Totally agree with you about wasps. I HATE it when people call wasps "bees" -- it's an insult to actual bees, which are some of the most beneficial bugs on the planet.

I quite like work and water. In my work, I use water 💧 I remember someone saying, "If you do something you love, you'll never work a day in your life..." It took me a while and a number of jobs, but I got there! I am blessed 🙌
And... I love prog rock! Double blessed. Mind you, I loved prog before I even got a job. I think I was 11 or 12 years old when that love of such wonderful music began.
Sushi is awesome, especially with sake. It is a bit expensive, though, so I don't get it as often as I'd like. Water is also great. If I'm thirsty in the middle of the night, a short glass of water is all I need; seltzer water helps me avoid indigestion, and I drink it throughout the day. The rest of the things you mention I agree with. That tailgaters-proof truck is hysterical--would love to have seen it in action.

Futbol is great. There is a reason it is the most popular sport in the world. I am a big fan. I am Argentine. Argentina and Brazil had the best soccer players in history: Maradona, Pelé and Messi. Two of them Argentine. Brazil has 5 world cups; Argentina 3; France 2, Germany and Italy 4 (but in these last two cases I would discount 1 since it is from the time near the WWII, where few teams played), England 1. I understand you if you don't understand it well. Clearly you're not going to be interested. But I will tell you about my experience with other sports. I was a teenager, 13 years old, I had never seen tennis. Until there was a great Argentine player (Vilas) I got hooked on watching games. It was the generation of Connors, Vilas, Borj, Anastase, Solomon, McEnroe. I fell in love with tennis and from there I watch a lot of tennis. The same thing happened to me with golf. I watched a couple of hours on ESPN once. I kept watching and I loved it. An excellent commentator helped understand the game. I think that if you get someone who will take you to see a couple of good games and explain the game to you well, I can assure you that you will like it.

That was wonderfully entertaining. I agree with all those things except for one and that is water. I absolutely love drinking water. It's so refreshing and I have often said that it is one of my favourite drinks. Now, as for the snakes, my vote would be to bring them back. They make me laugh every single time I see them ... and King Chucky needs them. He really does.
I am now closer to 60 than 59, I am 95% bald and I stopped being embarrassed about myself at least 10 years ago....so, in response to item # 6 on your list, I am proud to say that KC and the Sunshine Band rules!! I dare anyone to go out onto UA-cam, watch a couple of their live performances, and prove me wrong....so let it be written...so let it be done!
I am with you on many of these things. Soccer is boring, people should be able to recognize that differences in political opinions are usually differences in preferences or priorities and not good vs. evil, tailgaters are monsters who should all be drawn and quartered, and most importantly, wasps are the worst. I hate them. I love animals, I never even kill bugs, I'm the kind of guy who will put a spider in a cup and put it outside instead of squishing it - I don't even like killing mosquitos! But damn I hate wasps. As for death growls, I was with you for a long time, I couldn't stand them, but two things brought me around - I started listening to Leprous, and they use them sparingly enough that it wasn't a deal breaker for me and it started to get me more used to it. THen I saw Haken perform "The Architect" live, and Ross does the harsh vocal bit just for like 30 seconds in the middle of that song and live, it was so amazingly powerful, it really changed my perspective. They're still not my favourite thing in the world but I can enjoy music that has some harsh vocals/death growls now, at least. The only truly crazy thing on this list, and the most American thing on it isn't the soccer thing, it's the water thing. Scot! Your poor kidneys! Give them a break! Drink some nice cool refreshing water, please!
Great list! Totally agree except for… Cookie Monster vocals! I didn’t like ‘em at first, but clean vocals just wouldn’t work for Mayhem or Burzum or some other bands. Gotta growl!
Sushi is rice based. It has to have rice to be sushi. There's is many sushi's that is only rice. Being a long time Hawai'i family, 146 years now, we are very used to Japanese food I love inari sushi but that's just flavored rice, with maybe sesame seeds and shredded carrots, in a tofu pocket. In Hawai'i we just call it cone sushi. But I admit I hate any fish too. Just never liked fish. I also love water but the rest I'm right there with you! 8 out of 10 is pretty damn good to agree on. 😄
I agree with most of these! But I am admittedly a soccer/futbol fan. It helped that my son played for years so I came to understand the strategies and what not.

I was thinking about this. The new Opeth album has some really good music on it. The drumming sounds fantastic. Maybe they'll come out with a digipak where one disk is void of vocals. Everybody is happy, maybe. 🤔🤣💣💥🤯😎

I have heard in the past that you need to drink a certain number of 8-ounce glasses of water daily. II normally don't drink much water but I have, on two separate occasions, tried to drink the recommended amount. Both times I got sick. Never again.
I know you probably already know this Scot but that Mt. Dew ain't healthy. It sure tastes good though. I used to drink it all the time before I got that "Dia-bee-tus". Have you ever tried Sparkling Ice? That stuff is amazing. No sugar yet it's really sweet. And lots of flavors to choose from.

I used to love the NHL but I hate any sport where the outcome is decided by penalty shots. The World Cup was decided that way a few years back. Settling a championship on a guess right or left is terrible.😊

That was wonderfully entertaining. I agree with all those things except for one and that is water. I absolutely love drinking water. It's so refreshing and I have often said that it is one of my favourite drinks. Now, as for the snakes, my vote would be to bring them back. They make me laugh every single time I see them ... and King Chucky needs them. He really does.

I am with you on many of these things. Soccer is boring, people should be able to recognize that differences in political opinions are usually differences in preferences or priorities and not good vs. evil, tailgaters are monsters who should all be drawn and quartered, and most importantly, wasps are the worst. I hate them. I love animals, I never even kill bugs, I'm the kind of guy who will put a spider in a cup and put it outside instead of squishing it - I don't even like killing mosquitos! But damn I hate wasps.
As for death growls, I was with you for a long time, I couldn't stand them, but two things brought me around - I started listening to Leprous, and they use them sparingly enough that it wasn't a deal breaker for me and it started to get me more used to it. THen I saw Haken perform "The Architect" live, and Ross does the harsh vocal bit just for like 30 seconds in the middle of that song and live, it was so amazingly powerful, it really changed my perspective. They're still not my favourite thing in the world but I can enjoy music that has some harsh vocals/death growls now, at least.
The only truly crazy thing on this list, and the most American thing on it isn't the soccer thing, it's the water thing. Scot! Your poor kidneys! Give them a break! Drink some nice cool refreshing water, please!

Great list! Totally agree except for… Cookie Monster vocals! I didn’t like ‘em at first, but clean vocals just wouldn’t work for Mayhem or Burzum or some other bands. Gotta growl!

Sushi is rice based. It has to have rice to be sushi. There's is many sushi's that is only rice. Being a long time Hawai'i family, 146 years now, we are very used to Japanese food I love inari sushi but that's just flavored rice, with maybe sesame seeds and shredded carrots, in a tofu pocket. In Hawai'i we just call it cone sushi. But I admit I hate any fish too. Just never liked fish. I also love water but the rest I'm right there with you! 8 out of 10 is pretty damn good to agree on. 😄

@ if I can't quench my thirst with anything else, I find that actual water is best, but it has to be well filtered water; the water that comes out of the tap just doesn't seem to be right, no matter what town I'm in, hence good filtering is mandatory ..
