Hey Bro, I'm considering taking the Ruby Princess from SF to Hawaii for a 16-day cruise in December. I'm hoping it'll be good weather. Do you recommend getting a room with ocean view or deck vs an interior room without either? Also, do you recommend a specific section of the ship and floor? I'm looking at going with an elderly parent, so want to cater the trip to scenic, calm and relaxing parts of the ship. Just chill and read with an ocean view in a less windy and more shaded area, hot tub, fine dining, nice strolls, quieter cabins located where you don't feel the motion of the ocean. Do you have any suggestions? I'm looking to book in advance. Wondering if I should be making dinner reservations as early as possible as well.
Hi. Thanks for watching. I stayed in a balcony cabin on Ruby Princess around the midship. Here is my review. ua-cam.com/video/rlFUtvQTMnw/v-deo.html It was a 10 day cruise and I am glad I was in a balcony. Check the weather in December to see how it is in terms of rain and temperature. It looks like December is the rainest month of their rainy season. But it would be good to see how long does it tain for. Breif showers or all day rain. If balcony is covered it should help with the rain part.
Sailing on the Ruby April of 2025 the only other princess ship I have been on is the crown I believe that one was built in 2008 too I think some times the older ships have a bit of charm about them I have been on NCL new ships I mean yeah they have all the new stuff but I enjoyed the crown I feel I will like this ship
@@rebeccabowman7038 The Crown and Ruby Princess are in the same class of ship so you should like it when you sail in 2025. Thanks for watching. Let me know what you think of Ruby after your vacation.
We went on the ruby, princess may of 2023 to alaska it was a 10 day .and we are going again On the ruby, princess october of 2025 16 night hawaiian cruise can't wait
Thank you for watching. I am so jealous. I want to do a Hawaiian Cruise one day. The one thing I like about Princess is that they do a good job in keeping up their older ships.
Hi great video. You seem to be very informed and knowledgeable about Princess cruises. I’m going on a 12 night cruise to the Panama Canal on the Emerald Princess and I just booked a 16 day Hawaiian cruise for next year on the Ruby Princess! Needless to say I am over the top excited. It just so happens that both sailings fall on Halloween! I’m a big kid at heart so I was wondering if people dress up in costumes and if Princess does anything special for my favorite holiday? My next question is about the Salty Dog. Do they take reservations? If they get that busy I would feel more comfortable having a table reserved especially if it’s for dinner. Thanks in advance! I would really appreciate your advice.
Thank you so much. The biggest holiday I have been on for Princess Was Thanksgiving. I never been on there for Halloween, they will host many activities and by festive for any holiday. I think that would be a good idea to get a reservation for Salty Dog. I never saw it that packed before. Enjoy your vacation. I never went to Hawaii. Definitely on my bucket list.
Great tips on the cruise ship. Just a question or two for you. Were there any dance classes on board that you notice? Which of the three main dining rooms would you recommend?
They usually do dance classes but I was in the steel pan classes. When you have a chance check out the videos I did of Ruby Princess. I liked the dining room closest to the atrium because it was closer to the theatre if we had to finish dinner and catch a show.
It is definitely a different vibe than Royal, so I've heard, But I enjoy Princess. Have a great cruise. Thanks for watching. Let me know how you liked it. You can look at my different videos on Ruby to see my experience.
