    As is the norm, another very informative and helpful video. White is something I've always been a bit sub-par/lacking in the saturation department. This video has made a real difference in my future practice. Definitely gonna break out some of my Reelskin n get to practicing. ✌️🇳🇿🤟

    I think white is the hardest to saturate and fill in the pigments and its the one i practiced the most, is it cause of the pigment solution i used to make the thick ink to make it more flowy idk, but white on black is much easier and a breeze, thanks for the video Sensei

    I try not to pack white. Usually use it for highlights with a round shader or liner even. White is sneaky as well. It likes to brighten up after a few mins. I kinda hit it then go somewhere else then come back.

    Can someone tell me if as a tattoo artist do you use wet or dry paper towels when cleaning the skin? Do you dab or do you swipe? What’s best?

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  Рік тому +1

      It would really depend on the situation. Every tattoo application process is different. Generally the rule of thumb is when the tattoo is being outlines or first applied we will dab with a dry paper towel.
      As the tattoo is being done and we have a good foundation or are finished we can wet wipe to remove any excess ink and or stencil if needed.

    Love your technique. Yesterday I attempted to pack white. Used a 7mag needle, now my stuff came out horrible. Yes, I know its about my technique. One of the issues I was having, was that while I didnt apply much pressure, the needles would get stuck in my pore holes. So how do I hold my machine? Straight down or slant it a little?

    • @Airbornrice
      @Airbornrice Рік тому +6

      Hey! Licensed artist here, you always want to hold your machine at a 40° ish angle, never straight up and down. If you’re having trouble with “knicking” the skin, try adjusting how far the needle is sticking out of the tube!

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  2 роки тому +2

      That is a great question!
      I think it would depend on what you wanted out of your setup. What style of tattoos will 1 be doing? What sterilization process do we want to take? What do we want our process to be? These are some of the questions I asked myself but to sum it down I would say some great machines to look into are the CNC Q1, CNC Q2, the CNC X-WE Plus, the Mast Tour Pro, the InkClaw Dagger, the Neuma 4 is also outstanding. All of these machines are awesome and I can leave links for you below so you can check them out on your end. Let me know if you have any questions along your way.

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  2 роки тому +1

      That is a new and great question!
      I would say what naturally comes to my mind is the location of the scar, the curvature of the scar, size, etc. All of these are variables I would consider when picking out a needle because I think every scar would require a different needle and approach.
      It is really fascinating to think about but is a bit difficult to answer outright as there is much to consider.

    Hi! I’ve got an issue with white, it dries very quick on my needles (after 1 or 2 lines) so I’m not able to apply the color after that. I use it for small highlight, usually with a 7RL. I use white from eternal ink but I’m pretty sure I had the same problem with an ink from “world famous” so i think I do something wrong? Anyone can help?

    • @venomx4093

      Did your Eternal brand actually come from a legit reseller or from Amazon? It's possibly fake if it wasn't from a legit seller. Try adding a drop or 2 of water to the white to thin it some. I use Eternal and Radiant colors, but I found an awesome white from Viking Inks.

      For me it works when I trace the stencil (on the fake skin) with a coloured pencil (maybe a kinda soft pencil would work too), it needs to be blunt. It pats the stencil really well onto the silicone. When that doesn't work maybe you need to freehand one with a sharpie. You can cut the end of it to make it work like a fountain pen

    • @ripper9112
