This is our second van conversion, and after living in this van for a full year, we can finally share our five van build regrets. We understand that no van build is really perfect, but we hope that we're able to give you some helpful insight to consider when planning or building yours

Very informative vid guys. I didn't know that those fans had so many issues, as all the van builds I've seen so far have had the Maxx air fans. I'll definitely do my research before getting one now. Also thanks for the tip on the mattress, the missus needs a nice and flat bed or she can't sleep😅 Will definitely buy something decent.

Especially if you’re planning on living in it, that’s almost 3000 hours in one year lying on it, you want it to be comfortable

I don't think Max Air fans suck, I've owned about 20 of them. It sounds like you just didn't do your homework and bought the wrong fan without the cover. Just buy the right fan and install it and you'll be very happy.

No fan should sound like that. You can't really defend something that has the fly screen below the fan, unless you are saying they installed it upside-down?

We literally said in the video that we should have bought the one with the rain cover thing. However I still don’t think we would have been happy with that. Disregarding the rain cover issue, the fans themselves are too loud, they don’t blow as well as others in our opinion, and the buttons are all wrong. The point we’re making here is that people still buy the ones without the rain covers just like we did, and we want to let people know how extremely poorly designed they are.
We stealth camp alot (as others do too), and didn’t need two big clunky covers on top of the van. The Fiamma turbo vent does a much better job, and without the big clunky cover
