Your points on the platter makes me want to wait for the next version. Perhaps Pioneer will improve stability the acrylic connection with the platters.
So those slip mats due time they are going to wear out and I'm assuming they're going to have replacement which you're going to be coming out of your pocket almost probably the cost of assure sc35 needle. I'll sit back and let this play out
I'm going to make my own felt slip mats to fit it. It will last longer and will help with the stability issues raised in the video. Since they are thicker than the plastic mats that come with the controller, you will have way less "give" on the vinyl.
Hi there! I have had a Rev7 for about 2 weeks now and I have had an issue with marker drift when beat juggling. My marker starts at 12 O'clock and after about a dozen juggles ends up at 1 O'clock. This happens even with the instant scratch beat loop without a laptop plugged in. So it can't be a Serato issue. Have you noticed this same issue? Thanks!
its tough for me i do openformat and i dont know what to even called the other stuff but its more fixed bmp's if that makes sense so overalll a ddj1000 would work better for both but this looks sooo good im stuck lol
Numark should have never gave up. The ns7 was a good controller. They just need to make the controller lighter. Only reason I might move toward the rane 1 is that i can attach the tone arm adaptor so I can spin 45’s. The slip rings are a simple fix. Cut out a old slip mat and replace the rings
Nothing about this controller makes those cuts easier. If anything, the complaint that turntablists always had was that they couldn't get their cuts as tight on digital gear. Now that the gear is performance grade, we're blaming it for over-performance? :)
Man Pioneer knocked this one right out of the park. The onboard FX are amazing. It blows the Rane One away. Really love this controller.

Totally Agree With You Man.. I'm Kinda Bummed out now. But I have Rane One. So I'm Not in a Hurry. Maybe the RANE TWO Might Surface Also :D
Always a pleasure to be featured on The DJ Hookup!
Comment if you're gonna choose this over the RANE One. I'm curious. ⤵️
Great review - I opted for Denon sc6000ms as I wanted to get rid of the computer and have standalone option.
I watched someone cut a ring from a slip mat and that seemed to make the platter more stable.
How do u use the tone generator using the pads?
Wonder the same. Can this also be done on thr S11?
can you do that with just a S3 and no pads like the old school dj's
So what did he do to correct this isssue?

Numark own's Rane. and Denon (SC6000M). You can argue that they just rebranded and leveled up instead of competing with themselves.
You failed to mention that Denon had the motorized 3500, 3700 and the 3900s
Those aren't all-in-one controllers, they are players. I also didn't mention the SC6000/m for the same reason.
@@PassionateDJ you are 100% accurate, my apologies.
@@mike._.feliciano6782 no apologies necessary! Just clarification! Thanks for watching :)
Pioneer ddj rev10???
what are the headphones your using?
Audio Technica BPSH1 - it's a "broadcast" headset. All of the talking and voiceover was done through that little boom mic... not bad!
I’ve been seeing a lot of emphasis on scratching eight this controller. Would this controller be ideal for a House Music DJ?
No
This is geared towarded turntablist
@@djxcel23 good to know!! I have the Pioneer DDJ 1000 currently. I’ll just stick with that.
