- Overview of the tools I've curated into my portable tool bag. This bag has served me well, but isn't set in stone! Maybe there's something here that you'll be able to use in yours!
Thanks for watching!

Good example of universal McGyver set off tools! With pair of shoelace You can build a helicopter 😅👍
Thanks! I've actually added a bit of string when for a makeshift plumb bob, so that chopper is on the horizon
Bosch 12V Flexiclick System. Without an attachment, you can use it as a compact bit driver, but can also the drill chuck attachment if needed. Or Use the right angle attachment in tight spaces.
This an the Milwaukee multi-head driver are definitely up there - the Bosch being more compact, without the 'hand-guard' of the M12. Good suggestion!
I have the Bosch and love it. Amazing power for the size.
@@JeremyLabelle or if you just want a driver - Bosch ixo.. I haven't used the Ryobi but that little Bosch hung a lot of sheets of plywood (12mm ply onto 2x4s) in a 20x20 garage, the little champ that it is. I inherited a Bosch Chameleon from my late Dad so I'll get to comparing at some point.
Love watching a tool bag load out. The Milkaukee drill/driver is meant to be good. The one with the interchangeable heads.
Ah yes! I know the one, definitely not as common to see. Thought it may have been gimmicky, but will have to check it out, thanks!
Nothing really beats the M12 Fuel impact and drill set.
Most of my 18V is Makita but im heavily invested into M12 and its what i use 80% of the time now for general maintenance and such.
Headlamps. I keep one everywhere now and i dont know how i worked without them previously.
💯 on the head lamp. I've got one in my car, will add to the kit
A Hand drill sometimes called an egg beater. apart from the fact it needs two hands to operate it. The battery never goes flat. I felt reassured i carry a very similar bunch of tools on a just in case basis.
Ah yes, I've seen these before at flea markets. I've got a hand brace but only a couple bits (as a result don't use it much). A hand powered drill with a chuck would be great
Buy a 12-volt Milwaukee drill or impact driver. It will be more useful than this electric screwdriver.
The best small screw gun I ever owned and still owned after many years is a Snap on Screw gun. The one I have is over 15 years old and still has full power. I seldom use my drill motor or my other full size screw gun unless I am working with 2” or longer screws or tec(drill point) screws. You will be amazed.
This is one that probably doesn't make the rounds outside of auto repair. I had no idea Snap On even made power tools 🤯
Thanks for share, from Brazil.
Thanks for the tool-kit tour Jeremy, looks a good kit, I think I'd add some vice grips, a 6" combination square and a diamond hone for sharpening edge tools. I've been very pleased with my Bosch 12v Combi-drill - had it about 4 years and barely ever bother with my bigger Makita 18v for most jobs !
Great suggestions! I'm pretty sure I've got an extra set of vice grips to add to the mix.
Painter’s multi tool, I find uses for mine every day.
Purdy makes a folding one that is awesome.
That shoulder sling for the tool pouch is a good idea, I might copy that. I have a similar tool pouch and I get fed up with it hanging on my waist and dragging my jeans down! As for possible additions, I'd definitely include a 6" steel rule, a pocket flashlight and a magnetic pick-up tool. Oh, and replace those slip-joint pliers with Knipex Cobras - you'll never look back!
Ah! Good call on the magnetic pick up tool! and give the sling a go, I've certainly found it useful and more comfortable
Another vote for the Milwaukee 12v driver. Bosch also makes a good one but Milwaukee by far has the best tool selection for their M12 battery system.
Agreed with the tool selection of the M12 system
Dremel makes a compact, powerful, small cordless electric driver
I can dig it.💪👍🇺🇸
Good kit ! My latest small driver and drill would be Milwaukee 12 volt.
Thanks! That's two votes Milwaukee 👍
12v Bosch installation driver is the way to go, or for ultra compactness Makita 7,2v pen drill driver.
The compact Bosch driver seems to be as small as they come, but I remember seeing an 8v DeWalt gyroscopic driver with a similar form as the Makita
Driver suggestions: Milwaukee M12 Fuel SURGE impact driver -- obviously doesn't have the power of an M18 -- you're not driving a big hole saw, but it's more than good enough to run 4.5" screws no problem, and average lags with a bit of patience. The M12 Fuel Installation Driver is more expensive, probably not as good driving bigger fasteners, but comes with a *very* sensitive mechanical clutch, and a handful of helpful attachments of that 'you don't need it until you need it' type.
Awesome! Thanks for the suggestion, I've always liked the form factor of those M12's. It good to hear they still work well for the size of the battery... that three votes Milwaukee! I've been waiting for my original (blue) Ryobi drill to bite the dust, but it just keep on going!
I swear that second inner pouch must be like Mary Poppins' carpet bag.. stuff just kept coming out!
lol that little tech pouch can certainly hold a lot!
What kind of oil do you keep in your oiler pen?
Bosh 12v for the lightest with decent power, but Milwaukee 12v fired all of my other power tools, they outrun any 18v system I ever had, and who wants the weight of the bigger stuff anyways.
Bosch GSR Mx2Drive
How about a hammer and a flashlight. Always need a flashlight.
Actually I did have a hammer in there, but left it on-site to close up some paint cans! (it's back were it belongs now). Flash light would be a great addition, I have a few laying around, but not 'dedicate' to this kit, yet.
CTS861 I like this driver
Ok, this is definitely something I've not seen before! Thanks
