⁴ᴷ Morning Rush-Hour on the Flushing Line (7/27/17)

Some morning rush action on the 7 line. Manhattan bound 7 express trains reach quite high speeds compared to the Flushing bound direction.

I was in New York on that day for a vacation. It was cloudy & abnormally cold for late July. I'm planning to come back next weekend for a 5 day vacation. Think we can get sunnier skies & warmer temps this time?

Possibly lol. I also think the downgrade has a lot to do with it. Towards Flushing, a lot of the line is uphill.

The first train was the fastest and you could clearly see that the operator was taking full advantage of the downgrade. Can't tell what station it was taken at.

I don't understand the MTA's determining how and where timers are placed. Franklin Ave (Eastern Pkwy), 18 st, Nevins St, and Atlantic Ave (4 Ave) straight tracks; timers. 7 express on a curve at 46 st; The next bullet train.

Maybe it's the camera angle, but the spacing between the first car and the edge of the platform at 12:34 (right where the passengers are standing) looks very very close.
