Manchester's becoming an expensive place to live as London based businesses (like the BBC) are all moving here because it's more cost effective. That said, there are still plenty of decent houses if you're prepared to live outside the city limits. Cool place, huh?

Congratulations, I think you'll have an amazing time here. The UoM is one of the largest Universities in all of Europe, with some great nightlife and you won't be bored here. When sport comes again and were allowed in go to the aj bell stadium to watch salford red devils (just a question, u said u like league more than union, who do u like most in league?)
I'm a Wigan Warriors fan and I generally watch the games. I'd see more at the AJ Bell, but the traffic is always a nightmare and parking is hard to come by without arrive two hours early.
@@UltimateBucketList my mum's a Wigan fan but she hates others like when I was 9 I went to the haliwell Jones stadium to watch Wigan v Salford in the challenge cup when the final whistle blew 2 people behind me were shouting at me Salford are **** I was nearly crying, I'm 12 now and a season ticket holder at salford
I'd see more Salford games if it wasn't a pain in the ass to get to. Fortunately for me, one of my clients has a free car park I can use - so I'm usually away before the traffic gets bad. And in fairness, up until last season, Salford really were ****

Another place to consider visiting is Media City (if you’ve not already been), good video mate and I particularly enjoyed the Everton/Liverpool stadium tour video. Awesome video about a wonderful place and fastest growing city in EU, However, you missed an exciting place ''currys mile'' centre for Indian and Arabian cuisine -
Being a student one time in my life, I've had more than my fair share of nights along the curry mile. It's not something I'd ever go back to ... too many bouts of food poisoning.
Thanks for this thorough review of Manchester. I have been here for a few days and your guide definitely helped me to know where to go and not waste my time. The UoM is one of the largest Universities in all of Europe, with some great nightlife and you won't be bored here.
It's also easy to get to other parts of the country and the airport is a major international airport, so it's your gateway into Europe too.
Good luck!
You will find the weather similar to Seattle and there is the Frasier(Greatest comedy of all time) connection with Daphne lol. I hope that you like it.
@@paulwild3676 the whole Daphne Moon thing is what most Americans assume that Mancunians are like. But she's from Sussex and her accent is way off (she sounds more like she's from Yorkshire). On a more interesting side note: John Mahoney (who plays Frasier's dad) IS from Manchester!
great vid ! my dear manchester..I will get back to see it one day...you could do an entire vid on the bars and nightlife let alone anything else
Yes, that's correct. The nightlife is a video in itself.
Super helpful thank you
Glad it was helpful! Hope you have a wonderful time here.
Spent my first 21 years ( nearly 60 now) in Manchester, good city to come from.
It was bloody bleak in the 70s/80s.
I can imagine! But yeah, can't complain about Manchester these days other than the rubbish traffic.
Appreciate this, moving to Manchester for uni in a couple of weeks and wanted to get an idea of the vibe, this video was perfect. Gonna be interesting living in a big city for the first time lol
Cool! I think you're going to love my city!
There's plenty to do and nightlife for a student is bangin'!
And it's not extortionately priced either. Yeah, I mean there's pricey places around, but the vast majority of the city is still affordable.
Good luck and have fun!
what a useful review ! from Viet Nam with love
Glad it was helpful!
moving to Manchester for studies in less than a month and this video was very helpful thank u 🫶🏻
Glad this helps! Good luck with your studies in Manchester :)
i this video is very interesting place you show .Manchester is amazing big city in UK :):) I am a Fan of United as well :):):):):)

And in fairness, up until last season, Salford really were ****
Best video of Manchester. Top job 👌
Thanks a lot! :)
I'm coming down to Manchester in December, this video has been extremely informative and very useful, I've been to Manchester a few times before but have missed seeing alot of this stuff & have now learned a lot of useful info thanks to you, great video. I'm sure I'll have a fantastic time.
Amazing! Thanks Corin - you'll have an amazing time here in my fair city. The nightlife is great and the people are friendly. Hopefully it doesn't rain too much when you get here?! :)
Makes sense that you're from Manchester, given your accent and the fact that you're a united supporter
Makes sense doesn't it?
Nice video. I also like to make videos and could you suggest any good video editing software for Microsoft :)
Thanks. Adobe Premiere or Da Vinci Resolve are your best bets.
Okay thank you!
Iam from kenya, i love your channel and your efforts to make us have a taste of Manchester... approximately, how much minmumly can it cost you for a week stay at manchester?
It depends where you stay. You can stay in cheap hostels for £12 per night or hotels that are around £50 per night.
That said, if you have family over here ... accommodation is free!
@@UltimateBucketList Thank you so much for replying to me my brother...iam humbled.
@@silasproffangote927 you're welcome!
Maybe once this is all over, could you come to Edinburgh
Yes, totally have to do that!
Another place to consider visiting is Media City (if you’ve not already been), good video mate and I particularly enjoyed the Everton/Liverpool stadium tour video. Being a blue myself I have been on one of these tours but not for a very long time. Liverpool City Centre would be another great city to visit to, looking forward to the next video
Media City is okay, but unless you're there to either be on TV or do the BBC Tour, there's not much to shout about.
Thanks for your kind comments - I'll consider doing one about Liverpool.
Ultimate Bucket List I went on the BBC Tour last year which was good and went to the Coronation Street one also, both very good. Looking forward to the next video mate. Take care 👍
@@michaelkeates7838 Yeah it was a fun tour. Thanks bro!
Ultimate Bucket List I’m following you now on Instagram as well bud
@@UltimateBucketList eh, the Imperial War Museum is worth a visit down that way itself.
this guy deserves 100k subs literally
I have that on my other channel, but yeah this channel definitely deserves more subs for the amount of effort I'm putting in it. 👍
UK Manchester City residents are humble and always helped me
Interesting comment from you.
I'm ex-manc, lived in south England, for past 50 years.
Often think of the place.
Peace to all.
I need to get there! I have around 65% getting there this year.
I hope you do! It's a fun place to visit.
@@UltimateBucketList i just got the notificstion that i wilp be able to go to doncanster only, anything you can recommend there?
Thank you for the amazing advice!
You're so welcome - I hope you come and enjoy my city!
I love your videos 😀 you are my favourite youtuber 👊👊🍻
Thanks brother! I just replied to your message on Instagram!
@@UltimateBucketList 😳
Very fantastic video about Manchester
Many thanks
Thanks for this thorough review of Manchester. I have been here for a few days and your guide definitely helped me to know where to go and not waste my time. Printworks is under construction right now so maybe it will be fixed up soon. Also the National Football Museum is only free for Manchester residents. But all in al this definitely helped me navigate the city and is totally my first stop when thinking of hitting up a city especially in Europe.
I did want to get the Man United stadium tour but another city I guess. Thanks for info.
Yeah apparently they started charging for the football museum ... they never used to!
But glad this video helped you out!
I love your videos
Thanks.
Can you do Iceland tour
Manchester city good bless
I prefer United.
Moved here in 2016 and love it. My favorite city in the UK. If anyone is a serious chocolate fan, Slatterys in Whitefield is a must visit. They even do a chocolate challenge for the hardcore which I have failed miserably! Love the content pal
Thanks. Didn't hear about Slattery's ... must look that one up. Cheers!
It is in Whitefield not Prestwich. Sorry to be pedantic
@@paulwild3676 Thanks for spotting that! Ive changed it to Whitefield
