Yeah that is why it's one of my favorite planes to fly. It can fly super fast and slow. I will have a video out this week of me following an RC powered paraglider.
@Qromer I don't recognize that lake. I live in Arizona but don't know where that is. Can you tell me what area that is? I understand if you want to remain incognito. I was just curious. Have a Merry Christmas, amigo. 🎅 👍
I am using 2200mAh 3S packs (very standard) -- it is used for both flight power as well as to power the video transmitter. I get 8 - 10 minute flights with this setup. By using the flight pack to power the video transmitter and OSD -- I get to see the flight pack voltage in my OSD. I hope that helps.
I think the AUW is listed on the STL download page. It is a light platform for the large wing area but is also quick. You get about a 10 minute flight with a 2200mAh 3S pack.
Whow! Pitch authority at that low speed is crazy!

This is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing..
Its been so long since I've flown and this gave me the itch to FPV again. Awesome flight and location :)
Thanks, glad I could give you the itch to fly again!
Terrific flying and filming, fellas. Thanks for the ride.
Thanks for riding along with us.

@@Qromer Thanks for the info, amigo. I'm a couple hours north of ya. That looks like a fun spot to fly. Have a Merry Christmas. 🎄

Great vid , 👍👍👍👍
Appreciate the thumbs up!
Cool video and just a standard save for a pro like you
I want to get into this hobby.
There has never been a better time then now. I hope you get in on it. Find out where some locals are flying and go hang out. They will help!
Great video. I just came to visit my folks in AZ for chistmass and brought my fpv plane. Where's some good spots to fly?
What part of the valley are you in?
The third guy flying low level closer to y'all was probably hurting your range.
I totally agree -- he is also using the newer goggles / protocol that doesn't mesh well with the first generation goggles that I am still using.
What batteries are you using for power and camera? And what kind of flight time do you get with them?

How much do they weigh and what wing area these awesome flyers have?

What kind of range can you get with that?
I am using TBS Crossfire 900mhz and DJI FPV goggles, so.... Far.
