I'm so glad you mentioned war eagle spinnerbaits, that's got to be one of the most durable spinnerbaits ever made, with the exception of the original terminator titanium wire spinnerbaits. What people might not know with those war eagles is, when you catch enough fish the wire will get a little wobble where it goes into the head of the bait....that extra little wobble will keep that spinnerbait running true no matter how bent up the wire gets. I've never broken a war eagle, but I've never tried to boat flip a 5-6lber...usually when I replace that bait its because the skirt got so chewed up there's almost nothing left.
Hey Ben Fantastic informative video on spinner baits. I have a love- hate relationship with the MB V 9. Great action beautiful design but I've had the wire fracture twice. The fish hit it like a ton of bricks and were very close to boat The commentary about the rods needing to be different for s/b versus Chatterbait makes perfect sense. Funny how rod companies label them interchangeably.
Great breakdown Ben. Apache was flat wrecking them for me last month at roosevelt. Thanks I love the breakdowns. Can you do a comprehensive jekbait one?
I find these to be the best informational videos on technique specific applications. The drop shot video was awesome, as was the informative video you did on the lucky craft LV line of lipless crankbaits. Well done Ben.
Thoughts on using a P5 Super Destroyer for spinnerbaits? Trying to find a purpose for mine and already have an X-Bites for TX-rigs and finesse footballs
I know this an old video and doubt I’ll get an answer but does the sprinker tail come with the necessary accessories to attach it to the spinnerbait or so I need some more components?
Man I love spinnerbaits. My favorite are the war eagle and z-man power finesse sling blades. I really like a smaller profile spinner because you get both big bites and numbers.
Thanks for breaking down your spinnerbaits I love to fish a spinnerbait I love a lot of the points that you made most of the time I fish a single tail grub on my spinnerbait sometimes I will use a paddle tail but I like a grub because when the bass go to suck in to eat the bait it's more there for him to hold on too when you fish a spinnerbait with nothing on it I feel like they don't have nothing to hold onto that is just how I feel about it but I am not saying I am right but I don't think I am wrong
@@Roboworm99 i prefer under 10 bucks...I've tried the booyah culverts an I love those. But their like 10 bucks where I live ....I've never tried the war eagles ...so I may try them . Thanks
Caught my PB 7lb largemouth on the DEPS B Custom w/ rhythm wave trailer last weekend 💪🏻 I’ll tag y’all on Instagram. Appreciate you helping a brotha out!
I think it excels in off color water with wind to breakup the surface of the water. Add a white or chartreuse zoom tail, like Ben showed. You will get some fish. Good luck
this and the recent swimjig video are near and dear.... i know OSP quality as i run their spec2 blade jigs, but never tried their spinners. this video has changed this...***types in thehookuptackle in web browser and pulls out wallet***
This is very weird I was literally telling myself last night I needed to get some spinnerbaits to add to my small amount of spinner bait but good quality ones no one else is throwing an then boom the hook up makes a video about spinners lmao im def gonna go broke lol I think the hook up probably knows my name lol.
@@thehookuptackle_usa lmao yea I guess so anyway u can fix the fedex two day to deliver on Saturday cause for some reason they won't unless u do it. Thanks for the great baits.

Great info again... Gonna have to add some of these spinnerbaits to my tackle
Good information brother thank you!! 👍🎣
This is probably the best goddamn spinnerbait video ever made
I’ve done really good on the Gan Craft double willow and slow crawling at night in clear water. One of my favorite spinner baits

Sv3 definitely a confidence bait for me
My spinnerbait set up -Megabass Orochi xx Spinnerbait special paired up with Daiwa Zillion sv tw 6-3-1 ratio. Cheers from the California Delta.

I just bought a V9 to give it a try I love throwing a spinnerbait I throw the war eagle alot but that V9 is my new favorite for sure
I'm a new subscriber and man I've really enjoyed these videos. You guys are awesome! Thanks guys
Hey Ben, did I miss the V9 keeper mid or are you going to cover that in a future video?

Love throwing thin wire big blades and also small finesse ones. But I would love to see what the Megalo DoOon would do out here.
It would call all of them to it!!
Always putting out good videos!
Thank you for watching man!
When are you guys planning on having the Jackall dunkle 7" back in stock?
# Jackle Dooon !!!!
Ben
The web site says you are out of stock on the mibro Apache spinner bait? What the deal ?
Opinion on the jackall doooon?
Appreciate the videos!
The mibro willow blades aren’t on the website how do I get some??? Please!!!
I see allergy season has hit you hard my friend. Or was this filmed on 4/20? JKJKJK
It’s exhaustion 😜

Did you not include the best spinnerbait ever cause they are mostly out of stock?
Why not use the blade instead of the madbull? I feel like the blade doesn’t get enough love
