One thing I'll say about the game so far is that the foundation is very solid. Never expected the game to be perfect given this is their first game ,and the budget. They can 100% build up from this if things work out
I agree. It's already a fun game at the basic levels but against top level players the spam is undefendable to the point it's not even fun. The biggest issue is having your feet glued to the canvas for a split second in the pocket and the lack of range on punches, mainly jabs and uppercuts especially.

There's definitely some flaws, and it feels like in the higher weight classes the punching power drops off dramatically which needs fixing. Outside of that, it's fun and solid. (just an example, I've been able to get a flash KO in every weight class except LHW and HW)
Boxing is so hard to replicate this game definitely shows talent on their part...but the beauty is the updates that will improve the game. As long as they listen to the real player and boxing experts this game should be really dope by the time it hits consoles.. but just the fact they get this far is a marvel in and of itself. And hopefully this game will not turn to garbage like what NBA 2k did to basketball & Only the true boxing heads with play this game so the community doesn't turn toxic.
They need to add stunlock animations when they were trading punches and hitting each other's face they like robots no concequence only when there hurt if the health bar depletes with stunlock mechanics each punch has an impact when connected so it punishes players for just trading blows without guarding/ parrying

They said that about ali back then because he was skinny but he ran 2 eras of boxing and it's never been as hard since. The closes it got was the 90s and even then an old George George came and took the belt with 69kos out of 72 wins. Dude was almost 50. In his prime ali beat em and koed em. He was considered the greatest heavyweight at that time then ali koed em to prove a point. Fury would not be able to deal deal ali nimble agility. He went to fight wilt Chamberlin who is way bigger than fury and muscular yet he turned the fight down.

When you take into consideration what it takes to throw & land power punches,hooks & uppercuts irl. Range plays a large part in its significance. I don’t think they overdid the missing of punches, it should force you to fight more like a real boxing match, using actual timing to land punches rather than throwing and connecting just because you press the input of the punch. Also LX, idk if you were throwing them, but body uppercuts do more effective damage in the pocket vs the hooks. It seems the hooks do more damage to the body when you get an extension of the arm, you won’t always overthrow them in close, but the power isn’t the same as the body uppercut.

I enjoy the way you can overthrow if someone if too close. It actually makes you have to throw the correct punch in the correct distance & if you don’t you may or may not pay.
We can't forget that this game is "Early Access" for a reason but however I do understand the Hard criticism because it puts the fire under the ass so to speak, if we don't complain or if we make "soft" complaints the issues won't be addressed and I believe SCI knows this as well but when all is said and done, this game will be the best Boxing game ever made Guaranteed...Side note: I'd love to see them emplement leaping punches in general, Not just Hooks/Haymakers but we should have the ability to leap with any punch no matter what type of punch but I'm sure we will be satisfied in the long run.
Hes fun when I use tyson I can literally hit someone with the cleanest 20 piece and it seems like he just cant stun with Ali I just have so much more fun especially with his movement and obviously it's just nice playing as someone who got you into the game it will die down eventually especially the Frazer hook spammers
IMO, The footwork alone is ahead of the Fight Night series. It allows matches to be more dynamic than brawls and it shows different boxers style better. Roy Jones stance, Ali, Crawford etc all look and feel like themselves. Fight Night 2004 was my GOAT, but the inability to move around the ring so freely was my only gripe. Good video though and you covered a lot of good topics.
The perks of being in "early access" from a business standpoint they can get away with this game not being a complete game. The problem comes when a year or 2 or hell 5 years down the road (because we've seen that with early access games) the game is still the same. So far I can say that every day since the game has come out they have been updating and changing the game and being open with the community. No, this game will never be fight night but In my opinion, when it's all said and done there will be certain things that this game will do better than fight night.
I'm amped up for Undisputed's full release. They could use some tuning on the survivability a bit. All of that punching after the hard stun in the first round would've been a knockdown in FNC. Hopefully presentation features and more mechanics will come by full release time. It was a journey watching this Ali AB merely the whole fight with the commentary at hand. 😂.

I agree with you about Tyson Fury. Its an Era thing I guess. Fury is like over 7'0 or something like that. He has the technique similar to Ali. He would dominate all the fighters from Ali's era no question.
With how often fury is leaning, hurt and slowing down in early rounds turning everything into a brawl...he's not getting past fraizer who would be on his chest the whole fight and due to inexperience he would not know how to handle it. Fury is like 6'8, Ali pushing 6'4. It actually gives ali the advantage. Fury would have tp fight these non giving up mean for 15 rounds straight when he gasses in 6 to 8 and start slugging. What competition has he faced that is even remotely similar to Ali Era? Usyk is the only boxer I seen surviving back then because he can actually fight. George foreman would ragdoll Fury. He would grab em and throw em then punch him harder than he's ever felt in his life. Ali would just walk and jab him till he gave up. He wouldn't even take em serious. Mike tyson gets him out in 3 to 4 rounds. There were always big dudes they just couldn't catch the little guys so they got bodied. The lightweights if they fought like that at heavyweight would run the heavyweight division of today. He'll again look at usyk.

I like this game a lot, mostly cause I don't have a system with fight night champion purchasable and it's scratching my boxing game itch. That being said I agree with what you are saying in this, they need to work on a lot and I'm sure they will but it's gonna be hard to get all of it. I feel like I can out box people for 10 rounds and then get KO'd cause they only use one punch and it rewards that in the way the damage is being calculated. But when something happens clean it happens real clean so with improvement it should be a great game. Also giving you a sub because only real ones have played the ippo victorious boxers games they are tight AF

Shit I had one where I was Joe Frazier vs Ali and he was winning the first half of the fight but I turned it around and knocked him down a few times. Was winning but the fight got stopped 7 seconds short of the end of the fight and I lost to a cut haha.

Yes you can. If you press the correct buttons it memorises the sequence. For example off I want the standard step in left double jab, right straight, you can click X X Y fast and the sequence follows the combo you clicked

The problem is tyson furys speed! Fury is not that fast when he moves around the ring. His hand speed is decent, but he does not move anywhere near the movement speed nor handspeed the ali.. also we cannot say if fury is the best heavyweight of all time because their aren't many good heavyweights left, and the remaining ones don't fight eachother. Fury got extended time to rest from the ref with paused countdowns after being knocked down twice by deontay. ALI FOUGHT DURING THE GOLDEN ERA OF HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING!!! There were not just one or two big fighters during that time. NO. ALI HAD TO BEAT THEM ALL! Something that tyson has yet to prove and never will

This is a sim game so the punches are realistic, fight night wasn’t a sim version of boxing so you have to choose your punches right and know the distance and timing.
From the looks of it; One of the biggest issues is that every video , it looks like arcade boxing. No distance , every fight is body to body. Even the cpu only copies the boxing stance, not the boxing style. Fury going full round body to body with someone half his lenght. Not using the jabs to keep distance. Soms punches still look very weird animated.. and Canello beard looks afwull.
Fury beats Deontay Wilder by using weight and size and now he could have beaten all heavyweights in history ? Got to disagree with you brother. A young Lennox Lewis would have beaten him and so would a young Foreman. Foreman was more technically sound than Wilder (who put Fury on the canvas multiple times ). Foreman would have taken Fury out...Power in both hands and stronger than Wilder. I also believe Ali would have boxed circles around Fury. Fury is too slow. Ali had more hand speed and faster feet. He'd win on points. I think Vitali in his prime gives Fury problems. He just about beat Lewis, but got stopped due to his eyebrow being ripped open by Lennox. Game definitely needs an update. Good foundation, but right now it's flat out not rewarding you for clean hits that should be really damaging to the opponents. First round you should've knocked that player out with how well you did.

Prime Ali didn't need to lay on the ropes, Fury wouldn't land anything clean and would be gassed late in the fight and probably even stopped on cuts.

Yea but the way they move is stil to slow and stiff the legs should be seperate from upper body so u can hit while moving back or to the side

I like this game a lot, mostly cause I don't have a system with fight night champion purchasable and it's scratching my boxing game itch. That being said I agree with what you are saying in this, they need to work on a lot and I'm sure they will but it's gonna be hard to get all of it. I feel like I can out box people for 10 rounds and then get KO'd cause they only use one punch and it rewards that in the way the damage is being calculated. But when something happens clean it happens real clean so with improvement it should be a great game. Also giving you a sub because only real ones have played the ippo victorious boxers games they are tight AF

I’ve heard other UA-camrs making the same complaint about Ali. Hitting him with consecutive clean shots, and even power shots that seem to have little to no effect… Seems like they might need to simmer down the god mode on Ali a little bit during the next update…

Shit I had one where I was Joe Frazier vs Ali and he was winning the first half of the fight but I turned it around and knocked him down a few times. Was winning but the fight got stopped 7 seconds short of the end of the fight and I lost to a cut haha.

Yes you can. If you press the correct buttons it memorises the sequence. For example off I want the standard step in left double jab, right straight, you can click X X Y fast and the sequence follows the combo you clicked

It certainly has a long way to go, Ali would last 5 with Fury, to big and to good. It has big potential especially a fully featured Carear mode.
The problem is tyson furys speed! Fury is not that fast when he moves around the ring. His hand speed is decent, but he does not move anywhere near the movement speed nor handspeed the ali.. also we cannot say if fury is the best heavyweight of all time because their aren't many good heavyweights left, and the remaining ones don't fight eachother. Fury got extended time to rest from the ref with paused countdowns after being knocked down twice by deontay. ALI FOUGHT DURING THE GOLDEN ERA OF HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING!!! There were not just one or two big fighters during that time. NO. ALI HAD TO BEAT THEM ALL! Something that tyson has yet to prove and never will

This is a sim game so the punches are realistic, fight night wasn’t a sim version of boxing so you have to choose your punches right and know the distance and timing.

From the looks of it; One of the biggest issues is that every video , it looks like arcade boxing. No distance , every fight is body to body. Even the cpu only copies the boxing stance, not the boxing style. Fury going full round body to body with someone half his lenght. Not using the jabs to keep distance. Soms punches still look very weird animated.. and Canello beard looks afwull.
Fury beats Deontay Wilder by using weight and size and now he could have beaten all heavyweights in history ? Got to disagree with you brother. A young Lennox Lewis would have beaten him and so would a young Foreman. Foreman was more technically sound than Wilder (who put Fury on the canvas multiple times ). Foreman would have taken Fury out...Power in both hands and stronger than Wilder. I also believe Ali would have boxed circles around Fury. Fury is too slow. Ali had more hand speed and faster feet. He'd win on points. I think Vitali in his prime gives Fury problems. He just about beat Lewis, but got stopped due to his eyebrow being ripped open by Lennox. I don't think Fury's size alone saves him from the best in history, but that's just my opinion bro. I could be wrong. I respect your opinion too brother.

Game definitely needs an update. Good foundation, but right now it's flat out not rewarding you for clean hits that should be really damaging to the opponents. First round you should've knocked that player out with how well you did.

Fact is we will never know, fury has dominated a very poor era. Wilder and Joshua are not even close to making the top 30 heavyweights of all time, Usyk is class but he lacks the weight and power to be a great heavy. A prime lennox lewis takes it for me, but Ali and even smokin joe run him close.
In the older era's Usyk would have never lost. He's not too small, he's the exact height as Muhammad Ali with the same exact arm length.
