We used to have a field of 50 acre beside the river Trent that flooded,if it froze we used to take the quad on there and tow each behind a long rope it was brilliant fun
Still got the sledge I built to take all three of my children that was over 25 years ago the only reason I know it was before we moved here which was December 1999 from a wooden school chair and a chunk of exterior ply plus tufnol on the runners. Some how I don't think I will have any grandchildren for a second generation to enjoy it with me.
Great video Olly, the corvus did struggle for grip but then it's designed as a mud plugger not an ice racer. Loved seeing the snow fun with the family, laughter is great for warming people up in cold weather and it looked like you were all having a great time. 👍.
I remember driving my Alfa 33 on a frozen water meadow on the edge of Loch Lomond in the winter of 1995 . 25 acres of Ice , managed to get to 90mph. Older and wiser now.😊
I used to live in Berlin and the main river The Harvel froze every winter. It’s very wide as it flows through Berlin and froze solid apart from the middle which was kept clear by icebreakers so the river traffic could get though. The Germans would happily drive cars over the river (before the icebreakers did their job). Everyone would go for walks on the ice or went skating, it was great fun. This was in the 1980’s, I wonder if the Harvel freezes as much as it used to.
You look like you had some fun. On the ice sledging kids love the ice. & snow I hate them both. It’s good you can take the time to play with them there only young once and it soon goes This weather. Is to. Cold for me must be my age your Yaris make a good ice buggy Feeling 86% today and Olly another brilliant video
cool video literally excellent loved doing that in our works car park until secruity sent a image of some one doing dougnuts in the snow and asked not to so other werent hurt......wtf sooo much fun be safe and lovely to be with your family
I live on a marina near derby on the river trent and all the small bushes and trees are still covered in water at several different levels they look like an ice sculpture.
My mum always say to me “boys never grow up, there toys just get more expensive”
Had to have some fun on the ice, looked good.
Happy plough Monday Olly

That flood has been a lot of fun
Popped in for a quick walk around at Lamma yesterday whilst at another show there
Amazing to see the amount of ice one that field. It looks awesome. You were having a blast in that yoke on the ice. You should have taken a quad
Great video Olly looks like you were all having fun sledging
Great fun. We found a discarded sled, hubby got on and nearly broke his neck, it flipped him over at the bottom. 🙈😂
I always try and hit the like icon while Olly is reading the birthday bumper but I’m still watching.
Reminds me of when my 3 boys were growing up sledding on the hills on fertilzer bag filled with straw ,great memorys .

Great video Olly
Going to my first LAMMA on Thursday. Is it actually warm in the halls of the NEC? Hopefully someone here can answer. Thanks
The field that floods all the time. Have you thought about doing a fishing lake?
That ice is definitely the result the wind chill factor.
Don’t forgets airport locations are generally chosen for the wind to assist takeoff.
Good video 👍 80% looks great fun.
On the tv wall you need to put a full wall of 18mm ply under the plaster board so you get a good fix for tv,s anywhere
Good to see you got the calender 🤣
115%, with good lunch out and gentle thaw...
Hi Olly Nice one Thanks again
That ice is nuts 😳
Bigger ejit to be on ice. Bad influence on children
I live on a marina near derby on the river trent and all the small bushes and trees are still covered in water at several different levels they look like an ice sculpture.
Hi olly when I was a kid we used to ride a bike on the lake mad really 😅
That calendar is hilarious 😂😂
You can never take the boy out of the man hey Olly.
Hi olly, we had no snow or ice in cornwall.
Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional😁
Boys and their toys.

Morrisons Supermarket are joining your complaint about the budget 🎉
Ice, ice, baby
12:35 - James stood next to Olly for scale!
Brilliant
Haven’t seen the doggie for awhile
Insurance form would be interesting if the Yaris got written off
Olly makinen in the corvus. I thought You and other farmer hate people driving around 4 by 4s in your fields😂😂😂

Official works entry for Corvus in next months rally Sweden!
I think you would have lost the yaris completely.
Have you ever thought of giving up farming and selling water? You always seem to have plenty
Just wondering how come you haven't put a hand rail around that hole upstairs near where u said you will be putting them TV's on de wall
Give us a chance
Turn the field in to a fishing pond and get your money off the land that way😊
