Hey this guide helped me a lot I couldn’t really figure out the path of the dragons. What you could have added is what order to obtain the items by difficulty. From easy to hard: shard, scale, horn, tooth, claw. Get the claw last because that one moves around the most once you hit it and you might have to follow it off the dragon.
All 3 elemental dragons are resemble animals, the light dragon on the outher hand resembles a bird, it also has a beak, that's why its called a talon. This is also why it Flys fare higher then outher dragons. Even though the eyes are creepy and lack focus, and they move independent from each outher.

So for Naydra, I recommend either the twice upgraded rito set, or Zant Helm+any rito+fireshield or any 2 rito. For Dinraal, I recommend ALL 3 twice upgraded pieces of the Flamebreaker set. For Farosh, I recommend the lightning helm with the froggy chest and leggings, as well as a fire and/or cold shield to help deal with weather conditions for that one stretch near the gerudo area. Light dragon is recommended to have a flame shield with one cold resistant armor and two heat resistant armors, or a cold shield with one heat resistant and two cold resistant. With those, you can go completely afk with an alarm set for each 10 minute interval.
In terms of fuse material, I suggest Gleeok Horns over any dragon part (excluding Light Dragon parts) since their elemental effect never goes on cooldown and their fuse damage bonus is higher.
The problem with gleeok horns are their range reduction. The horn will become the blade of whatever weapon it is fused to(including the Master Sword)drastically reducing the range of swords, clubs, and 2 handed weapons. I know I’m late but nah, you’re wrong, gleeok horns have the same range, you just can’t really see it before you attack. The elemental effect that emits from the horn that isn’t the elemental damage itself counts as being the sword, so it has the same range as any other weapon

i recommend shooting first and then collect the shards. since the dragon stops glowing after offering its 1 time item and you can easily spot the shards as they keep glowing
Really depends on where you start. If you land on the tail mind as well collect em on the way to the horn since they’re not that hard to see. If you land near the head yeah gives you something to do while you wait
For fangs, if you wait until they're heading up a chasm, just stand on their nose, like between the nostrils facing the mouth, bop them with your sword and the fang should pop right in front of you. No jumping or gliding required. Haven't tested on light dragon yet, because no chasms.

I'm having issues with the light dragon... it's flying WWAAAYYY up there in the sky (like, at least 1km above the sky islands). Even flying machines with a bunch of batteries aren't enough to reach it. I already pulled the Master Sword so the Deku Tree quest is a bust for me (it auto completed when I saved the tree). The only time I was able to reach the dragon (and thus pulling the Master Sword) was in the end of the 12th memory tear. The dragon was so low, I could reach it from a simple sky island. But now, as I said, it's back to being sky-high. Heck, Ozone-high!
I'd suggest grabbing all of the Zonaite Armor pieces and crafting the flying machine with two fans and a controller. I'd also dupe a ton of large zonaite ore, going to each mine in the depths and buying all the fragments down there. There's 5 in each location, at 3 ores a piece and they give you 20 charges a piece. So each mine grants 100 charges, enough for one single cell. To help with math, it takes 45 large zonaite ore to get one full battery. To respawn the shops, just go sleep :)
You need to do a quest to make her fly lower. Specifically, one in Korok Forest, inside the deku tree. Godspeed if you go for that. Alternatively, there’s a brief window after you collect all the dragon’s tear memories where she’ll be low enough to hop on (from ulri mountain tower). Do all your farming then. Otherwise, good luck reaching her without lowering her in any way. It’s definitely possible, but not really easy.

Alternatively, there’s a brief window after you collect all the dragon’s tear memories where she’ll be low enough to hop on (from ulri mountain tower). Do all your farming then.
Otherwise, good luck reaching her without lowering her in any way. It’s definitely possible, but not really easy.
@@Cheerwine091 You seem to have completely missed that I said I already did the deku tree and tears quests :)
False alarm. It seems that the solution was to verbally complain on youtube. Literally the next day (today) it flew at a much more normal height and I found it (and boarded it) like 3 times.
Tracking it is a pain, though.
You need to fin the geoglyphs each one you do she gets lower
Me who didn’t know the Deku Tree would mark the Light Dragon so I could find it easily so I pulled the Master Sword early: 😶
I got the master sword and didn't know about the ten minute refresh so left after one scale. Now I can't find the dragon again for the life of me despite trying the clockwise route
No idea why, (most know) but the light dragons story makes me wanna cry
Spoiler’s
This incarnation of Zelda has done too much for hyrule😢
@@woops9076
Spoiler for botw and totk
like botw Zelda held back calamity ganon for 100 years so she saved hyule which in my opinion is more important than repairing the master sword
yesterday I was chilling with Farosh
You Can Hit The Dragons With Any Weapon Besides Sheilds😊
so just to check, they don't fast foward in there route if you rest in a campfire/bed
You can walk on the dragons now? You won’t bounce off?
Yep! It’s a lot of fun just seeing the sights from above on their backs.
You are a fucking legend! And I thought Austin John Plays was better, but you man, you are god
The funny thing is I didn't even know they were dragons coming out of the things I've been there and landed on the nose
Farosh: bridge of hylia 8 am in game
Naydra: mount lanayru sky view tower 12:30
That’s all I know
No, they don't show up in a set area based on time of day
They follow a path that runs on real time and will loop so long as the game is unpaused and not in dialogue or cutscenes
the horns are just better than the other dragons part right?
The light dragons name is.
Zelda Zelda is a dragon
can you sleep to fast foward the timer to get more pieces?
So what is the best way of actually getting onto the light dragon?
Just so you guys know if my experiments the dragons usually drop 12 spikes at a time of course you have to leave for them to Spond back but that’s how many there are
can we get dragon part from other dragon at the same time? or all dragon will have the 10 minute reset time?
Well my thought is that in botw the dragon "claws" were originally called talons
Can you change system clock, so dragons recharge faster?
Actually try it and see
could u show us howw u do fangs and claws, it was kinda the only reason i wanted to watch this :/
Came for tips on finding dragons. Left angry that the master sword's location was spoiled.
Lol same
Yeah completely unnecessary to put that in, had nothing to do with farming materials
@@joeschof_95 It kinda does when it is literally the reason you know the "dragon's" exact location to find her for farming purposes. This is such a dumb petty thing to be upset about.
@@MihaelLawliet01 i think my guy just wanted a spoiler warning, and he probably did what i did, I got the fierce deity armor and wanted to upgrade it before going to lost woods and getting the master sword quest and I didnt realize the light dragon was gonna be in the video lol
@@bell8568 In my first couple hours of gaming, I managed to land on the light dragon, and I saw the sword on his head, tried to take it (of course, to no avail), and just after seeing that it was stuck that I realized it was the Master Sword.
I think light dragon has talon because it's Zelda and Zelda is younger so a younger dragons claws didn't fully develop
I got so many good screenshots on Naydra...
Forash cant make thundersnow, so your safe from lightning strikes if gerudo is night time.
Does the deku tree quest stay marking the light dragon after I get the sword? Cuz I got the master sword quite early
snowquill level 2 set bonus has left the chat.
I'm a newbie, I managed to get on the electric dragon. He killed me like 3 times in a row, kept shocking me with lightning
very helpful
Instead of going from tower to tower looking for then are there any good zoni vehicles you can make that could help you find them?
There's a really easy hoverbike to make that you've probably seen by now(the one with two fans and a steering stick in the middle). If you don't have battery upgrades then you won't make it. Dropping in from towers and sky shrines is the best way to go about things.
@@SidVirtuous yea, saw multiple designs of the hoverbike. I take it everywhere with me, only have like 4 batteries though and you'd probably need 12 just to get what...a 3rd or 4th of there route?
@@shadowswishmoonlight1640 my method for dragons is to go to the tower closest to them, launch myself into the air and check if they are visible. If not , they must be in the depths. And so I go down the chasm that they come out of and then follow their path underground with my hoverbike
@@karnage7665 An excellent idea, I was just going to have an extra two fans to help with speed and height after I get maybe 12 batteries in the depths. That way I could hopefully catch up to them in the depths.
Is there a schedule fir the dragon i can use so i can sleep till noon or smt and know wete it is
Imagine Zelda yelling at Link for this because isn’t the dragon of light Zelda
Fangs???? Isn’t just horns, talon, and scales you have to shoot?
Yeah fangs too
I didn't think of it either but to upgrade an outfit they asked for a dragon's fangs and I was like "wait what?", I'm pretty sure they weren't a thing in Botw
@@NaegeruGaming They were a thing in botw
Nope. U need fangs too. For upgrades at least
How many of each part is needed for every armor piece upgrade and quest?
not me watching while i'm farming dragons so i can keep getting horns
the spikes on arrows are as strong as elemental GEMS, big boom
But is there reliable knowledge of when each dragon will be where?
Totk allows you to do some scary stuff
Been looking for the light dragon for ages after getting the master sword cant find her anywhere, any tips on locating her.
I am lost on the exp part of what you said at the end? You get experience in the game and lvl up
Can some tell me if the light dragon still lower if I do the tear 1st and then the deku 🌳 or did I lock my self out of the lower hight
Meanwhile I've been avoiding them cause I thought they were bosses
Wait i didnt know there were other dragons except the light dragon
Me too.
If you played BOTW you would... The mechanic of actually riding them is definitely new though lol
Does the dragon part cooldown refresh if I put my switch on sleep?
What does the heal effect do for light dragon when you hit someone
It heals a quarter heart per hit, in my experience.
You won't lose your weapons if you have on the lighting helm.
Sensor+ doesn’t tell you when they are near after taking photos of them?
Yes! I tried with the ice dragon and it worked!, Now im waiting for the light dragon to go off.
Edit: yes, it also works with the light dragon, but it only activates when you are REALLY close to de dragon, so its not THAT helpful...
How did you get those outfits tho ?
i cannot get the claws for the life of me, they always fall down in the opposite direction i am at and then evaporate. any help on that or am i just bad
Can you put a travel medallion on them and if so since you only have 3 what can you do to get the 4th dragon eg the fire, ice, thunder have travel medallions and the light dragon doesn’t
Nope, you can't
I still don’t quite under how to get the dragons teeth?
Technically there's 5 dragons ;)
