    • @carlojoseph5858
      @carlojoseph5858  4 роки тому +3

      Dish soap can often leave what people call "water stains" on certain fabric or carpet seats. I explain in the video why it's best to use an all purpose cleaner. Or specifically a shampoo for car interior.
      Dish soap can be used on some surfaces. But you get better results with an APC.

    • @carlojoseph5858

    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I was wondering if you could share how to get rid of gum stuck between the seats?

    • @carlojoseph5858
      @carlojoseph5858  3 роки тому +3

      Normally I'd just go about steam cleaning it. Because it is so sticky. However when I don't have steam I use goo gone (automotive) for those sticky gums and food situations on seats.
      I have a video where I reference the goo gone automotive in this video - ua-cam.com/video/RlHtIbmD-SI/v-deo.html

      Ice helps make the gum hard and easier to get off

    • @Ender3Me
      @Ender3Me 3 роки тому

      Use RUBBING ALCOHOL and a toothbrush to scrub the sticky away after peeling as much of the gum away as possible. Ice will make the gun hard enough to pull off with tweezers or needle nose pliers.

    You said the purpose of the steamer was to get the salt out. But I don’t quite understand why you steam the seat if there is no salt there. Can you please explain?

    • @carlojoseph5858
      @carlojoseph5858  3 роки тому +1

      Good question! - I meant that steam can help get salt out of carpets\cloth in general, if you check out my channel I have a video specifically for salt removal techniques with and without a steamer on car carpets. In this video I just use the steam as an 'extra' step to help disinfect the seats further as it also kills 99.9% of germs, makes them smell fresh and new and not to mention it helps in the stain removal process. Hope that helps!
