- Dale headed back to Tamworth for a revisit, taking in a massive 19 pubs that included CAMRA's National Pub Of The Year!
You've got to love this little town and this video will show you why!
Thanks for visiting The King's Ditch and for the compliments. Hopefully I'll be there next time you're in Tamworth, if you pop in again!
It's a great pub! I'll be back in the summer for sure.
Great ! Do Christopher's next time !
Sincerely, your content and commentary is such high quality. Hoping the video quality catches up. 🍻
Hahahaha... thanks bud... yes hopefully in a few months time a couple more avenues will have opened up for us and we cam start to look at stiff like that 🍺
Good crawl 👍 🍻
Thanks 👍
It's population is 78000. 11 Ratebeer places. So 7000: 1 Ratebeer recommendation. That's ok. It's got a Joules pub and I love their beers having been to their amazing gaff in Burton On Trent.
Yeah I'm always impressed with Joules places
Tamworth looks like a very nice place to live unlike the rest of the 🇬🇧 uk😊
I think tamworth is one of the best, if not THE best town for pubs.
Penny black was Yates back in the day.
Stone cross is one of the better craft union pubs.
St Edithas Church.
Its only a spud.! Ben has just eon a well deserved award.
Never been in the Sherrif , its a newer bar.
Bolebtidge is a great spoons . Nice carpet, no curtains .
Phoenix. Food..chips ok, .peas like bullets. Less fun pub than the Penny Black.
Tamworth Tap. Grest pub. Lovely friendly owners. Top people. Fantastic yard.
Castle. Its an a not an ar
Market vaults is a nice olde worlde pub.
Lucky kiss is good, better thst the new cadtke sports bsr.
Bsnk house is great, lovely staff. They have some great entertainment in the yard.
Jolly sailor is lovely open plan bar.
You missed coffee 18
Coven was a rock pub. Sadly it fsiled.
Three tuns opposite was lovely but uts a shop now
Moathouse is worth a visit when its open, its suprisingly small fir how big it is.
Coffee 18 is amazing, how can you not like it. It started as a coffee house and barbers .it morphed into a wine bar

Hi Dean (and Holly) you mentioned the witchy shop in Tamworth in your video. I am a volunteer there. We cordially invite you to visit us when you return to Tamworth. We are all volunteers, its a not for profit which means we keep the prices down for our customers and any profits we make support The Cottage Healing Centre, which is celebrating 20 years this year. We love your videos, we recently watched your Nottingham 22 pubs. See you soon.
It's Dale (not Dean) haha... but thank you... we'll definitely take you up on that! It looks a great little shop ❤️🍺 x
Sorry Dale! 🤣 we look forward to seeing you both. Have a wonderful day 🙏
Tamworth used to be a lot better for a night out or even just a day out but since covid it’s died down massively luckily spudmans brought a lot people to the town but it’s still suffering
And the Tamworth Tap is exceptional
Can’t be that bad if it’s still got 19 boozers. Come to Redditch 2 left in the town both shit holes plus a pop world….great night out to be had by all😂😂
@@tonychristie8168 it was more than 19 and they are still closing 1 by 1 Tamworth used to be a sick night out lads from brum Manchester Liverpool everywhere used to come down even that Harry styles had a night out in Tamworth but now it’s like a ghost town half the time
2.05 - That looked a right decent boozer….
**spud man**
He's a lovely guy
Blahahahahahahah - We have a Tamworth NSW Australia
I've been to both, and eventhough I am a Brisbanite, I must admit, the UK version is far better, unless you like guitars. Tamworth, UK is most charming.
Apparently it's the fattest town in England.
Really??? I'm shocked by that... I certainly didn't notice a trend like that 😂
It’s Dudley.. they sell more Greggs than anywhere else in the country…say no more!!
