I had to come back to this video and say OMG this shiz really works!! Back seat was damaged by 19 months of kids eating, drinking sodas, milk shakes, gum, chocolate, blood (nose bleeder), barfx5, dog hair, urine, poo etc. It was the worst! Professional interior guy was going to charge over $650 just to clean the back seat, never mind the head liner! This solution + 3 hours later with a shopvac and hot water bottle got the job done and it looks brand new!!

This is a better option, if the seats are in good shape, than $20 Walmart seat covers in the front and a bed sheet in the back. If any of the stains are ink, you want to make sure you get all of it sucked out. You can take a towel and press dry to make sure when wet, you will set lots of ink on the towel so use an old work one. Had to use full strength OXY on some really hard spots. Great mixture. Turned out great. Used the Hoover powerscrub50 hose attachment. Great video win as usual. Looks brand new.

😳 My car is seriously an embarrassment of how dirty it is. I don’t even want to mention the type of car I have most would say they would even take off their shoes 😂.
I was looking all over the place for the oxi clean with no luck 😔. So instead I did the
Yellow bottle “easy off” and it certainly took off stains along with the alcohol, and dawn 3x strong. I am shocked wish I would’ve had the machine you have there to help it ease up since it does bring the dirt up I have to dry it with towels to bring it out.
    Thank you so so much!!
I think you’re saving me lots of
    $$$.

Ether will remove stubborn oil stains like olive oil. Starting fluid is mostly ether. It comes in a spray can and is available wherever automotive supplies are sold. EXTREMELY FLAMABLE AND POSSIBLY EXPLOSIVE. Use in small amounts, outdoors, in well ventilated area and away from flames, sparks or any electrical switches that might be operated. That being said, I have used mixtures of rubbing alcohol, Dawn detergent and Shout and it works great, but sometimes does not get out all of the stain.

Nice job. I find that if you don't get all the soap residue out, the seat gets dirty really quick again as the soap attracts more dirt. Do you ever add any fragrance to it, lemon citrus etc. As well any experience in getting mice or rat urine smell out. Another whole series on mice, rats or now you are in a Florida.. snake repellent.

I used your formula on my daughter's filthy car interior with bad stains from makeup, food, and other unknown substances. It worked amazingly well and the seats are almost like new. I did use a shop vac, but modified the water application by using an inexpensive 1.5 gal. hand pump sprayer. I positioned the long pump nozzle just behind the shop vac's nozzle, then you just squeeze the trigger when you want water as you vac up the liquid by pulling all of them back. Worked like a charm, and was almost as easily as an extractor.

Another way is to just remove the entire seat from the vehicle and pressure wash it with a pressure washer. I sprayed Shout-Auto-Carpet-Cleaning-Foam on my seats (no scrubbing needed) before I pressure washed them and everything came right out. My seats are 19 years old and were completely nasty. They look like brand new now. I let them dry in the hot sun and even put a shop fan on them.

A couple points: What’s the yellow material on the shop vac nozzle and does it act as an agitator? Second, the video mentions nothing about the Oxy Clean that’s listed in your concoction ingredients but it sure sounds like you’re spraying something into that mixing bottle when you’re making it.

Worked awesome. Definitely SWEEEEEET! I just finished the front floor, 2nd row floor and the drivers seat. Needless to say the water was pitch black. THANKS FOR SHARING your knowledge base. A few months after I got my new truck, I bought a can of Rainmaker hoof dressing for my horse. Some customer must have previously opened it, because it had heated up and liquified in my truck and tipped over on the way home on the carpet. That was in about 2000.I own one of those Bissel "Little Green Machine"s. I have cleaned it many times, and it helped some, but that combination of waxes, oils and tars had melted right down in there. Of course the residue would always grab whatever dust and grit was around. Now I wish I'd taken a before picture, because THIS WORKED! on 19 year old hoof dressing! My helpful hint for those using this, is to shave off a bit of bar soap and put it in the tank of your extractor (not in the formula!) What that will do, is keep the extractor tank from filling up with detergent suds, where you'd have to keep stopping to empty it. THANK-YOU Sweet Project Cars. I just told a clerk about your channel & this formula and the headlight trick, as well.

Don't know about the spray because I haven't tried it yet, but the key to really getting carpet stains out is that extractor or shopvac.
