Thank you very much for watching.
one of greatest metal tracks ever made, Please take a look for the Sweden masters also Cult Of Luna- Echos you will never regret
Opeth- april etheral from royal albert hall
And the night and the silent water- roundhouse tapes
"Opeth, is like going on a joyride. You don't know where you're going, but you know you're going somewhere cool." Perfect analogy.
Opeth - The night and the silent water live
Album version
The roundhouse tapes live version is awesome.
LIVE VERSION LETS GOOO
These riffs inspired a lot of teenage kids I know to play the electric, myself included. Maybe on your own time try the Deliverance album remaster that Opeth put out. And for the channel, please try April Ethereal. I think it’s an astonishing opener for the MAYH album
For the hell of it... I gotta suggest Black Rose Immortal. Go BIG! 🤘😂
It's time for heir apparent!
He hasnt done that one yet? If not, then he is so in for a damn treat with that one, I still think its the heaviest Opeth song
This song is what made me love opeth, munching a bacon roll at sonisphere 2011 at knebworth and the opening riff brought me closer and closer to the stage 😂 Absolutely incredible weekend! 🤘
There is no points of brilliance in this song, all of it is utter perfection, truly. They are the pinnacle of metal, let alone anything technical. wnd to me, this is there best sing if all times to me, though I love all hey do
I love the analogy you made about tuning and horror movies 😂
As far as I know you haven’t reacted to Demon of the fall, or April ethereal. I know you didn’t like the recording and production of the first two albums, but you liked When from their third album. You should react to some of those songs.
He did demon of the fall

@@chaos5840 Thanks, I missed that video.
They played this as an encore last time I saw them and it was just as awesome as you would expect. Also, you can thank Steven Wilson for the mix.
YES! WE WANT MORE OPETH!
april ethereal or the amen corner next!!!
Wow, I did not know Anderson Dawes enjoyed Opeth!
I liked the horror movie analogy, totally agree... I would recommend but I dont know which you haven't listened... I would say the live version of the first 2 records
You need to check out the band Daylight Dies, start with Lies That Bind
Yes! Daylight Dies is sick
This might be my favorite Opeth song. Great groove.
You mention the mixing again and again with Opeth and Katatonia, which isn't weird at all since they're Swedish🙂
I dare you to find a single example of Swedish music (not counting death/black metal etc with deliberate meh sound) without amazing production quality😀
Us Norwegians make better black metal than them, but they've got us by the balls in every other way🙂
Go Sweden!
Really good song. Steven Wilson played a great solo in the documentary for this song: ua-cam.com/video/neoxGcvnMG0/v-deo.html
By the pain I see others!!! Еще раз прошу!
It's like a rough diamond!..
First heard this when I was 15 and holy FUCK this band changed my whole outlook on playing guitar which I started at 12. Early Opeth is so important to metal lovers. It's essential listening.
Opeth - Closure (Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire, London)
In my opinion, this is one of the instances, where the live version is vastly superior to the studio version.
Master's Apprentice... ;)
He just did it my guy , we can stop requesting
@@mercerfrey9427 he's talking about the spelling in the title
@@jotaroshinsuke thank you :)
Love 💞
And another thing, please do Throat of Winter please.
Standard guitar tuning is heavy enough.
It'a not about tuning or strings, it's about your groove.
First Opeth Song I heard back in 2004, (Was only 12 years old) I was blown away! Opeth are my favorite band to this day! I really hope you give In Mist She Was Standing, Opeth (1995) a listen. It's amazing! Sorry if I requested this already.
Forget it. He has some sort of paranoia to doing the first 2 albums cause it's less than top notch production..
I prefer orchid and morningrise live version
🤟🤟
Slugdge- salt thrower
Be'lakor- neither shape nor shadow
Rivers of nihil- subtle changes
Arcania-face in the mirror
Gojira- wolf down the earth
These song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
Last time I saw them live the guys behind me were screaming for the track all night.. we eventually got it too 😂
Appetence? What the hell lol
