This video was so great thank you. Not just the shopping part but the follow up after with what you could make with the things you bought, that was really helpful. I think dried beans or bags of rice/quinoa is something I find that’s economical & goes a long way. Thanks again & anybody thinking about doing the group coaching- you should do it as Michele is so great to work with & a wealth of knowledge & information to make your goals doable.
I would have to spend $15 to get to a discount store, still the tips here are invaluable! A combination of growing my own veggies, gleaning from neighbors who regularly share excesses of fruit from their trees, eating out far less (cooking great meals at home and inviting friends over) and just being intentional about shopping are definitely game changers! Thanks for another wonderful video. Between your cooking videos, private coaching and upbeat attitude in life, my trajectory towards healthy/happy living and eating has been greatly impacted! You’re the best and I bet your mom is so proud of you!!
Hi Therese!! Great tips too. All of it working together, doing the best we can with the season we are in 🥰 I’ve been thinking about you and wondering how you are. So great you commented. Thank you so much for you kind words🥰
Such an incredible and helpful video! My husband and I have been plant based for 4 years and when we were first married (and living off barista salaries) our grocery budget was $50-$70/week and now I’m spending $100+/ week. I bet with some conscious choices - inspired by you! - I could cut us back down to our “just married” budget! Thank you!!!
We used to buy almost all organic produce, but prices have just gotten too high to sustain that practice, so now I use the "dirty dozen" and the "Clean 15" as a guide, and it's really helped. I was excited to see that your Winco has an organic section. I will definitely check out ours to see if it does, too! Thanks for the great info!
Thank you for this video it is very helpful. Could you talk in a future video about how to stay on track while on vacation? It would be a great blessing to hear your experiences and suggestions. Thanks
For the last four months I went on the Keto diet and lost 50 lbs and reversed my type 2 diabetes to where my recent bloodwork showed all my numbers are back to normal ranges. But long term I believe a Whole Foods plant based lifestyle is the best for me going forward to keep that health I have gained back. I enjoy the enthusiastic way you present the lifestyle that changed you forever.
I really loved this style of video. It was so helpful! I wish I had the budget for your coaching program. I know how amazing and helpful your programs are.
Yes it’s definitely all relative to where we are in the world. But I think it’s fair to say prices are higher than they have been all over the place. We do the best we can where we are😊
Hi Riekie, check out this video for my bread: ua-cam.com/video/lql0rL8NtRI/v-deo.html Also, I have delicious Banana Bread recipe! Try it out and let me know what you think - ua-cam.com/video/ltJeNlcGBO4/v-deo.html
Excellent budget video Michele. My nearest budget store is Lidl. I always have a meal plan and the shopping list is based on that. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Michele & family.
Great video Michele! I'm not sure if you have tried making quinoa wraps before, but I just tried them and they are really good (I actually don't really enjoy quinoa in it's normal state!) That's definitely a $ saver and definitely more nutritious...a win win 🥳
Is it necessary to get organic produce when it has thick skins like bananas and avocados? I never thought it was? Yes, organic berries makes much more sense. I personally have less than you have spent to spend on my family's food so I do do most of what you suggested, but thanks so much for doing this video. I'm sure you have helped lots of people. 😊
Hey Anna, yes totally thicker skinned produce can be bought nonorganic more so than a berry for example. If I can get organic I do, I can tell a difference in taste. But if it’s not available or too expensive, then yeah I do the same and get thicker skinned procure nonorganic. Good for you for making that dollar stretch!!
Nice! Just went through there on my way back home to Sacramento from Yellowstone. I'm really enjoying your content! Great quality and very inspiring. Preparing to begin my WFPB lifestyle ☺️
You go girl!!!!! I’m always Sceptic about the bulk items .. some people don’t use actual scoop etc !!! I guess you have to do what you have to do 😉😉😉 love how your so honest ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ and sweet ❤❤❤❤❤❤ chat soon say hi to photo pro 😁
At first I was stoked for this video and store, but after all that you only had one dinner idea. Smoothies are not meals for a whole family, they're snacks or maybe breakfast at best. This absolutely isn't enough unless you have a very well stocked pantry to base most of your meals. Also weight loss is not a good focus when this is not enough calories for 4 people. I really liked your channel but this video is a miss for me.
There were wraps, sandwiches, soup, potatoes, and a pasta dish. All of these can be sustainable hearty choices for dinners and lunches. Sorry it didn’t meet your expectations.

Thank you Vicki! I’m so glad it was helpful. Yes, totally agree with dried goods👍👍
Thank you for your kind words as well🥰

Exactly. I use that to determine if I can’t afford all organic👍👍
I Love your videos . 👊🙏 great work
Thank you!
I have a winco right next to me and I definitely am not utilizing the bill section as much as I should thanks for the tips!
Awesome! Definitely check it out☺️ thanks for watching!

Hi thank you for your kind words. Absolutely! I’m going on vacation very soon so o will share how I do it😊
Girl I was at the bulk barn today and all I could think of was you. I must say the bulk fry items definitely way less ! Thanks again your the best .❤
Haha! So glad you saved some money 🥰
Very helpful tips for someone like me deciding to go vegan but not knowing how to shop right. Thanks Michele
Hi Ronald, I’m so happy it was helpful. Good luck on your journey☺️

Awesome Ronald! Good for you. I’m glad you are giving it a go👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is a great video thank you Michele 💜
Thank you Jess❤️
Winco is cheaper in my eyes. I don’t go there a lot but I need to, it’s just right around the corner where I live.. thanks for sharing..
I know right? I was the same but have started going more and more.
Some orange sections would also be good blended in a dressing.
Yes absolutely!
I really loved this style of video. It was so helpful! I wish I had the budget for your coaching program. I know how amazing and helpful your programs are.
Hey Dyanne! I’m so glad this was helpful. Thank you for your kind words😊
Wish we had stores like that here. That's a lot of groceries for 50. If only our store was. But we have a small store.
Great video !
Thank you Janet 😊
Very helpful tips😍
Thanks Monica!
Super helpful, Michele!! Thank you so much!
Thank you Jen!
Prices in USA are still quite reasonable. Sure that haul would be double here in Canada 🇨🇦 Great video

@@veganmichele I just found a Winco here in Ontario. Will check it out.
There are still restaurants paying the assistant manager (not a tip position) as low as $13 an hour here in America.
Will you please share a video for your homemade bread?

Wish I could join the group but I’d miss most of it because I work Tuesday through Saturday and a meeting on Sunday’s.
Hi Leah, we will be meeting once per week on Monday’s for the duration of the six weeks😊
Do you have a bread recipe/ video? I’ve never baked my own bread and would love to start!
Hi! Yes I have a few:
