My hubby hates broccoli - would cauliflower be a good substitute? x
Try the pizza with boursin cheese instead of the goat cheese when it's on sale. It is delicious
Have you ever tried Mike's Hot Honey? I bet that would be bomb on the zucchini pizza. We love it on regular pizza!
Sausage tortellini came up as spooky Oreos via the link🤔😆
Love the cooking videos u and Tyler do!!!
I honestly love this format - one recipe you’re super familiar with and one you’re just testing out lol it’s soooo relatable! MORE OF THIS PLEASE!
Tyler should try hot honey drizzled on his pizza, sooo good. Also, I would love more of these videos.
Honey is so good on pizza! Especially veggie pizza. There's an amazing pizza place not too far from our house and they make the absolute best thin crust veggie pizza with a pesto sauce rather than marinara. A little honey drizzled over that is perfection. ❤😊
Please do more cooking videos!!! Love this!!!
OMG A COOKING VIDEO!!!! Now we are being spoiled!
haha woohoo!!
HES!
YES!
Awesome pizza recipe. Thanks Jessica. Tip: if using squash, eggplant, mushrooms or other high water content veggies, sprinkle a this layer of breadcrumbs on the pastry as your base and it’ll keep it from going soggy on the bottom
This is so simple, but I bet it's a game changer.
Our favourite recipe that uses sage is a vegetarian naan pizza, the "sauce" is a sage and ricotta mixture with salt and pepp, and then you cover it with cubed, cooked butternut squash and quick pickled red onion. Bake for like 7-10 mins and top with pumpkin seeds for crunch, some arugula if you want and balsamic drizz. DELICIOUS.
Hey Jess, try using a mandolin to slice your zucchini. I love it because I can slice vegetables evenly and fast with the mandolin.
Please be careful tho Jess! You can cut yourself worse on a mandolin than with that cheese grater!
HI Jess- one of my go to easy dinners- is chicken sausage with orzo- Slice 3 chicken sausages( I love the chicken & apple from Costco) throw them in a pan with a little EVOO- let them brown for about 5 mins. Slice in half a good amount of grape tomatoes and after the sausage is browned throw them in the pan too- let cook for about 3 mins then add 1 cup of orzo and let it brown for 2-3 mins. Add about 3/4 can of chicken broth to the pan, stir and cover let cook on medium high heat for 8 mins. When done remove lid, let cook for about another min to get excess liquid off then mix in your favorite cheese. I usually mix in some Parmesan and its amazing. Everyone I have made this for loves it! So quick and easy and its a one pot receipt!
Thanks for the recipe!
This sounds so good!
We make this EVERY OTHER WEEK at least!! PRO TIP drizzle some honey around the crust and lightly on top of the pizza before baking and everything caramelizes beautifully. A little sliced white onion and some prosciutto is INCREDIBLE on here 🥰🥰 18:16
I love the way you accepted the chaos of cooking with grace & humor and not a meltdown...you go girl!
Can you make this a whole series? Love this!!
I got "Welcome to the Cutting Board" vibes. Loved every minute of the cooking vlog. Your herb garden is sooooo nice ❤ Loved to see the Cilantro peeking in the back because I use it in everything!!!
A realistic cooking video! This is how 90% of my own meals go when cooking for my family, so it’s really refreshing to see someone cook like I do (including emergency store runs!) 😆 Please do more!
Jessica, get a mandoline for paper thin zucchini. They will dry out better to ensure a crispy pizza and they just get so good and carmelized. Edit to add: That jar of Raos Alfredo sauce probably made the dish so much better. Like their Marinara, I think Raos makes the best jarred Alfredo sauce.
Tarragon is delicious in chicken salad sandwiches! Tarragon with a little lemon 🤌
I love the puff pastry pizza!
As for the sage, I’d take off all the leaves from stems, wash and pat them dry, and pack them loosely in freezer bags for up to a year. That’s at you have them available whenever you want to make the sage brown butter or other sauces. And they don’t just get thrown away
🍤🌮My favorite yummy quick dinner recipe is shrimp tacos. You need corn tortillas, frozen shrimp, shallot, slaw mix, Ken’s roasted sesame dressing, lime juice, Asian Kewpie Mayo, and sriracha. The only thing that needs to be cooked is the shrimp (2-3 minutes per side in a pan with a little olive oil, seasoned with black pepper). I thinly slice the shallot and quick pickle it in a bowl with the lime juice. Then I toss the slaw mix with a little of the sesame dressing and they’re ready to assemble! I put a little Kewpie Mayo on the bottom of the tortilla, then the shrimp, slaw, shallots, and a little drizzle of sriracha on top. So easy and quick and seems way fancier than it is.
I don’t have the patience or time for complicated dinners so love these videos! I totally want to try that pizza.
Also, our favorite easy meal is just broccoli and butternut squash tossed with olive oil and kinder's seasoning. Bake on 375 for 20 minutes. Add sliced smoked sausage to the pan. Cook 10 more minutes.
I buy pre cubed butternut squash and broccoli florets to make it even easier.
That's my favorite to make when I work late!
For the herbs you can always dehydrate them and make a poultry blend for the fall with the sage and tarragon! Also great if you have tons of the dried herbs to give out around thanksgiving in mini jars too 😄 Love cooking Jess!
Yep! I also freeze herbs like Sage, Basil, Mint etc. in freezer bags to have over the winter. I use lots of sage in holiday meals 😊
That's a great idea!
I came for the💄but I stayed for the 🍽️ Slow cooker recipe from NYT Cooking: Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Chicken. Combine 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs. 1.5 cups jarred salsa verde, 1 can mild green chilis, minced garlic, chopped jalapeño, onion & garlic powder and cumin. Cook low 5-6 hrs then shred chicken w 2 forks. Garnish w cilantro and lime and serve w rice or tortillas. Like a flavorful stew, makes great leftovers and super easy 😀
Please add cooking videos to your list of regular content I am LOVING this.
Yes makeup is fun and I wear it from time to time but we all need to eat, every day. Ok More of this please!
Parmesan as a replacement for the goat cheese would be delicious too.
Love these!
My fave kitchen tip I ever learned is that you can heap a hunk of ginger in the freezer and use a microplane to grate it as you need it ❤
I have made this and used ricotta instead of goat cheese, turned out delicious. I also added sauted mushrooms
Oh ricotta is a great idea! I tried it with feta instead of goat and that was yummy too. But I’m def trying ricotta next. And I feel like Jess would love that as well cuz I know how she feels about ricotta😂
Italian sausage links, which are usually in the same section as brats and chicken sausage, come in regular (sweet) and hot (spiced w/red pepper flakes), but they aren't usually fully cooked like the smoked sausage you used. I imagine that's why the recipe puts it in when it does.
I love the sweet Italian sausage from johnsonville. The absolute best. But I always take the skin off. I hate it
Pumpkin, sage, and ground sausage pasta! Also butternut squash soup with sage... Perfect for fall and winter. They're a combo made in heaven. I really love your cooking videos btw. They're so fun
Second that !
Sounds delicious
Just a tip Jess! When moving things on the cutting board, flip the knife upside down so the spine of the knife is what's touching the cutting board. It helps your knives not dull out so quickly!
LOVED THIS VIDEO!!! More of them please!
Love love your cooking videos! Nice to see a non-chef, regular working mom and what meals you like to cook! Keep ‘em coming :)
THE CUTTING BOARD!!!!❤❤❤

Yay! I've been needing easy dinner ideas.
hopefully you like these!!
@@itsjessicabraun pasta and sausage are always wins for my littles. Broccoli is also their absolute FAVORITE vegetable.
Love this! I'm gonna try both recipes!
I tried your Cowboy Chili from one of the last videos and it’s SO simple and SO good. I added chopped bell pepper to it. Seriously though, I love cooking videos!! I’d watch one every week if you posted it!
Yes! Here for this!
LOVE THIS! Making puff pastry pizza Monday night.
i love this video style!
Good job!!!! Love all your videos!
Yesssss!!! We need more!!!!
Love this video! Love you and your family too!
Thx for these 😋 yumm!! An easy recipe is u put chicken in the crockpot and add a whole jar of old el paso or jar or italian salad dressing. Cook this at night on low for 4-5 ish hrs depending on ur crockpot - wake up and house smells grreat!! Serve over rice or noodles. Also, utuber Jessica Pacheco has a bunch of 3 ingred recipes, and soon a cookbook! 💕
LOVE this!!
I’m “binge watching “ Jessica B! I’ve been consumed by Disneyville Podcasts and the vacation vlogs. But coming back around to my OG youtuber!! I appreciate your variety on your videos! It’s very fresh and always interesting. Your personality resonates with so many people so thank you for addressing so many topics in such a kind sensitive honest manner. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF ALSO!! Love you and your family and thank you for sharing so much
Love all of your videos and this was no exception!
Thank you! I am a single mom (handicapped) with a picky teenager who wants to try new things so I'm going to try these recipes. Fast and easy is what I need! I would be interested in other recipes. BTW I started watching the Disney Vlogs (we are Disney obsessed) and then caught your must haves/favorite things videos and I really enjoy.
I am SO excited! We need more of these videos
She's probably talking about like Johnsonville Italian sausage...you can usually find it with the Johnsonville brats. Not precooked. You can also get it in a bulk pack instead of links. Choice of sweet, mild or hot.
Excited to try these!! 🤤
I am SCREAMING at how delicious this is! What a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing. I made myself a Vegan version with mushrooms, onions, peppers, and black olives. Literally chefs kiss. I'll have to make the Zucchini version when my store decides to stock more of their produce 🤣 PLEASE suggest more easy dinner content in the future!
Loved it-Thanks for the recipes!!!!
I love all of your content! This is great!
Thanks!!! I love it !!! 😊
Mike’s hot honey would be amazing on the pizza (then you could skip the red pepper flakes).
I thought the same thing!
I could put Mike’s hot honey on probably 90% of my meals. It is soooooooooo good! I can hardly eat pizza without it now. 😆
i thought this too!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video flow. I was really relaxed listening to you.
Jessica, you are the first influencer I began to follow years ago. TBH, we have nothing in common except for the love of cosmetics! I don't even cook but watching you cook for some reason relaxes me. Have a great weekend! 😄♥
Please please keep doing this!! We can’t wait to try these recipes and I need more quick good ones in my life.

I love Braun cooking videos! I’m going to try these this coming week. 😋
I loved this style of video!!
I enjoy seeing your cooking, and would be happy to see more!
I make these cookies with ingredients and instructions in my soul but here it goes:
Sage and Honey Shortbread cookies:
2 sticks butter
2 cups flour
1/4 cup honey
Lemon zest
1-2 T fresh Sage (also works with mint, lavender, and rosemary, whatever you have)
With room temperature butter, combine all ingredients in large bowl and then roll cookies out flat and cut into circles. Bake 375F for 8 minutes or until the bottoms are golden!
Another game changer for the zucchini puff pastry is a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Perfection
More videos like this!!! Love love love ❤❤❤
Sage is good added to whole roasted chicken or any chicken dish at all! Stuff sage, lemon and garlic into the bird and it’s great. Also a tip I found to help the lower the amount of extra cheese that falls off the grater, when you’re grating cheese only grate it down in one direction, lift it up between swipes and It grates it better, there won’t be as much of a mess, and I find i don’t cut my fingers.
Add the Alfredo sauce at the end just to warm it since cream sauce breaks down into liquid when it boils.
My favorite sage use is in a maple/mustard/sage sauce over pork chops (we TRIPLE this sauce it is so good) from Bon Appetit magazine: pan drippings from pork chops fried in 1 TBspoon butter (or 2-3 tablespoons of butter if no drippings), 1/2 cup chicken broth, 1 table spoon pure maple syrup, 1 table spoon course mustard, 1/2 teaspoon dried sage (google the conversion to fresh sage). Dump all together in the pan and simmer about 3 minutes until syrupy, then put pork chops back in and simmer 1 more minute to heat the meat. We also make the sauce by itself to serve over veggies sometimes. Enjoy!
Personality is just adorable. And loved the cooking content today.
I have made this with eggplant and then fresh Chopped basil (add at the end) and sliced thin cherry or grape tomatoes (at the end) balsamic glaze and ooh man is it good 😊
My kids call it eggplant caprese salad pizza
Love easy, quick, yummy recipes!
❤ loved this and anything you share
I love your cooking videos! It's always great to see another family's "go-to" meals. A few notes from a former semi-professional chef: I bought the Everyday Dinners cookbook at your suggestion and love it, however, the 'grated mozzarella' should be low-moisture whole milk mozzarella for ease of shredding and to avoid the water situation. Second. The sausage in the tortellini recipe definitely should have been raw Italian sausage 😂 but I'm sure it tasted good anyways
I was just about to suggest the issue was likely due to the moisture content of the mozzarella! Its nice having my instincts validated by a professional! 😊 ❤❤❤
I was thinking the same thing with the sausage. Browned Italian sausage out of the casing is sooo delicious. They’ve gotta try it😂🙌🏼
Great job, Jess!! Thanks for the great meal ideas!
Yum! Will try them!! ❤
I loved the cooking video 😘 Definitely will be giving these a go 👍🏻
I love your cooking videos, Jessica!
I loved this!! It was great to see someone else struggling with dinner and make a come back!! Thanks for showing real life!!
This is a great video. Thank you!
More easy dinner meals, yes please!
lol well we will be needing Jessica’s Home Cooking blogs weekly now….thankyou!! 😉🤗
You are one of may most favorite people to watch. I feel like we could really be best friends!!!
Love these style videos, they looked delicious!!
we love all your recommendations and your so much fun to watch ❤
Love this video❤please please bring more
I love when you share recipes! 💚💜💙
One of my favorite appetizers to make for a party. Apple Goat Cheese Bruchetta. Get some nice rustic bread (Tyler could make some 😂) rub with olive oil and garlic and toast in the oven. Then spread goat cheese on top with sliced Granny Smith apples drizzle with honey (hot honey is also great) and if you are nut friendly some chopped pecans or walnuts. 10/10 always a huge hit!
You can freeze the mozzarella (wrap in plastic wrap and put in freezer bag) then its much easier the shred! 😁 love the new video idea!! Thanks Jess!
😊 genius!!
you don't even need to completely freeze it. Just pop it in there about 5-10 minutes before you need to cut/chop/shred. It works for all soft cheeses like that. ❤❤❤
Please do more of these!!! 😊
Jess I’ve been wishing for a video like this! Yay!
