I am ruined. Her death was heartbreaking, her sacrifice humbling, her finding clarity, acceptance, and peace was beautiful and the “road” we all strive for. And whether intentional or not, the Alzheimer’s like moments hit me so hard. I think the writers captured that struggle perfectly. My mother was weirdly and wonderfully lucid at the end too. Patti LuPone is the divine.
if it makes you feel better..after she "dies" she begins again in her childbody with her full memories of what happened and ablet live without the Holes in her memory.
This was the most emotional I've ever been in a Marvel show. It was spectacular. Lilia saying she loved being a witch despite all the pain that it has caused her. I was tearing up. Patti Lupone is a legend.
12:17 This is extra touching to me because for the first time, Jennifer hangs back to try and make sure Lilia gets out safely. Usually she’s the first one out as soon as the trial ends😢. I’m hoping that since Agatha said she always left Jen alone because she was doing important work, that she will go out of her way to save her if it comes down to it.
Yes, I loved her arc in this too! The thing that makes me a little hopeful is that Lillie said Jen was the future - I wonder if she'll maybe be spit out of the road somehow, but stay alive.
i loved this tiny little detail! it shows how much she’s also grown to care about their coven just like lilla was with her “i know we didn’t get along at the beginning but i love you guys”
A small, probably unintentional detail I realized was, at the end of the last episode, Agatha said "Last one [to the trial] is a nice person" and Jen was the last one to enter the room and she grew into a nice person (at least with Lilia) throughout the episode.
i think they will be because they’re actresses are all listed to be in 8 episodes with Joe and Kathryn having 9 episodes since they’re in the first episode/it’s mostly set in Wanda’s spell on Agatha
I am delusional and choosing to believe if the Road gives you what you are missing, what Agatha will be missing at the end of the Road (and has always missed) is a coven, and we will get our witches back. It's not what I think will happen, but it is what I wish!
It might be what happens! She’s so intent on playing into being misunderstood, on shutting people out, because her mother vilified her…when she told her mother “I can be good!” She needs a coven to trust and believe in her. Interesting theory I saw that speculated since her mother and the Salem 7 were blue, and Mephisto is red, Agatha is purple. Which is why her mother believed she was born bad.
I am so glad they did not show Lilia getting impaled, it would've upset me and made me bawl more. This was my favorite episode, each one gets better and better. 😭😭🤣😭
Another reactor linked Lilia's story to Alzheimer's, the way, especially towards the end, people seem to jump through time in their own minds, believing it's 40 years ago, or that their adult children are still young, etc and having no control over when or where it happens. It's incredibly sad when you look at it that way.
Patti LuPone shone bright in this episode! She's such an ICON. 😍 Give her all the awards! This is the best episode of the season so far! HOLY. SHIT. I cried at the end because it was so moving and heartfelt. 😢 R.I.P. Lilia Calderu.🌹🕯 The coolest witch of them all. ❤
I kept saying I thought Rio was Lady Death and the Reveal was everything I was hoping for. The costume department ate with that look. Putting the episode in the way Lilia sees things and how we would feel so out of order was just perfect. It pulled everything together with the seemingly spontaneous utterances. Part of me holds onto Lillia not being dead or this not being the end because so many movies/shows with "you didn't see it they're not dead" rules.
God, I did not think I was going to cry in any of these episodes, but Lilia’s my favorite, and I did not expect her to die and for her last words to her coven was that she loved being a witch after so long hatting that side to her plus I love how her powers are representing someone with dementia, and it's heartbreaking 😢
You can _really_ hear Christophe Beck’s musical signature in this episode. Especially at the very beginning as Lilia is falling. That sombre ‘cello is almost exactly how he’d score sad and melancholy moments in Buffy and Angel.
“You want straight answers, ask a straight lady” - Agatha Harkness 2024 🙌🏼 Agatha being a chaotic queen! “Not cool Teenager! Damn using his full name” 😂 Rio = Death 🖤 Love that for her. Lilia taking out the Salem 7! What a badass! 👏🏽 So sad to see her go. She absolutely killed it! I enjoyed how the episode unfolded from her perspective jumping back & forth. It really put us in her shoes. I liked seeing her backstory & how things tied together. The card reading scene was epic! 🙌🏼 Tarot is so fascinating but eerie at the same time. Enjoy seeing it in media. The tense dynamic shift w/ all the shady banter. I’m living for it! The costumes were on point as always 🔥 These reactions make my day every single time y’all 💚
This was also my favorite episode. Lilia was my favorite since the moment we met her. And still, i never imagined that we would get this beautiful episode about her. She went out like a Queen. I'm campaigning for Patti to get en emmy nomination
William/Billy doesn’t feel anything for Wanda because he doesn’t remember her. He’s had a mother for the last three years who has loved and cared for him. Apparently, he still has some kind of connection to his brother, but Wanda as his mother is just an abstract for him at this point.
This episode was incredible. I'm glad almost everyone had the same reaction after watching it (I mean on the internet in general, not just in UA-cam reactions). It was insanely good.
We only see/hear 5 of the Salem 7 slam into the swords, so the other 2 may still be a threat. This makes sense as two of them are represented by birds.
This episode was everything it gave us everything we wanted a beutiful ending for Lilia 🥹❤️ great reaction yall 🎉the Agatha and Billy outfits were on point 🙌
I just feel like she isn’t gone, cause marvel has this thing we’re of they don’t show a clear death them 9 times out of 10 that person isn’t dead. Like Loki, Nick Fury, and Nebula (to my knowledge) and probably more because they had so many cliff hangers where they could have died and they just pop back up. Example Alex and Mrs Hart we clearly saw their deaths but not Lila. So maybe at some point the card either flipped back or someone saved her last minute.
I watched this late last night and was devastated. I was so angry because I was crying and then I had to try and go to sleep. My heart hurt. I have no words. Twice this show has done it to me!! I can't do this...
I was crying and yelling "No" over and over again, cuz I didn't want it to be true, as it's nearing the end of the third act. I was in heavy denial. Once it ended I was just trying to process and couldn't concentrate on anything but those last few minutes. Then I got angry. But still, what a standing ovation for the writers to give Patty Lupone such an amazing send off. I might still be in a little bit of denial, because I want her and Sharon to come back at the end. The way Rio looked at Alice's body with sadness, right before sending shaming looks at Agatha, maybe she'll resurrect her because she died protecting the woman she fell for. Didn't expect Billy to have issues towards his mother. I want to see how that goes when all three of them (Wanda and both twins) meet back up. I'm still big mad at Marvel for that Evan Peters sike out in Wandavision. Maybe I'm still in denial, but I hope they make him the real Tommy at the end, somehow. They have the power to change their age, if they choose...if they can do that outside the hex. Back in Wandavison, on the box set they had that bonus end credit of him actually being the one Wu was looking for as the witness in the protection program. Because of Wanda's hex, Wu couldn't recognize him as that guy, just like the witches couldn't see Billy in William's body because of the protection sigil. Idk...I'm desperately reaching...cuz they can't just waste all these talented people just as cameos or gettin' got on the road. SIDE NOTE: Very clever of them using that song "Time in a bottle" at the end, when that's the same song Evan Peters used as Quicksilver in Days of Future's Past Xmen movie. Yeah...I'm big mad too.
I think the reason Billy was Maleficent is because the horns on the costume are _extremely_ similar and reminiscent of the character, Ch’thon. He, in the comics, is the creator of the Darkhold and the source of Chaos magic.
So cool they were able to connect the confusing parts of the season (from ep 1 to 6 ), all leading up to Lilia! And her restarting her life is amazing, a new fresh start. 😢❤❤❤❤😊😊
I legit cried when watching this episode i love lila shes my favorite character even my friends would say i'm Lila since like her I would see things, I would go on a rant in how witches are rep and I'm a tarot reader as my main tool in my practice but overall oooo Rio death design was BEAUTIFUL but terrifying like how death can be plus how death being THEE green witch fits so well because we think life of nature blooming plants but whats more natural without death and decay
Agatha getting into her Idina Menzel😍 moment is everything, and why whyyyyyy Lillia had to die🥺 can't take any more deaths, they need to bring them together they are a dynamic team and everything together.
Shows get boring when we don’t have those deaths though, we don’t want a walking dead situation where we aren’t worried about the main squad cus they won’t be killed off, I know it’s emotional and heavy but that’s what makes these shows so great, they make you genuinely care about these characters *hugs to you btw* ❤❤❤
Such a Lilia way to beat the Salem Seven. No fire, no flashy laser fingers, no explosions. Just quiet confidence, calm speaking... and a card trick. I feel next week Episode 8 will include AGATHA'S flashback, and if it is we will get to see the Salem Seven at their height. I also realised that this means AAA has put scenes from THE FINALE in the trailers the release MONTHS before the show even opened. How many shows have the cajónes to do that? (not to mention putting the huge Tarot twist on a sweatshirt that THOUSANDS of people have been wearing for weeks!)
Agatha's "I've got a thing for the bad boys" line felt like a shout out to Wrestling With Demons from season three of Charmed when Phoebe says "[we're in the situation] because your sisters have a thing for bad boys". Maybe I'm connecting dots they aren't there, but so far it seems like everything about the show is meant to remind us of pop culture witches. Speaking of Charmed; I think that the remaining three witches are going to be a power of three coven each representing the Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Their core personalities line up with those archetypes with a twist: Billy is naive and full of potential, Agatha has been nurturing and supporting but her child is gone and she acts nothing like what a mother is "supposed to" act like since she's a rule breaker, and finally Jen is the healer and midwife who "is the path forward" being the high priestess and is giving Grams levels of sass.
I’m 58 secs in and I’m already worried for Sergio….,this episode hit me like a tonne of bricks as it reminded me of my father who passed away recently from dementia. I’m sending you both hugs from now ❤
We are so close to get the real big Four in the MCU now! So now we have Eternity and Death now we only need Infinity and oblivion to pop up and we have all four Cosmic entities
Happy "Agatha" Thursday morning with Cody & Sergio! 🔮✨️ This, along with the previous episode have been my two favorites so far. Loved the fairytale/Wizard of Oz characters in this episode. And this episode introduced Lady Death into the MCU. For another fairytale show, I very very VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND the show "Once Upon a Time" to you guys. I think you both would love it. Looking forward to the "Buffy" episodes reactions later this evening. 😊
SPOILER THEORY . . . . . . . . I think the big twist is going to be that this entire Witches Road is actually a Billy-made Hex, much like Wanda did in Wandavision. He said that the road looks exactly like he imagined. Agatha seems all weirded out by it. At first, I thought it was because she had never walked the road and lied, but I think it's because she realized it was a Hex and is playing along to see how he takes it. I see Runes in the background of a lot of scenes, built into the lighting and walls very subtly. And yes, agreed that Death is also there for Billy because he should have died when the Hex ended, as should have the body in the car accident.
In the comics, Wanda walked the road with Agatha’s ghost, as she was her mentor, and she was revived and became the goddess of witchcraft, I wonder if we are getting that here, Agatha becoming a protector of all witches
i'm sure it's not the end. she is comic accurate in a way. which provides options for returning. and considering her incredibly powerful magic, her perception of time. she's got strong probabilities of showing up in future content for sure.
I think it’s gonna be a Jean grey situation c2. Wanda gonna be in a magical cocoon under the mountain like Jean with the dam. I also think it’s self inflicted she will need her loved need to give her a reason to “wake”.
If Dr doom finds Wanda after the event of multiverse of madness , I will riot ! The negligence of Dr strange and the sorcerer supreme not to check to make sure the ultimate magical being on the planet going bats&it crazy after possession of the book of the d@mned was not alived and confirmed is crazy to me . A world of magical objects and users on top of your top tier power level is negligence and I can’t see Wong not confirming her destruction . He has one job ?! lol defend against magical, spiritual and dimensional threats.
Maybe... Is there a meaning on the cards that Agatha throws on Billy. Can anyone look at those? Maybe she was hiding the reading.. AND.... AND... when Agatha sits on the table with Billy she was waving her hand doing some magic. Take a look
Imo. What Agatha is really missing is the child that she loved... and blames Rio for taking away. She's Billy on the road and all hell will break loose if Rio tries to take him, too. This show has done a lot to surprise me, but I will be shocked if this isn't the big, emotional and explosive finale of the show in episode 9 -- probably after we get a flashback that let's us see what happened with Nicholas and Rio. PS. I wonder if Agatha lost Nicholas in getting the Darkhold (as Jen accused, and the potion trial at least suggested was related) but Agatha just assumed Rio/Death would let her 'cheat' and give Nicholas back, because presumably Rio has the cosmic power to bring people back from death if she wanted to (like in the comics) but it almost never, ever happens, and Rio wasn't or couldn't make an exception for Agatha. It would be a very Agatha thing to happen that fits what little we know so far.
Loved how episode 6 kinda filled a plot hole. Wanda probably couldn’t find Billy because of Lilia and the Sigil. Tommy’s soul also could have never found a body. It sucks that the events of M.O.M could have been prevented. In time Billy could have learned about The Witches Road and he could have done it with Wanda & the Coven
What is even sadder is that I noticed we only saw 5 of the 7 land on the swords. Now, no detail in this show has gone without meaning something, so my theory is that the bird ones(crow and owl) escaped or just didn't land on the swords and we will see them again. Which just makes me more sad because Lilia sacrificed herself for her coven to kill the Salem 7.
One interesting thing I noticed in this episode is that we only see five of the Salem 7 here - so two of them could potentially still be out there. Not sure if that will come into play, but I suppose we'll see...!
Love your theory that death is after Billy for possessing a dead body. To build on that I think she wants to claim that body still which should technically be dead and maybe Agatha will have to stop her and protect billy which she couldn’t do with her own son
Jen is the road ahead , based on the trailers , Jen seems to be the only one coming above earths surface - my opinion Jen will be the only clear survivor with Agatha and Billy going somewhere in limbo.
I would guess that Billy & Agatha will die against the last two of the Salem seven! Billy said the road will give you what you need. If it’s Jen who ends up at the Witches Road she will get her coven. If it’s Agatha it will be her coven and unexpectedly Wanda. If it’s Billy it will be not only the coven but his family aka Tommy and Wanda. The thing is this is the year 2026. We won’t see Wanda but much like Tony in Infinity war/end game, she will eventually be needed again. I only say 2026 because endgame was in 2023 & Billy finds Agatha three years later.
This is not the real « witches road » I think but one imagined and created by Billy like his mom Wanda created a fake city without her knowing. So I don’t think the Witches are really dead nor the Salem 7 then. Agatha knows for sure that this is Billy fantasy as she’s been on the real Witches road and it is not that, if we listen carefully to what she is saying to Billy. Rio is their for Billy I think and I Hope Agatha will redeem herself from her son’s death by saving Billy.
We only saw 5 witches fall, not all 7 Rio is death, all roads lead to me, I feel like she can’t kill people, she has to meet them at the end of their road
Sergio. Wandas not dead. Like that was way too ambiguous if a send off for her plus it’s agatha never trust a word that comes out her mouth, hope for the best but always be expecting her to turn at any moment too.
I love the coven, but in the context of the MCU, I dont want them to come back. Let their deaths have meaning, don't bring them return to just abandon them like all the other forgotten characters
ALSO Lilia falling to her death or falling/floating in the air in the first scene looked a lot like the scene in "House of the Dragon" when the badass Rhaenys Targaryen aka The Queen Who Should Have Been fell to her death on her dragon. I was like: NO, NOT AGAIN! 😱 I've seen this before and it always hurts! 😭
Hello, loving your reaction's and vibes, is it ok I recommend some movies for your reactions. Bad Taste Brain-dead Jack the giant killer (1960's) The Shallows Doghouse
Best episode so far!!! But Marvel hasn't been doing a great job keeping secrets given the fact Funko Pops leaks gave away weeks ago who Billy/Teen and Rio actually were
the best episodes of character growth revolve around time traveling consciousness, The Queen - Castle Rock and The Constant- Lost are two great examples. Now we have this dope episode, granted the others were a deeper more existential meaning but they did good for Disney.
I have a feeling she ad-libbed that. Idk why, I just do. Love it

Three of the four official versions of the Ballad end with "I'll see you at the end." I hope that's foreshadowing that the dead witches will return.
i think they will be because they’re actresses are all listed to be in 8 episodes with Joe and Kathryn having 9 episodes since they’re in the first episode/it’s mostly set in Wanda’s spell on Agatha

Could be. I do think it's interesting that we know know that the road not only didn't kill those who stepped off of it , but even gave them an out.
Maybe Death is assembling a Coven?

Yes! I'm so confused why other people are confused by this!
Also, Wanda was only his mother for like a week at most…
I can'ttttttt 🥺 I hope he can in some way thats devastating
Which is honestly how it is in the comics. He calls her Wanda, not mom.
@@hermeticallysealed1 makes sense if he’s still also partly William, and the two personalities get merged together.
One of my favorite lines from her and her teacher, I'm a forgotten woman. Remember yourself!
The swords in the ceiling in this ep were real.
They had them suspended above the actors on fishing line.
Wandavision people just built different. 😊🎉
Thanks Patti LuPone, thanks for being in our MCU.

It just dawned on me after watching a few times... Lillia is the actual Queen of Cups depicted on the Taro card.
All of them are depicted as in the cards in the shot that precedes the card.
The 7 cards in Lilia’s reading have alternate art specific to this show. They each literally embody the card before Lilia calls it out.
Skull faced Plaza..... I still would
I certainly would. And I’m a gay man!
This is probably my fave episode. This episode made me super emotional for sure.
I was crying and yelling "No" over and over again, cuz I didn't want it to be true, as it's nearing the end of the third act.

I think the reason Billy was Maleficent is because the horns on the costume are _extremely_ similar and reminiscent of the character, Ch’thon. He, in the comics, is the creator of the Darkhold and the source of Chaos magic.
Billy: **Acts like he doesn't care about Wanda**
Literally seconds later: **Asks if she's really dead and looks dejected after getting a Yes**
I ACTUALLY had some tears fall from that death scene. It was DEEP 😢

Their core personalities line up with those archetypes with a twist: Billy is naive and full of potential, Agatha has been nurturing and supporting but her child is gone and she acts nothing like what a mother is "supposed to" act like since she's a rule breaker, and finally Jen is the healer and midwife who "is the path forward" being the high priestess and is giving Grams levels of sass.
my favorite episode of the series periodt.
smiling, crying and throwing up
I’m 58 secs in and I’m already worried for Sergio….,this episode hit me like a tonne of bricks as it reminded me of my father who passed away recently from dementia.
I’m sending you both hugs from now ❤
We are so close to get the real big Four in the MCU now!
So now we have Eternity and Death now we only need Infinity and oblivion to pop up and we have all four Cosmic entities
I'd love a book similar to Lilia's story. Living your life in the wrong order is so interesting.
If you want a show like that check out the haunting of hill house
Happy "Agatha" Thursday morning with Cody & Sergio! 🔮✨️
This, along with the previous episode have been my two favorites so far.

I love being right :)
2 of the Salem Seven are probably still alive. We only saw 5 fall and 2 of them their animal form was an owl and a crow
And the tower tarot card has 2 people falling out of it.
GIVE PATTI HER EMMY
Teenager!
She used his whole name.
That was so funny! 😂😂😂
I love watching your reaction videos I feel like I have friends watching with me too
Notice we only saw 5 of the Salem Seven die. The owl and crow/raven can fly, and we see feathers falling as the others hit the swords
In the comics, Wanda walked the road with Agatha’s ghost, as she was her mentor, and she was revived and became the goddess of witchcraft, I wonder if we are getting that here, Agatha becoming a protector of all witches
I love tarot cards and i have a tarot card channel also so this is my favorite episode now lol ❤❤❤
i'm sure it's not the end. she is comic accurate in a way. which provides options for returning. and considering her incredibly powerful magic, her perception of time. she's got strong probabilities of showing up in future content for sure.
Ok, so this was my favorite marvel piece of media. Overall. And one of the best episodes of TV. Period. I'm still processing it.
I think it’s gonna be a Jean grey situation c2. Wanda gonna be in a magical cocoon under the mountain like Jean with the dam. I also think it’s self inflicted she will need her loved need to give her a reason to “wake”.
Nah, dr.doom gonna find her with amnesia
I hope not. Last Stand was a tragically bad film. It completely butchered the Phoenix story.
Oo, Agatha wanting her powers back at the end of the road, inadvertently making Wanda come back to life, is such a good idea
Easily the best episode
guy on the left is right saying lady death might be coming for teen because agatha also mentioned how he broke the rules... interesting
I don’t all of the Salem Seven are dead. You don’t hear or see 7 hit the swords, and I think a few of them can fly. We’ll see
I think we're going to find out that Billy was the Bay Harbor Butcher all along.
One interesting thing I noticed in this episode is that we only see five of the Salem 7 here - so two of them could potentially still be out there. Not sure if that will come into play, but I suppose we'll see...!
Owl and Crow are probably still alive since they can fly.
13:02 Lillia falling with more style than Tammy Usher
Love your theory that death is after Billy for possessing a dead body. To build on that I think she wants to claim that body still which should technically be dead and maybe Agatha will have to stop her and protect billy which she couldn’t do with her own son
Sad episode but it’s a masterpiece
For anyone wondering who the villain of the piece will turn out to be, please direct your attention to the title of the show 😂
The Tower reversed! It came to play...
Jen is the road ahead , based on the trailers , Jen seems to be the only one coming above earths surface - my opinion Jen will be the only clear survivor with Agatha and Billy going somewhere in limbo.
If they don’t give Lapone a GOT. DAMN. EMMY. I stg.
12:53 😂
I only counted 5 salem bodies
This is not the real « witches road » I think but one imagined and created by Billy like his mom Wanda created a fake city without her knowing. So I don’t think the Witches are really dead nor the Salem 7 then. Agatha knows for sure that this is Billy fantasy as she’s been on the real Witches road and it is not that, if we listen carefully to what she is saying to Billy. Rio is their for Billy I think and I Hope Agatha will redeem herself from her son’s death by saving Billy.
We only saw 5 witches fall, not all 7
Rio is death, all roads lead to me, I feel like she can’t kill people, she has to meet them at the end of their road
Sergio. Wandas not dead. Like that was way too ambiguous if a send off for her plus it’s agatha never trust a word that comes out her mouth, hope for the best but always be expecting her to turn at any moment too.
I don’t think you need a huge bad or a legit villain. Also Jenn is the path toward
Can we walk about how only 5 of the Salem 7 died?
Hello, loving your reaction's and vibes, is it ok I recommend some movies for your reactions.
Bad Taste
Brain-dead
Jack the giant killer (1960's)
The Shallows
Doghouse
Best episode so far!!! But Marvel hasn't been doing a great job keeping secrets given the fact Funko Pops leaks gave away weeks ago who Billy/Teen and Rio actually were
i honestly think if the leaks didn’t give Billy and Rio away the reveals would have broke Marvel social media 😢
She lnly got five of them.
This episode. Very pot ledom.
Only 5 of the salem witches fell.
I hate marvel now… WTF
This episode was a little weird because of the time jumps. I can't decide if I like it, but that's probably to do with losing Patti.
the best episodes of character growth revolve around time traveling consciousness, The Queen - Castle Rock and The Constant- Lost are two great examples. Now we have this dope episode, granted the others were a deeper more existential meaning but they did good for Disney.
