If you had a shop/store selling restored panels you’d make some money, I know cuz I’d definitely would buy them ❤️
Your about the 100th person to tell me this, it must be a real problem with these door panels. It's to bad I threw away the mold thinking I'll never use it again.
Absolutamente
@@TheInkhousecustoms If you ever choose to make them, I’d be a happy customer. These panels in good shape can go for 400+ brother.
That's good to hear, I will look into that. Thanks
Will also buy🙏🏼 excellent work!!
Best Civic video I've seen for repair and upgrade interior and exterior. Hit that mark!
Thanks man appreciate the comment 👊🏾. I try to be straight forward and to the point.
Bro your work is on point fam your attention to detail is exceptional 👍🏾
Thanks man
Young man, you are so talented. You definitely know a lot more than I do, so I am subbing and looking forward to watching more of your videos. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. God Bless.
Thanks for the SUB!! It's one reason that I post the type of work I post, to spread the knowledge.
Amazing work, well done
@City Boyz thanks man
You need to start selling these , great work! If you could
Line up the back side to the bottom half where the door striker is, it would be 1000 percent perfect , hope you start selling these, I’d be interested in suede with red stitching
Yeah I get plenty of messages and comments about this, I only do custom builds so most of the time I only have the panels to fix and upholster so I really don't have the time to make panels for sell.
great work bredren!
@GRIP SET thanks for the comment, appreciated 🙏
I will try these steps for E34 and remake the door panel. Thanks for this video it will help me. Greetings from Turkey.
@Ahmet Bağcı your welcome for the video, be sure to use epoxy when backing your plastic parts, don't use polyester resins. Hope all goes well with your project.
@@TheInkhousecustoms Thanks for the suggestion, I had polyester resin in mind. E34 door panel is rotten and messy due to wooden material and some parts of water. That's why I try to remove the leather fabric on it and fix it with fiber I thought. Of course, I will make a mask with tape on wood. I'm going to apply fiber on it. Or I will repair the broken areas with polyester and reassemble. 😄
Epoxy has a better adhesive and flexibility property's. Plastics are hard to piece together rather fabricate new parts.
@@TheInkhousecustoms2Kg Epoxy 16$ I will try. 😄
excellent work
Thanks man 🤙🏽
Need my doors panels like this
Thanks man, i appreciate you. 🤙🏽
Fire 🔥
🙏
Wow! Thank you for the video and for these awesome ideas! How do I find the material to cover for the top portion that you repaired (All black leather-like material)? My EG door panels are grey and I would like to make them black, but don't know how to find that specific material.
I get all my fabrics from Texas fabrics and foam .com, not to sure if that fabric is still there tho.
Thanks ah million cuz my shit looks crazy now
@David Brady no problem fam, this one was a challenge but came out nice.
At 5:05 in your video what is the mix you do (the product you use) and the ratio of the mix . Between the fiber glass mold and the mixture do you add something to help after to unmolding.thanks you
That mix is body filler and fiberglass resin mix. It helps to make a stiff and flexible material. Mix is 1:1 with both fiberglass resin hardener and body filler hardener. And I did use a mold release and wax to un mold the part.
Looks amazing..What material did you use for the top part of the panel
@greenhornet923 I used regular 2 way vinyl
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks
Wow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🕴
What is the you mixed together in the beginning
@K&E Auto the mix was gel coat.
Very nice work! How much you charge to redo my entire civic interior to a theme something like this?
I wouldn't talk numbers in comments. It all depends on what is being done to the interior, which will determine the price.
@TheInkhousecustoms Well, for starters, I would like my doors done like that. They look similar in design to the 10th gen civic SI's. Also, the center console to match. Then maybe some carpet mats that would go with those doors and maybe leather seats that have the red trim to tie it into the rest of the car.
I understand not talking numbers in comments. How does someone go about getting a hold of you?
My Instagram @Theinkhousecustoms
Hey you should make sum and sell them I’d buy a pair if there not to much mine are in bad shape and people want to charge way to much for used ones
@For the Love of Honey that is a good idea, iv had alot of requests for these after they were made.. thing is I threw out the molds so I would need to get some good ones to mold off of.
What did you use to recreate the mold?
I used materials listed in the video description.
No vendes esos moldes?
Lamentablemente no

Amazing! Remember working in you hause is better
I agree
What island are you from
@Sprauvemente I'm here on St. Croix.
Would you be willing to sell those specific pieces, mine are done as well
@David Ocam Unfortunately those molds was tossed out when i finished the project.
@@TheInkhousecustoms I'm also in need lol, if you ever decide to make a couple more please let me know 🤙
Dude Awesome video thanks for showing your way, im about to start making these because the only option is carbon fiber with no arm rest and I think there needs to be options because there is a market for this I just drove 4 hours and spent 1/3rd a pay check for stock 28 year old panels.
I did have molds, just so happened to toss them, not knowing it's would be such a demand. But I thought about making them available, but realized that would be alot of work on my hands, and will end with them being expensive so I put out a how to repair video.
Im crazy enough I might make a mold and ship them to you. The ek civic market needs it.@@TheInkhousecustoms
@5:10 is that bondo and fiberglass reson to thickin it up, im about to ask 900 questions and go into production
Thanks for the interest, you should check out thus video aswell and see if it can help ua-cam.com/video/5lohG7q1G0o/v-deo.html
The body filler mixed with fiberglass resin.. helps to give the fiberglass a plastic like backing. I use this on mostly all my fiberglass builds, from enclosures to parts depending on weight saving necessities.
