I like my Enzo but I wish you would have made a better manual with more detailed explanations… fx: ❤ How do you adjust the level of the pedal…? I find that you have to have your guitar turned up quite a bit before Enzo reacts and then it’s often much louder than my clean signal…..
Biggest issue I had with this pedal was its presets. I got the software editor, but it was always wonky getting its midi to work/save. I would really love Meris to make a refresh of this pedal (or do a modulation pedal with the enzo in it in the LVX/Mercury X platform format) and add usb-c and improve the interface etc. Very nice video, thx.
It's frustrating trying to create presets. I've been on the verge of selling this pedal, but keep holding on imagining myself finally being able to tame it.
Huge Thank You for this walkthrough. It really helped me get *into* this pedal after quite a while it had been collecting dust because yours truly and RTFM weren't friendly...
Hi! Curious about your decision to place the Enzo, where you did, in the signal chain. The OD, the chorus and Generation Loss will not serve the input tracking of the Enzo. I could see you wanting to preserve the stereo image out of the Enzo, but your chorus appears to have a stereo out....the drive will not, does the Gen Loss have stereo I/O? Regardless, tone shapers (the "Sick-As") and then time-based effects ("Horrothia" and "Gen Loss"); would serve you better after initial tone shaping (synths...."Enzo")....or that is my take on it. If you have a logic to this, that is better, please share. At any rate....wish this video was around 6-years ago(?). Simply the best Enzo vid I have seen (and I have watched a bunch). I have the Hydra and the LVX. Thanks again!. PS:: I would have one of those cheapo micro pedal compressors in line on the input of the Enzo, on the same loop. Synth pedals can distinguish velocity, but require a more "constant volume"....I learned this from my old Roland "Pitch-to-Voltage Rack Synth" I had in the 90's.
Hi! I'll take it section by section since there's a lot to dig into The Horrothia has stereo output, but it's kinda false stereo with a dry and a wet out, so I typically run it in mono, but the Generation loss does have stereo I/O! - Because the Enzo sounds are mostly agnostic to timbre of what you play into them I've been experimenting with placing modulations and other creative effects prior to the enzo so that it almost creates 2 very different feeling sounds rather than using gen loss over all of it, bringing the enzo back into consistency with the guitar. Not really a strong preference, but something I've been messing with in my spare time. Thank you for the kind words, it really means a ton to me. Regarding compression, I totally agree, the Cali76 Stacked has 2 stages of compression, one that I typically set with a fast attack so that it levels out the peaks, but the second I leave on slow so that it brings the tails of my signal up creating that smooth sustain that does seem to make tracking easier. I was really amazed by how well it tracked being placed after drive though!
Great demo, I’m really loving mine, except for one thing…when the filter envelope is set to slow attack, I frequently get a glitchy popping sound, which ruins the beautiful swells. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I’m using flatwounds, could that be an issue?
Man that would be cool, but I have a sneaking suspicion because some of the features have been reimplemented in the LVX/MercX from what I understand that that's probably a long way off if it's slated at all
Been reading the some are having problems with tracking as notes fade away also that there are random volume jumps … .anyone experiencing these problems and what work around have you found?.
Really inspiring demo! I'm still discovering things abort this pedal after 2 yrs, it's amazing! Having the secondary functions printed on the pedal is brilliant, is that something you made yourself? Did yours come like that? Just curious, thanks!
This pedal is a keeper - you just need to be patient with it and you will get so many rewards… one of the cleverest and brilliant pedals around - add some reverb and your away… 👍🏻👊🏻🙏🏻
❤ How do you adjust the level of the pedal… ? I find that you have to have your guitar turned up quite a bit before Enzo reacts and then it’s often much louder than my clean signal…
I notice you've not got a section on Poly Mode. How do you find the note tracking? I've found a boost beforehand can help but it still sends out some clashy notes at times, esp with a full chord/much more than an octave between highest and lowest notes..
The entire control section is the poly mode, I've found that a compressor may help with some tracking, but I've had few issues with the modes and tracking accuracy, what I do find is that depending on the part, switching between envelope and trigger mode for the filter makes things feel more organic, but like all things YMMV!
Really nice! Thanks for the video, but in the same time I was waiting to hear the enzo together with the generation loss… 😂 I am thinking about getting it for the Enzo.
Loved your live filter sweeps and all your sculpted sounds . Thank you for bringing Enzo to life!

Wow man this sounds awesome!

Dude that Balaguer is so sick!! Super cool tones from the pedal as well!

Enzo is a great pedal.. Perfect for sci fi Soundscapes drenched in stereo delay and reverb..
Enzo X, anytime soon? Surely hope so!

It's a little overlay that they sent out with the pedal! I believe they sell them on site now
Charging a tenner for them is a lot.. stickers/marker pen do the trick..

@@ijazzmunki yeah that doesn’t seem to work
I want the huge cimematic blade runner raw oscillator sounds of the Enzo paired with the tracking, flexibility, presets, & ui of the SY200. alas 😞
I haven't found issues with the tracking on the Enzo, what have you experienced?
Love mine!

I have problems with mine. I’ve watched tutorials and Examples. I don’t know what to do. How can I resolve my problem?
I mean, what are the problems? Hard to help without knowing more. Have you emailed the Meris team?
Lvx, mercury. I wonder what they’re going to call their golden modular.

Really nice! Thanks for the video, but in the same time I was waiting to hear the enzo together with the generation loss… 😂 I am thinking about getting it for the Enzo.
I'll have to give that a try soon! definitely seems like a lot of potential to create some pretty incredible sounds
