Beginning of rush hour on the 7 line. We see two layups enter service, and plenty of door rushers delaying service lol. Enjoy the action =)
Oh how I miss racing down the stairs, jumping the last two steps and then catching my breath once inside lol. Due to COVID, I haven’t been on the train all year.

The one thing that always manages to confuse me is seeing people rush to catch one train when there's another one heading in the same direction sitting on the opposite platform.
To be fair, one side is the express, and the other is the local during the PM rush.
Also, one train can be leaving before the other & they want to try and be on their way as quickly as possible. So therefore, they try to go after the one that’s leaving first.

Why does the R188 have the same propulsion as the R143
Because both trains we're made by the same company. The R143 was built in 2001, the R142A in 1999. The R188 uses the same propulsion system because it was only logical for an R142A clone to sound identical.

@@BurnedNoodle it’s because if they use the wider cars they will be too wide and crash into signals and other equipment because the irt made their tunnels narrow so the ind and the bmt couldn’t use their tunnels
