Agatha having Teen stay upstairs while she tried to con the new coven into giving her their powers is quite similar to her con with Nicky in the epilogue.
yeah i wonder if she always maybe intended on mentoring Billy after killing the coven? since she would’ve gotten her purple back after draining them and maybe she felt some loyalty to Billy for breaking her out of Wanda’s spell. or maybe she would’ve just dipped and left westview after getting power, i mean she’s the most unpredictable character in Marvel
Billy DID put Tommy's soul in that boy's body. He got what he was missing. That's why he left The Road immediately afterward, just like Jen left The Road immediately after she got what SHE was missing. Billy's question to Agatha ("Am I killing this boy so my brother can live?") was just the misplaced concern/anxiety of a scared teenage boy who doesn't fully understand his powers and what he's capable of. But, Agatha erased any doubt the audience may have had about that when she answered the question truthfully: "No, Billy. Sometimes boys just die." Billy telepathically located a boy who was going to die regardless and used that "empty vessel" to give Tommy a new chance at life. Billy didn't cause that boy's death, he just witnessed it. It also wasn't just ANY boy. Billy (and the show/writers) took care to find a boy who was not just bullied, but had nothing and no one; no family or friends or anyone to love him. That makes Tommy's future situation less complicated than Billy's (HE entered the body of a boy who was beloved by many, including his adoring parents).

something i’ve seen people be a little confused or even upset about is the idea that the road is ‘fake’ but that’s not the case. the road WAS fake. but after billy cast his hex, it was made real. alice still broke her curse, jennifer unbound herself, all of lilia’s healing, etc. a real version of the witches’ road was created from billy’s pure belief in it that his (and witches all across the world) idea of it came true. the trials and rules and even the rewards. he’s the son of the scarlet witch he has that kind of power.

i heard that there were rumours of a a wiccan show or movie coming and a scarlet witch movie. so billy and agatha’s story could continue in one of those as well
I have read comics since the 90s and I have always known Agatha Harkness as a ghost. Recently she got re-alived somehow (I don't know the details but she has appeared in some of my Marvel games) and I was like, "... this feels wrong." So there was something about her sacrificing herself, like we thought she'd have to, but not only cheating it some way but achieving the form I am familiar with that felt so right. If Billy ever does appear in a Young Avengers movie, I bet ghost Agatha will be non-stop roasting all of the teens from beginning to end.
You do not read comics since the 90s. At least not one with Agatha because she has been a ghost a total of 2 times, first time she got killed and resurrected herself almost immediately, second time she remained a ghost in the scarlet witch run from 2015-2017 until she got resurrected. Whatever comics you were reading clearly didn’t include Agatha since she was a ghost for a couple minutes…….
We got our Tommy cameo. That actor will be recast in the future that’s why we never saw the face but mcu has not shied away recast for characters in the past lol though they should have done it for a main main character in tchalla . This episode we saw Billy place Tommy in a newly vacant body , the body of the boy that was being bullied and drowned unfortunately now has Tommy’s spirit giving us Speed.
There is rumor that a Wiccan series is in development. The search for Tommy will continue in that series if that is true. Joe Locke being cast as Billy Maximoff is not an accident. Disney is well aware of his popularity in the hit series Heartstopper, they are not going to end his character in Agatha All Along.
Disney is developing their young avengers team. Billy, (probably Tommy), Kate Bishop(?), America, Kamala and some side character I'm forgetting, are all part of that team so far
Yeah it seems like a sacrifice to appease her and that time she didn't kill any because her son didn't want it. Rio did say it like it was the usual deal when Agatha turned the mic on.
I don’t think “keeping her busy” was the idea. Death is a fundamental cosmic entity for the entire universe. She’s omnipresent. And can claim all souls from all planets across the entire universe. I think the killing of witches was symbolic to either appease Rio, or to siphon their magic to keep Nicky healthy enough to survive.
i believe the tell she is referring to is the shape , wandas hex was the same shape as the door. does that mean other witches have different shapes, when it comes to magic. AND Agatha saying she cant face Nicky, i think she knows she is the reason for her sons death Agatha steals witches power, she unintentionally was draining her own Childs power in the womb and that's why he died in her. and I believe Rio felt bad for her in this situation because this never truly happed to anyone like this before so she let Agatha have time with him.
Yeah. Probably the Drowning Boy scene will go on the Vision Quest. Maybe where Vision would look for the Young Avengers. And Billy would reappear at least at the end of Vision Quest. But VisionQuest isn't in the MarvelTV lineup for 2025. (The filming was said to start in 2025 though). And damn I think we also got Hulkling already. Billy's boyfriend already has the tells. (His fascination of Aliens and his Sleeveless outfit). Though he's Eddie not like the og name Teddy.
also if you watched Doctor Strange and What If, magic ppl (sorcerers and witches) they can manipulate their astral body and in What If ancient one came back as spirit to warn Strange of his other self. I think it's not far fetch the only characters that can back to live in MCU are magic users.
As a comic reader I can tell you you’re partially right, there are both magical and scientific ways to return to life in marvel but the magical ones are the best. For example mutants used a combination of their powers and a machine to resurrect people but in order to do that the person needed to be ACTUALLY dead so, long story short a couple mutants got “cloned” instead of resurrected and had to deal with the fact that they weren’t the “real ones”. The magical way is the most reliable way to return to life in Marvel since it includes directly the soul and not biological/consciousness sciences and stuff like that.👍
To the point though. According the rules of the road that Billy created he wouldn’t have been teleported out if he hadn’t achieved his goal which was Tommy. So yeah he definitely did put his brothers soul into that body. Remember they were still under the ‘rules’ of the road.
Happy Happy Halloween Guys!!! Congratulations On The Wedding!!! Continued Blessings To You Both!!! Love All Of Your Reactions Especially This Show!!! I also Love Cody’s analysis of Everything you react to. 💜💜💜💜
It's kind of ironic that you guys released the finale of season 4 of Buffy last week because these last two episodes reminded me of that season. The 2nd to last episode was the big battle of the season and the last episode centered on the aftermath of everything that happened.
I’ve enjoyed watching along with you so much ♥️ I think Agatha has had to kill witches originally to provide Death with bodies to delay her sons death 💀 Rio took him on the day that they hadn’t killed witches 🧙
5:23 Agatha ironically forshadows the Westview coven as something necessary for survival as a witch. She cannot create food, like a green earth witch. Like Rio. Or even Sharon (as a gardener). She cannot heal Nicky, like a pink potions witch. Like Jen. She cannot divine when Death will return, like a yellow divination witch. Like Lilia. And she cannot protect him, like an orange protection witch. Like Alice. This shows that for all her power, Agatha, like all witches, _requires_ a coven. Nicky likely could have survived if Agatha forged a coven, instead of leeching and killing all witches she met.
Yeah if she found the right coven, the witches could have figured out a solution or shared their power with the child until then. She let the events with her coven and mother turn her into a sociopath unable to ask for help or bond with people.
You wanted them to come baack somehow... This was the theme in some ways. We were experiencing that loss and prayong for more time... just like Agatha dors.
The only thing i’m stumped on, is the song itself. So it was made up by Agatha to take Witches powers. But what about Lorna Wu’s version of the Ballad? Was that fake aswell? I’m so confused, and I’m definitely giving the season a rewatch to catch anything i may have missed. Besides that, i really loved this show! Definitely one of my favorites
Ok you do have to rewatch. We’ve already seen that Lorna thought the road was real and tried to open it with her concert and the reason she made her version was as a protection spell in order to protect Alice from the curse.
Since Christmas is coming soon, i'm hoping you guys react to Better Watch Out (2017). Pugapillar reacted to it a couple years ago and he would be the first to tell you to go into it knowing absolutely nothing with the only thing you need to know being that there's a mid credit scene
Okay but now I really want to know what happened to Lorna Wu. Originally it was assumed she died on The Road....but now we know The Road isn't real so....did Agatha kill her?
It was really cruel of Rio not to wake Agatha up to say goodbye to Nicky. And who knows, maybe when Agatha sensed Wanda’s magic after creating Hex maybe the wanted that reality warping powers to herself to create Nicky again
I don't know if it was cruelty or mercy. She saw how much pain Agatha felt at the prospect of losing her son the first time and maybe she didn't want to force Agatha to see him go.
Ok this is my take. Maybe at first Wanda didnt know how she createdbthe Hex, jut ince she was aware of it she kept up the act and hurt innocent people, all so she wouldn't have to really deal with her grief. Billy didnt know he did it until the very end. It was a total accident. I'm still not sure how he manifested specific trials for each witch or how he got Agatha's mother's spirit to come forth and possess her. The poison, the jam session, the tower, the grow lights. He's 16 how did his mine come up with all this? I will say eveb though it was said, maybe Agatha draining the witch was how she was keeping Nicky alive as well. He seems to have more energy, color to his face after Agatha killed some witches. The one time she doesn't, he dies. Just a theory. Now using the songs after that, she deserves ever bit of death afterwards. Now knowing she could have controlled it and not killed witches, just take enough to survive.
No you’re misreading Billy’s power. Billy like Wanda has special magic that differs from other magic users in marvel, without specific spells or developing skills and individual powers they can just will whatever they wish into existence. Billy’s “mind” didn’t do everything that you stated, the only thing it did was manifest the road, he created it from everything he learned and it took the form of his personal likings but that’s it, he didn’t summon Evanora neither did he poison the witches, the road did that. The road creates trials based on the witches that walk it in order to test them and their knowledge of the craft, that WAS initially a lie made by Agatha but it became reality after Billy created the road.
@dannysoncin9473 Then how did any of the rest of it happen? I've seen on other people's breakdowns that this was all subconsciously done. When Jen said to Billy that Agatha traded Nicky for the Darkhold that's what she saw in her hallucination, but that's not what happened. Were the rules made up as Agatha was explaining how the road works? Is that how the trails happened? I still don't understand subconscious or not why Billy would make something that could or would hurt him.
@hillbaby02 Agatha wasn't making up the rules on the spot she has described the roads inner working for many centuries in fact it was Lilia who said there would be trials at first, Agatha just clarify one trial per witch rule. The Darkhold scene is not literal just like Lilia's scene where she "saw" her teacher's corpse and Lady death behind her was a metaphor to describe her being unable to save her coven from illness, Agatha's scene described that, while she wished to have Nicholas, she instead only has "Darkness" the Darkhold is a metaphor for her evil and power hungry nature, it's not difficult it's literally a basic metaphor.
I think the only reason AGATHA killed so many witches was because Rio WIC collect the bodies to her son sometimes and when he stopped lowering witches for his mom to kill Rio showed up
Such a tragic character. She really loved Nicky. But she was really bad I guess. She killed so much people before, during, and after him. Shit. But I love her. xD
Hopefully Kevin Feige reassigns this to Schaffer after what happened with multiverse of madness with raimi. Consistency and respect of the characters and story being told had impact ! Mom is a decent standalone movie but if you look at it with the rest of the story it was a travesty and they 💩 on Wanda ! Justice for mf Wanda character assassination !
I agree wholeheartedly. Except for Raimi. He didn’t write the script, Michael Waldron did. _He’s_ to blame, not Raimi. Raimi signed on to shoot a horror movie. And then Feige immediately forbid him from making one, despite Raimi being a legendary horror director. Raimi was just as screwed over as Elizabeth Olsen/Wanda was.
I have to disagree. I feel like the show was a complete novel and masterpiece. It’s nice to have a work of art stand on its very own and be complete as it’s full ride. Nothing more was needed 🙂↕️
i just figured it out, she wasnt killing witches for fun, she was doing it to distract Rio from taking Nicky, no deaths Rio found Nicky , making it even more tragic
Someone else pointed that out but also their magic was keeping him alive longer. He was sickly. Then that day when he didn't want to kill the witches, he got too sick and Rio came for him. So sad
This is incorrect. Agatha had been killing covens of witches long before she had Nicky. And she continued to kill then for centuries after he died. Death is a fundamental, universal concept. She’s omnipresent everywhere where there’s life in the universe, and able to claim multiple souls throughout the entire universe at the same time.
@@arc7375 couldn’t both be true? She continued to kill witches thus giving death her bodies and also extending Nicky’s life. Then continued again afterwards

Agatha knew all along.
I wonder if Agatha killed witches to keep death busy to stay off her son like she did Billy because they did keep moving and moving.
AND Agatha saying she cant face Nicky, i think she knows she is the reason for her sons death Agatha steals witches power, she unintentionally was draining her own Childs power in the womb and that's why he died in her. and I believe Rio felt bad for her in this situation because this never truly happed to anyone like this before so she let Agatha have time with him.
that's why he always looks sickly
Love the songs are on iTunes :)
Thanks!
Thanks so much! We appreciate it! ☺️
Cody & Sergio, supposedly a Speed aka Tommy and Wiccan aka Billy ( with Agatha ) series is in the work along with the Vision Quest spin-off.
I also would have liked to see more back story from the Salem 7
Imagine how furiously jealous she was to discover some up jumped witch who just CREATED her own children.
And then she went & took a liking to one of them.
Literally wrote the same!!
What if she did the same?
I think Agatha did the same, but in a different way. She literally said, she made him "from scratch", no circle or spell
also if you watched Doctor Strange and What If, magic ppl (sorcerers and witches) they can manipulate their astral body and in What If ancient one came back as spirit to warn Strange of his other self.
The magical way is the most reliable way to return to life in Marvel since it includes directly the soul and not biological/consciousness sciences and stuff like that.👍
I'm emotional that it's over 😭❤
right 💗hope theres more seasons to come
And now Jen has actually walked “the road”
In the comics, Agatha was also a nanny for the Fantastic Four when Franklin Richards was young.
not Agatha being a ghost now🥺 and Tommy is found, hope theres more seasons to come😍
It's kind of ironic that you guys released the finale of season 4 of Buffy last week because these last two episodes reminded me of that season. The 2nd to last episode was the big battle of the season and the last episode centered on the aftermath of everything that happened.
Jen called Agatha "Witch Killer" many times, so that is why
I’ve enjoyed watching along with you so much ♥️ I think Agatha has had to kill witches originally to provide Death with bodies to delay her sons death 💀 Rio took him on the day that they hadn’t killed witches 🧙
At the end where she says..Let’s go find Tommy.. I wish they would’ve got her to say..Let’s go find Toby
Honestly, outside of loki s2 ending, this was the best. I may like this more honestly.
You wanted them to come baack somehow... This was the theme in some ways. We were experiencing that loss and prayong for more time... just like Agatha dors.
I wanted Agatha to suffer, the spirits of the witches coming back to get their revenge on her. But I can't always win. 😂
Loved your reaction.
I LOVE JT
I can't wait till we see Tommy.
So, a recent leak, by a reputable source, has said that they're giving Wiccan his own show about finding Tommy.
I suggest you go rewatch the previous episodes. We’ve already been told that she died on tour in a hotel fire which was caused by her family curse.
She knew agatha won't say goodbye and accept his death and instead keep begging for more time. Death probably doesn't want to witness that
@@AlexanderWandering yeah I know but it is cruel from Agatha’s pov
The Exorcist (2016 - 2018)
Heard it’s a good show!
@@thehorrorbandwagon Yes ) 🥰
And now, June will go off to meet with another team that’ll need her help. A monstrous team called, the midnight suns.
I think the only reason AGATHA killed so many witches was because Rio WIC collect the bodies to her son sometimes and when he stopped lowering witches for his mom to kill Rio showed up
Ghost Agatha looks like Michelle Visage lol
Such a tragic character. She really loved Nicky. But she was really bad I guess. She killed so much people before, during, and after him. Shit. But I love her. xD
Jac Shaeffer: Death is immutable.
Jean Grey: Bet.
Yeah I liked the intentions but this is a comic book universe dead people return every Wednesday….
i want a 4 episode WICCAN show. now!
Raimi was just as screwed over as Elizabeth Olsen/Wanda was.
i think agatha killed all those witches to distract rio
Why did the first witch kinda look like Sharon 👀
