doing their original called Mars.
Thank you for reacting to Liliac. This is the song that starts their concerts and it gets the crowd hyped. You are correct that toxicity is ridiculous and not needed. Liliac and The Warning are both great bands. Wonderful reaction sir! RORH!
They don't need a record label. They're gonna hit it big next year on they're European tour. I read rumors of a possible Dream Theater Liliac thing happening. Just what I read. We will find out soon however because 2023 is just around the corner
I really appreciate what you said about the bickering of one band against another band! Totally unnecessary! As far as im concerned, a bands success can be pulled out of thin air if they are liked enough! I appreciate THE WARNING, and i appreciate LILIAC as well, Idont know if LILIAC will be under a label anytime soon, it seems family is more important then being under contract to the riggers of a record company! It's tough im sure to always be a hands on self managing band, but they have complete control of everything they do, snd i think they do an outstanding job at it! Overall they have good forward progress, not nearly as wealthy asany other bands, and don't led the jetset lifestyle, but they have peace and happiness in their lives! And it shows! Thanks for your reaction, i appreciate you and your honesty!
You keep asking if they are signed. What difference does that make? The fact is that they could have been signed years ago but chose to forgo the corrupt music industry and be independent. Let's face it, the music industry doesn't allow a band to be free to do what they do. I was in a professional band for over 25 years and if we could have made a living without an agent and the stranglehold of a record producer we sure as hell would have. We didn't have the social media outlets that a band can utilize now. We had to grind it out the old fashioned way. These kids are doing it exactly how they should be. They keep their creativity and free spirit this way. They aren't slave to the wishes and whims of any producers, agents and the like plus they get to keep most of their earnings instead of receiving a paltry 5% to 10% of the gate, maybe 20% of merchandise sales and they don't have to follow a schedule that isn't in their best interest. So being signed means absolutely ZERO in todays music world. Now as far as what they sound like live, I have been to 3 shows now. One each in 2019, 2021 and this year. They have gotten better and better every year. They open their shows now with this song and it absolutely rocks. It is the perfect song to hype up the crowd. I see nothing but great things for Liliac ahead and I can't wait for the next original album to drop. There isn't another band like them anywhere (family band or otherwise) and they continue to put in the time and effort to get better instead of resting on what they already know. The sky is the limit. For all the haters out there, DEAL WITH IT and GROW UP. There is room in this industry for Everyone and it takes a variety of genres and line ups to make it all work. So play nice, be nice and promote who you like. Just don't trash everybody else please. It makes you and the band you are promoting look bad. Peace and Be Well everyone. RO&RH. Fang For Life KMM
This is actually of a previous album. This is how they perform it now. I am a Liliac fan. (Have all their released albums). Their father needs to consider a record label. The Warning did sign with LAVA records. It took Lava 7 months to create a contract that basically gives the girls complete control of their music. The Warning was actually approached. It's your decision to get what you want. No one can make you sign. These companies have many more contacts than any lone person. The more people you have looking the better. These companies can also hurt you if they want to. Just keep control in the contract.
Hey, excellent review. When it comes to LILIAC and The Warning both bands are very good. Both write excellent original music and both sound great. The one aspect for me when it comes to LILIAC is Melody has very unique vocals. There is grit and power to her voice. Their originals are extremely well done! I think sometimes due to how many covers LILIAC has done many people consider them a cover band. They definitely are not. Their covers are advertisements for their band since they are independent. The Warning are an amazing band of sisters putting together very well written and played music. Their sound is just a little to mainstream for rock for my listening preference. LILIAC originals are more punchy and has just a bit more power and melody’s voice is just “Wow Factor” . It’s just nice to see two young bands that are extremely talented coming up in the rock genre. Thanks again for the review!
Liliac is a great young band. Videos going back maybe 5 years ago from the Santa Monica pier. A lot of covers to start but they have multiple albums of originals too.
Well said Bob. RORH!!!!!!!!!!!!

They also have a new album coming out.
Rob Halford loves Liliac. he even sent them a message telling them to keep rocking and keep it alive.
Also, they just completed their first international headlining Concert in India and they rocked the place.

Great reaction to my favorite band. Your comments were thoughtful and interesting and I look forward to more. Rock on and rock hard my friend! 🤘🦇🤘
i strongly agree on backing both bands, they are both destined for superstardom. liliac is finishing up a 50+ day show next week and on nov 6th they will be at the unity festival in india their 1st internstional show. they are totally independant and they write, produce, edit, and film everything inhouse. sam the guitar player does all the back up singing

Liliac- Holy Diver, Master of Puppets, The Trooper, The Last In Line. Are some great covers.
I am a new fan. I am 70 yrs old and played in 30 bands. They are tight. Genius parents they manage them.
RO&RH!
They are SOOO GOOD in concert! 🤘🤘🤘❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🎶🎵😎
I got hooked on Liliac with their version of Crazy Train. I have seen them just twice but I love them and I am a Fang
First time listening to this song myself and I love it! Look forward to seeing them rock a lot longer.
Her voice gives me chills.
Just amazing young bunch of kids.....Love listening to them....melodie is just amazing vocals, so original
HeD Fang... Saw them on the Santa Monica pier when she was 16. I knew they would take off.
Thank you so much! And what you said about some of the warning fans man this been going on a long time bout time someone else spoke up subbed btw and welcome to liliac family saw you come into the discord!
Thanks for the video. Liliac is really something else. I like and support both bands mentioned. Plenty of room for both... Plus a few more!
Thanks for reacting to my favorite band ❤️🤘
Lots of good originals. Nothing, Sail Away, Mars live, We Are the Children, Chain of Thorns..
May I add "Dancing In The Dark"
Cool reaction from a cool person! Thank you for your work, you make great content! We in Russia love to watch your channel🙂🙂
Thank you!
They are amazing 🤘🏼
so happy to hear they are independant..hope they continue that path they are on...they will do so much better than a signed band....
Would've been great to see a single performance of this song. Different shows edited together. Good to see Abby doing a straight Rockin job. ✌️
I like The Warning and Liliac. They both ROCK! One is not better than the other. It is like comparing apples and oranges. Both yummy. Some people just want to fight. Give them boxing gloves and go to the gym.
They are amazing love there energy
60 years old and a solid FANG
They are fully independent. They are managed by their dad Florin Cristea (who was a producer in Romania) . Look at their live show from Cummings< GA and you see Sam's talent on guitar. Also watch Sail Away or Dear Daddy
Ray B Dear Father. Not Dear Daddy.
Melody reminds me of a mix of Lzzy, Britney Slays, and Janis Joplin. Marvelous.
I'm here for you as you dive down the Liliac rabbit hole. I strongly suggest their original "Sail away" , and their covers are phenomenal, Wendy Dio asked Liliac to do "Last in line" for the Dio cancer fundraiser, it's off the charts
This is a jackpot for you to roll with . We will roll with you .
"Dancing in the Dark" ANDS chain of thorns are musts .. they have several RIO covers too
Sam the lead guitarist does back up vocals and for a while while they were performing as the Cristeas Sam was lead vocals.
Reaction suggestions: Liliac's latest cover is White Stripe's "Seven Nation Army." For this cover Liliac takes some liberties with the original arrangement including a guitar solo. For a live song there's their original song "Mars," pro shot in Georgia.
Not to mention actually adding a Bass guitar.
They are awesome. I love all of there music
Melody es increíble
Hearing Melody sing she reminds me of Robert Plant. Able to go high low to high like him
I really like TW and I wish them the best and I know there's a lot of Warning fans that feel the same way for Liliac.
Mars another original from Liliac Live in Cummings Georgia. Love me some Liliac Vamp Metal.
They are so good!! Listen to their original "Mars". Sam the lead guitarist, he is so freaking talented, you have to watch his solo!! Great song also.
You have a lot to pick from with this band in terms of
material from originals to covers. IMO if you want to see thematic that to me sums up the band - "Nothing" is a good starting point. They call their style "Vamp Metal" and if you look at
this earlier offering, it's video quality feels like it came from the 30s film school that Nasferatu erupted from.
They are awesome. You will learn. Enjoy!
Liliac and The Warning both Rock and I'm a fan of both😎🤘🤘🤘
Liliac father was a pop singer back in his day, then became a music producer! He is from Transylvania Romania. Liliac is the Romania word that translates into English as: Vampire Bat.
Completely Independant .... which is a wonderful thing. Check on Mars or Sail Away. But my favorite is a lesser known song called Vertigo.
Oh , by the way , if you look at the bass drum , you see the Liliac logo , but one section of the vid , the bass drum has a spiral instead . That's the concert I went to in Bloomington Illinois on the 10 th of July !!!!
Yes, backup singer is Samuel the guitarist. 😊
Try their cover of Last in Line or their original Sail Away
I've been following them for five years , they are this good , as a matter of fact part of this vid is taken from the show I was at . Check the bass drum , if you see the spiral, that's the show I was at . Their covers are great , their originals are as good !!! They are not signed . They bailed on America's Got Talent , because Simon wanted I think 95% of everything they made for five years !!! They wouldn't sign after they got four yeses
It was actually 99% but either way, a terrible deal and they were right to refuse it.
Mars live is really good, Sail Away is the Rock Ballad.
I've heard them both and NEVER say anything bad. Build rock again, don't kill it. Have a favorite, but subscribe and promote other bands too.🤘
I'd be willing to bet that some of the friction between the 2 have to do with the fact that LILIAC remains un signed by a big label Wich gives them all the freedom of how and where they perform and produce thier product, promote thier brand as they see fit! I have seen where so many young bands get signed and then just worked to death with little reward! Then years down the road they end up as slaves to the labels! Or just burn out and fade away, I believe FLORIN Crestea is teaching his kids the about the vultures in the music industry! He's a great dad and a smart man!!!
Yes b/up vacals are from Sam on lead guitar.
best covers master of puppets, holy diver, last in line. best originals mars( live cummings ga), we are the children, mystery, and their masterpiece sailaway
You should react to the lead singer doing Country Girl with Vinny Appice's Sabbath's Knights. She is the real deal. There's also a great live version of Liliac doing their original called Mars.
Please listen to their original rock ballad Sail Away..thank you for reacting to my favorite independent band! RORH
Thank you for reacting to Liliac. This is the song that starts their concerts and it gets the crowd hyped. You are correct that toxicity is ridiculous and not needed. Liliac and The Warning are both great bands. Wonderful reaction sir! RORH!
This is there opening song. Prepares you for what's to come lol.
They performed on at least one KISS Kruise . check out their cover of DIO's Holy Diver
Well said . Thank you !
Her brother Sam is lead guitarist and is also a decent singer.
Mars live is unbelievable
Great reaction! A Warning and Liliac concert together would be awesome!
💜 LILIAC 🥁🎹🎸🎤🎶🙂
U wanna see outstanding, do a reaction to “ Carousel” to Liliac, then you will see outstanding
No their independent right now not signed we are the support
This is actually of a previous album.
This is how they perform it now.
I am a Liliac fan. (Have all their released albums). Their father needs to consider a record label. The Warning did sign with LAVA records.
It took Lava 7 months to create a contract that basically gives the girls complete control of their music.
The Warning was actually approached. It's your decision to get what you want. No one can make you sign. These companies have many more contacts than any lone person. The more people you have looking the better. These companies can also hurt you if they want to.
Just keep control in the contract.
Screw the record labels, they're going on a European tour in 2023 and they are going to hit it big. Watch and see.
Try their song called "Sail away" then go to Mystery...
Great reaction!
I agree .I don't want the any one throwing shade on any of these bands.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
