Great video brotha, this is very good info for the community. I just got a hyper charger and ev connector. Looking forward to the long rides this summer and the ability to charge at higher amperage with the upgraded PL battery coming soon. Everyone who rides needs to get a hyper charger and good to know powerful lithium now has them for everyone….thanks for your dedication to our community Mr E✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾💯

This confirms it! I said it in my last video about this guy. Zero knowledge clearly you cannot cannot cannot put that many amps into a battery and expect it to last at all. I do not give a shit what this guy tells you.
Did you ever you the cells specifications sheet…? It tells you the charging rate… 🤦♂️ Did you even watch the video… You’re told exactly when you charge at this rate… 🤦♂️
@@mr.e_from_nyc haven't watched the video yet but dudes not wrong different cells Can charge at different rates also the bms has to be capable of charging at that many amps. I Can almost guarantee that battery should not be charged at 95amps
I rode to work this morning and it was 10 degrees (7.5 miles), and on the way home it started at 27 degrees. I stopped off and just got home. It is now 21 degrees.
@mr.e_from_nyc I bet they will 🥶🤣, I used a step down to 12v on my ride and connect everything to it as the 12v gives better heat output, I love them chargers what batterycells you using ampace?
Liion is not really designed for fast charging... I recommend to use my hybrid LTO systems. They can charge within 5min any weather, any time, 10 x more life cycle. Only suited for large and heavy ebikes. Nice compact chargers, mine is way bulkier and limited to 3kw nominal. I charge a 500wh 0 to 100% in 10min exactly so there is no way you can do that with a 3kwh battery... It actually takes 30min to charge a 72v45Ah from 0 to full. Now, if you ever want to push 160A charge, you're gonna have to use CAN com charger to be able to do controlled pulse charge. The other problem with this system is you have to use a powerful public charger, in Europe, this can be done at home. Watching you from France is a bless.
The BMS allows charge and discharge through it… this is a dual discharge battery and it has a XT60 connection for charging if the other connectors are already connected to the controller… 🙌💯🙌
45amps is plenty you don’t want to be charging at high amps all the time it’s horrible for battery health. If you need to do it every once and a while it’s fine but if you have the time you should charge at lower amps to save cycle life
@stephenseccafico9311 Yes I know but 45A isn't even 1C charge rate for most surron batteries. And usually the quoted cycle life rate is based off that so even then I doubt the cycle life will be impacted much
@ on a 45 amp hour battery 45a is 1c. Most manufacturers state about 200 less cycles charging over 1c even though the battery can handle it. Anyways it’s ur battery you can treat it how you would like it can definitely handle 100amps with good cells but it’s gonna cost you in the long run
Just curious but… Why say it’s horrible… ? Question for ya… is a 45amp charger charging one cell better or worse than the same charger at 45 amps charging 220 cells…?
Bro seriously you. are answering questions and showing the most. important things that is capable of assurating. Do you keep up the good work? Get more into the knit grit about the electronics. Also, if you can possibly do a video on finding a 96 Volt controller. in combination to use with powerful lithium's 96 Volt battery or if you actually even need a 96 Volt controller or if it's just by amperage there's still some questions I have about this. part of setting up a bike that is pretty hard to find conclusive evidence for my answer. Be awesome if you can make a video. on that topic. then maybe in a later date talk about the strongest motor that would be available first there on I like how that works as well. IDK I'm just rambling at this point.
ROTFL 🤣 Rambling is great at times… it’s how we can all learn… The bike with the teal colored wheels is running 96 volts… he’s using a far diver controller that works on 96 volts… It is a great topic for a video and I will be getting more into builds this winter… Please stay tuned… 🙌🙏🙌
Mr. E: Now you dont want to do this all the time. it's not the best for your battery People in the comments: You shouldn't do this to your battery! You dont know anything! Me: 🤦♂️
I’m 💯% not recommending this to be your daily method of charging… when I’m at home I can charge it at 5 amps at times… but in the road… like this cold day… and we don’t wanna stay out too long in the cold… He’ll yeah we blasting this sucker to 162 amp lol 😝
@mr.e_from_nyc 💯 I was born in Philly, ain't no way I'm standing outside during winter to charge for 2 hours. Thankfully I'm down in FL now, most we get is a cold breeze.
If it’s your only charge method yes… But it’s not meant be the only way you charge your battery… The occasional rapid charge is fine.. Remember the cell dictates the charge rate… And I’m using the P45B cells…
My battery performance was amazing… I’m rocking the Powerful Lithium’s R-Spec Elite edition which uses P45B cells in 27 degree weather… worked flawlessly… 🙌💯💪

@@Auvi_Amps just coz ur all charging from ev doesn't mean everyone's batteries can handle that high of charging. Also according to Mr.E this was history so obviously the other riders weren't able to charge that fast if they didn't have the same cells

How are you charging through the discharge? Did they splice in a qs8 on the charger? Or did they make an xt60 to qs8 adapter?
The BMS allows charge and discharge through it… this is a dual discharge battery and it has a XT60 connection for charging if the other connectors are already connected to the controller… 🙌💯🙌
So how long did that full charge take?
A few minutes if u have a 50ah pack u can get a full charge from a dead battery in 30 mins
I didn’t time the full charge… I just wanted to show the charging capability…
So as the video mentions 45A is not nearly enough to max out these batteries, so instead of needing to buy two will you offer a 100a version?
