The Beatles are still considered the standard for a band's success, even for individual artists, only a handful have exceeded their success. Imagine, pun intended, if they would have been able to stay together and still have time to work on individual projects the music we would have had.
George was deep and sensitive, but he was not always confident in his guitar playing. Even in the movie/series Get Back, he lamented not being able to practice like Clapton. Leon Russell spoke of playing piano while recording with George. He said they had played the same song multiple times, but George kept wanting to do another take. He finally asked George if he wanted him to play the same way or different ways on the piano, because his process was not to do so many takes. George said let’s do one more. When they finished, Leon played back a track. George said that one is perfect, and Leon told him that’s the FIRST one we did, George. Rest In Peace, George Harrison. You were greater than you knew! (Btw, I don’t know which cover this is, but I don’t really care. Good job, you two!)
Break into that newly released video footage of what was original Let it be movie named Get Back....they added Billy Preston...and to watch these classic songs which are legendary morph from infancy to genius compositions in less than 14 days is astounding...

Should react to the live version for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with Tom Petty, Prince and a few others giving their praise. I like that crap better than most, but I'm sure this one live event is one everyone is better for seeing.
George became a great writer and artist, the rest of the Beatles didn't want to do this until Clapton came in to play lead, George wrote Something which is the most covered song ever written.
Eric Clapton was asked by his friend George to play on this song. The other Beatles were surprised since no other artist had played with them on their recordings.
the pure acoustic demo version, with an additional verse , is pristine. > not the Vegas show version with strings. - which I think George himself helped set up.
That is Eric Clapton playing the guitar. George brought him in to do the guitar part. Many things were going on with the Beatles. George brought Clapton and Billy Preston into the studio. You have to watch this live on The Concert for George with Clapton and Preston.

Hey BJ you got it right on yes that was back in the 60s and George Harrison are huge in Florence on George Harrison was from the east from Hinduism and Buddhism
universal love for mankind
Christiana also
This is one of Eric Clapton’s most iconic guitar solos of all time
Clapton is shite
Check out his solo as he played this song on tour with George, Live in Japan. Phenomenal.
not Eric here
Great reaction guys. Beatles always remind me of my dad and grandad so it cheered me up. I'm a bit homesick at university. You two are great, I'm just gutted I can't watch your lives.
I agree... why the cover versions? Please react to the actual Beatles versions of their songs.
George... my favorite Beatle. My Sweet Lord and Here Comes the Sun are two great ones by George.
If you ever get a chance to go to Las Vegas the cirque du Soleil show “LOVE” the Beatles is a must see
I get a little worried about Beatles reaction videos, because a lot of times it’s not the right version or it’s a cover version. There is something off about this version. It’s frustrating because the Beatles original recorded versions are excellent. And the reactors miss out on what makes the Beatles so special
Mirasol Balaga Whatever this is it certainly is not the White Album original, odd.
I thought the same. George's voice sounded weird here. This isn't the remastered audio for sure
The accent is off. George sings the words turning and alerted with a Scouse accent on the original recording. It doesn’t sound right
It’s not them
This IS a cover! It's a Cover-Band called The Beats. Please look it (them) up on UTube. I applaud all of you! No one else in this comment section seems to know that this is NOT The Beatles! ☮️
Such a beautiful masterpiece from the genius of George Harrison. He was a gentle wonderful soul. 🎄🌺✌️
The Beatles discovered LSD to make this music. Pot was prevalent ...Thanks to Eric Clapton for layin' some hot tracks down, as well.
I love how this guy tries to understand and is aware of the time periods these songs are from, Nice work youngster
this song also came out during the time the Beatles were fighting with one another
You REALLY should watch this song performed on “Tribute to George”
You’ll feel it
One Of My Favorites
This was written by the 3rd best songwriter in the group.
you need to see Eric do this on the concert for George with George's song playing with him
Nice to see how much you guys get it....
Another cover of the Beatles? It's not to hard to find the original. They are the biggest selling musical act of all time after all.
The Beatles are still considered the standard for a band's success, even for individual artists, only a handful have exceeded their success. Imagine, pun intended, if they would have been able to stay together and still have time to work on individual projects the music we would have had.
There is no song The Beatles ever put out that's greater than this one.
Really?
In my humble opinion , you guys are the absolute best ! That's all . Peace.
You guys are interesting to listen to beyond just reactions. I enjoy hearing your perspectives.
Well said! Thank you!
First time hearing this and it sounded good i liked it dope reaction
Try listening to the original. This is a cover.
There gonna love this!
Kenny Lattimore also covered this one...❤
George's son Dhani is joined by Prince & a host of other musical giant to do a great tribute version. A must see.
Break into that newly released video footage of what was original Let it be movie named Get Back....they added Billy Preston...and to watch these classic songs which are legendary morph from infancy to genius compositions in less than 14 days is astounding...
While Eric Clapton's guitar gently weeps 😎🎸
There is a great live performance concert video of George and Eric Clapton playing this together, there is Ringo and Phil Collins on drums together with Elton John and Jules Holland on keyboards a host of other world famous musicians performing a must see.
Love is the Answer ❤
You all need to check out the dedication jam session(that included Eric Clapton Tom Petty and Prince who the the George Harrison part) they had after George had passed away.
George Harrison, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Ringo Starr. What a band. Should react to the live version for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with Tom Petty, Prince and a few others giving their praise. I like that crap better than most, but I'm sure this one live event is one everyone is better for seeing.
At that time it didn't get any better than Beatles and Clapton together! Still doesn't!!
George became a great writer and artist, the rest of the Beatles didn't want to do this until Clapton came in to play lead, George wrote Something which is the most covered song ever written.
this song lifts my fur. these dudes were so hauntingly good!
The Beatles help live it’s really good it’s different than the studio version hits different
This IS NOT the actual version. This is a decent re-creation but it’s not the Beatlea
It's a Cover-Band called The Beats.
Eric Clapton plays the lead guitar on this song
It's not Eric Clapton because this is NOT The Beatles...it's a Cover-Band.
Good Reaction Guys.
In any other Group George would be regarded as The Number 1 and a Genuis but he was in the only group in history with 3 Musical Genuises....and Ringo.
They were so popular that when they visit Adelaide in Australia 500.000 people lined the route from the 7 miles to the Hotel from the Airport..
