LOVED this video! I really appreciated the info on the different types of fabric on the Breeeze and the difference between the breeze and the active. Also was so thankful to hear the real-life baby scenarios and your experiences on how you use the K'tan in those scenarios. Thanks so much for sharing this!! Helps in my decision making :)

I’m planning on buying them but because the active is more stretchy? Should you still get your size or a size smaller?

We live in Cairns Australia which is very humid through summer which is when my baby is due. Just wondering if you think the active or the breeze would be cooler?

The Baby-K'tan looks easier than a wrap. Thanks for showing us!

Love your videos!! Question... Do you recommend this over a ring sling for a newborn??...I'm on the fence but this looks so much easier :)

+Lady Pirate Honestly, i've never tried a ring sling. They kind of scare me! They just don't look very secure?! (obviously when used properly they are, otherwise moms wouldn't use them!) Sorry i'm not more help!

Great video. Do you have any link for that little bag you put it in? Thanks.

I love my Baby Ktan! The one thing I did that made a big difference was to cut the loop that holds the two big loops together. Now I just have two big separate loops which makes it super easy to get the fabric flat and comfy on your back. My tiny 3 yr old still likes to be put in it sometimes!

+Vienna Mom I'd probably skip a wrap an go straight to a structured carrier like a lillebaby or ergo! You'll get more use out of it in the long run!

+HOW TOs and Reviews what is your recommendation for the best structured carrier for newborns during a very hot summer season?

I sized to an XS and tried the active and it feels sooo tight with the baby in there (newborn 7lbs). I feel like it has no give or stretch. Does the breeze have more give? Is it possible I'm a bigger size in the active or am wearing it wrong?

    • @thehowtosreviews
      @thehowtosreviews  8 років тому

they are both pretty tight! You could go up a size if you are larger breasted!

I bought a small in the breeze and it was too big - the cotton also stretched with the first wear so that I couldn't get my girl situated right. She was down way too low. So I returned it and ordered an xsmall in the active. It's pretty snug! My girl is 10 months old and 22 pounds. She fits but there's not much give - I think because of the synthetic fabric, it doesn't stretch at all.
So I would recommend an xsmall in the breeze because the cotton will stretch. Or a small in the active because there is no stretch and no give at all.

Hi you both:) could you please share with me what t-shirt size are you and height and what size you decided to buy for the baby k'tan?
I found it very confusing....since i doesn't have the option to try it before ordering the product.
I check in the website and in the breeze and the active it was told me to buy the Xs. I tried on the original one size s and it was good.
      I am size 6 and 172cm (67.7 in) height.
      Thanks a lot!!

I ended up buying them in different sizes, trying them at home and then returning what didn't fit. I sized to an XS but the XS Active was too tight and had no give and the Small Active seemed like way too much material. So I ended up with the XS Breeze and I love it. It has way more give than the Active and stretches a bit (but not too much). I'm a size sm/med, smaller chested and 5'2".

+Mickayla Lewis This is definitely harder to bf in- I would suggest a more structured carrier for bfing!
