I remember living in Santa Monica in the early 80s. I had a stupid corporate sales job, but that was also the time that I discovered long distance cycling. Flying up PCH to Zuma or Oxnard was FREEDOM.
@Blueski888 right?? Malibu is my happy place. Too bad we have to be on the PCH for so long to get there. I'm sure that road was a lot more pleasant back then, tho I can't imagine it was ever that great🫤

@DavidBigandt haha no, I just really admire it and I've found LA to be one of the most diverse and gorgeous areas for it. One of my favorite parts of traveling is seeing the different architecture.
