⁴ᴷ R62A and R188 (7) Train Morning Rush and Midday Action

Assorted 7 line action with R62A and R188 local and express trains. Here are some clips including a Manhattan bound R62A 7 Express coming down the flyover as well as two flipped R188 sets coming down the flyover with lead cars 7881 and 7859. Some clips were taken in early Summer 2017 (i.e. clips of R188s 7860 and 7871 leading).

Nightmare productions They are nearly identical , but the R188s are for 11-car operation while the R142As are for 10- car operations. Also, the R188 cars, and the R142A conversions that were part of the order, have CBTC for the 7 line automation.

The only reason why you see the R188 s is because the R62AS are going back on the Pelham 6 line for a replacement s of the R142as from the 6 Pelham line to the 7 Flushing line.

Don't look for no R262as on the 7 Flushing line because they have the R188s on the 7 Flushing line. Only the 4 5 6 S lines are getting the brand new R262/as.
