Having an extra 50' roll of house wrap laying around, and without needing to wrap a house, I decided to put it to good use - in a new way! Non-woven fabric known commonly as Tyke has been around for quite some time, and used in a multitude of different ways, so I figured I'd use it to prototype out a new EDC office bag! Title: This had me stumped with a stump made me chuckle thus you got my click 😂 thanks for the log 🙏
This is awesome
So you took a log, and turned it into... a log.

Where did you get the plans
What kind of oil do you keep in your oiler pen?
Hi Jeremy. What motor is used to open the door? Is there a step-by-step guide? Thanks.
A small linear actuator is being used to push the door open. There is no guide, but a one-page doc showing how to connect the actuator to the board from the supplier.
@@JeremyLabelle Can you share the link to the board?
Bosh 12v for the lightest with decent power, but Milwaukee 12v fired all of my other power tools, they outrun any 18v system I ever had, and who wants the weight of the bigger stuff anyways.
Hi. Whats the gap between long pieces?
Nice and simple. I'd probably also try and velcro the whole piece of wood to the floor or something.
Bosch GSR Mx2Drive
More irritating music, I’d rather not watch than mute 😂
Dremel makes a compact, powerful, small cordless electric driver
Very interesting to watch such a great idea. 👍😊🤩
Thank you 🤗
It's always good when you can zone tools, and organise them in their own area / storage - one stop shop !
So true, I'm hoping to apply this to other areas of my workspace too.
Thanks for the tool-kit tour Jeremy, looks a good kit, I think I'd add some vice grips, a 6" combination square and a diamond hone for sharpening edge tools. I've been very pleased with my Bosch 12v Combi-drill - had it about 4 years and barely ever bother with my bigger Makita 18v for most jobs !
Great suggestions! I'm pretty sure I've got an extra set of vice grips to add to the mix.
Good work Jeremy, as the saying goes "you can't see the join !" so it's a result, I hope your friend was pleased and grateful for your efforts !
They couldn't even see where! lol
That's cool, do you think you might in time add any further divisions Jeremy ? That was worth watching for the Star Trek clip alone, I enjoy your humour !
Glad you enjoyed the clips! lol I'll definitely have to revisit this projects, as something actually fell on the box and broke the wood! 😫
Thanks for showing us round your workshop Jeremy, looks like a great maker space, but relatable !
It does the trick
Nothing really beats the M12 Fuel impact and drill set. Most of my 18V is Makita but im heavily invested into M12 and its what i use 80% of the time now for general maintenance and such. Headlamps. I keep one everywhere now and i dont know how i worked without them previously.
💯 on the head lamp. I've got one in my car, will add to the kit
Promo sm
Simple and practical - thanks !
Glad it was helpful!
Painter’s multi tool, I find uses for mine every day.
Purdy makes a folding one that is awesome.
I loved the video, short but educational! <3
Glad you liked it!
That shoulder sling for the tool pouch is a good idea, I might copy that. I have a similar tool pouch and I get fed up with it hanging on my waist and dragging my jeans down! As for possible additions, I'd definitely include a 6" steel rule, a pocket flashlight and a magnetic pick-up tool. Oh, and replace those slip-joint pliers with Knipex Cobras - you'll never look back!
Ah! Good call on the magnetic pick up tool! and give the sling a go, I've certainly found it useful and more comfortable
I swear that second inner pouch must be like Mary Poppins' carpet bag.. stuff just kept coming out!
lol that little tech pouch can certainly hold a lot!
Looking good. Definitely need a fume extractor in there though. Sounds like a project!
💯 I might have all the components, except for the actual filter material!
The best small screw gun I ever owned and still owned after many years is a Snap on Screw gun. The one I have is over 15 years old and still has full power. I seldom use my drill motor or my other full size screw gun unless I am working with 2” or longer screws or tec(drill point) screws. You will be amazed.
This is one that probably doesn't make the rounds outside of auto repair. I had no idea Snap On even made power tools 🤯
Another vote for the Milwaukee 12v driver. Bosch also makes a good one but Milwaukee by far has the best tool selection for their M12 battery system.
Agreed with the tool selection of the M12 system
isnt this material problematic if there is a fire?
Good call! I checked on the company website (where I bought the tiles) and their products do meet certain fire rating criteria.
Nice bag Jeremy. I like the inserted pockets! And the old Singer machine… a classic!
Muchas gracias! The little pockets ad TONS of functionality. Have been using this bag and already have a few areas I'd be improving for version 2
That last tile looked crooked at the wall and was leaking adhesive.
Good eye! I didn't film wiping up the drips, but also added crown molding, so little gaps were not a deal-breaker
How about a hammer and a flashlight. Always need a flashlight.
Actually I did have a hammer in there, but left it on-site to close up some paint cans! (it's back were it belongs now). Flash light would be a great addition, I have a few laying around, but not 'dedicate' to this kit, yet.
Bosch 12V Flexiclick System. Without an attachment, you can use it as a compact bit driver, but can also the drill chuck attachment if needed. Or Use the right angle attachment in tight spaces.
This an the Milwaukee multi-head driver are definitely up there - the Bosch being more compact, without the 'hand-guard' of the M12. Good suggestion!
I have the Bosch and love it. Amazing power for the size.
@@JeremyLabelle or if you just want a driver - Bosch ixo.. I haven't used the Ryobi but that little Bosch hung a lot of sheets of plywood (12mm ply onto 2x4s) in a 20x20 garage, the little champ that it is. I inherited a Bosch Chameleon from my late Dad so I'll get to comparing at some point.
12v Bosch installation driver is the way to go, or for ultra compactness Makita 7,2v pen drill driver.
The compact Bosch driver seems to be as small as they come, but I remember seeing an 8v DeWalt gyroscopic driver with a similar form as the Makita
A Hand drill sometimes called an egg beater. apart from the fact it needs two hands to operate it. The battery never goes flat. I felt reassured i carry a very similar bunch of tools on a just in case basis.
Ah yes, I've seen these before at flea markets. I've got a hand brace but only a couple bits (as a result don't use it much). A hand powered drill with a chuck would be great
CTS861 I like this driver
Ok, this is definitely something I've not seen before! Thanks
Buy a 12-volt Milwaukee drill or impact driver. It will be more useful than this electric screwdriver.
Thanks for share, from Brazil.
I can dig it.💪👍🇺🇸
Driver suggestions: Milwaukee M12 Fuel SURGE impact driver -- obviously doesn't have the power of an M18 -- you're not driving a big hole saw, but it's more than good enough to run 4.5" screws no problem, and average lags with a bit of patience. The M12 Fuel Installation Driver is more expensive, probably not as good driving bigger fasteners, but comes with a *very* sensitive mechanical clutch, and a handful of helpful attachments of that 'you don't need it until you need it' type.
Awesome! Thanks for the suggestion, I've always liked the form factor of those M12's. It good to hear they still work well for the size of the battery... that three votes Milwaukee! I've been waiting for my original (blue) Ryobi drill to bite the dust, but it just keep on going!
Good kit ! My latest small driver and drill would be Milwaukee 12 volt.
Thanks! That's two votes Milwaukee 👍
Love watching a tool bag load out. The Milkaukee drill/driver is meant to be good. The one with the interchangeable heads.
Ah yes! I know the one, definitely not as common to see. Thought it may have been gimmicky, but will have to check it out, thanks!
Good example of universal McGyver set off tools! With pair of shoelace You can build a helicopter 😅👍
Thanks! I've actually added a bit of string when for a makeshift plumb bob, so that chopper is on the horizon
annoying music!
To, complicated
The home depot would be very proud of you
I like the way the table saw hides under the mitre box. Seems like a real good idea. tHanks for the video
Thanks! I've had it there a while now, it great to keep it out of the way but still accessible.
Happy New Year Jeremy. Glad to see garlic was included as a necessary vampire safety measure! Who luvs ya!
Happy new year! The things you collect, eh!?
I have garlic in my pocket. A guy tossed it at me last week and said " here is some garlic for you". I don't know why....I also don't know what to do when somebody tosses you garlic. So I put it in my pocket and my jacket is safe. Stay safe.
You did the right thing!
