Important to find a balance also. Make sure you also find time to be kind to yourself as otherwise the rest of it is pointless. Don’t work away if you don’t feel the benefits of it. By all means, strive for a purpose but don’t get sucked into the mentality that you have to work tirelessly your whole life - it depends how steep your ambitions are but it is a mentality that I have seen wreck a lot of people.

Kamaru's humility in this is what really impressed me. Coming out and admitting a guy who is a fair amount smaller than you dropped you in sparring is a massive thing and is awesome to hear from a UFC champ like him...

I have recently been interested in ufc and seeing Usman fighting is something special by itself but to see Geordie who I’ve been watching for a pretty long time talking about Newcastle United and the passion he has and the Boxing events and the kick off and now having these great opportunities with great people and be able to get the emotions out of Usman was incredible and I’m so glad that he has Gymshark behind him so he can continue this journey. I was so sad to see Khabib leave and I thought that was it for any Muslim guy to be able to compete against what he had done for the sport but Kamaru is a breath of fresh air. Usman I’m 36 my dad died when I was 21 he never told me he loved me lol. My mum said she loved me for the first time last year. I think it’s a Nigerian thing lol. Parents think it’s a sign of weakness when they say those things.
I think they tend to show through their actions, as in the sacrifices they make to take care of you. In a way its so obvious it doesn't even need to be said...

Kamaru Usman is the best fighter in the world at the moment! Truly amazing! The way he has evolved from a wrestler into a knockout fighter is beautiful to watch. I'm a fan now! Wasn't at the beginning but know enjoy watching his fights! He always speaks so well and is humble too, I would love to see him break records and continue to dominate. I really loved this. I watch every UFC event, have done for over a decade but listening to Usmans story really resonated with me. I really hope he beats Colby again and gets the recognition that he deserves. The way he cuddles his daughter in the octagon after a win is such an amazing sight. What a human, so humbling to hear about his upbringing and rise to success.
I've been watching Kamaru since his debut , and damn , I'm really proud of where he has come now. This was a great podcast. Only blemish was saying that Colby beats prime GSP. GSP has the highest fight IQ , smartest training regimen and insane mindset. Greatest jab in the sport , ragdolls elite wrestlers. I have been watching MMA since I was 8 , and he is the greatest the sport has ever seen , period. GSP would be Kamaru's greatest ever challenge , and I wouldn't put it past either of them to beat the other.

Usman I’m 36 my dad died when I was 21 he never told me he loved me lol. My mum said she loved me for the first time last year. I think it’s a Nigerian thing lol. Parents think it’s a sign of weakness when they say those things.
I think they tend to show through their actions, as in the sacrifices they make to take care of you. In a way its so obvious it doesn't even need to be said...

Kamaru Usman is the best fighter in the world at the moment! Truly amazing! The way he has evolved from a wrestler into a knockout fighter is beautiful to watch. I'm a fan now! Wasn't at the beginning but know enjoy watching his fights! He always speaks so well and is humble too, I would love to see him break records and continue to dominate. I really loved this. I watch every UFC event, have done for over a decade but listening to Usmans story really resonated with me. I really hope he beats Colby again and gets the recognition that he deserves. The way he cuddles his daughter in the octagon after a win is such an amazing sight. What a human, so humbling to hear about his upbringing and rise to success.

I've been watching Kamaru since his debut , and damn , I'm really proud of where he has come now. This was a great podcast. Only blemish was saying that Colby beats prime GSP. GSP has the highest fight IQ , smartest training regimen and insane mindset. Greatest jab in the sport , ragdolls elite wrestlers. I have been watching MMA since I was 8 , and he is the greatest the sport has ever seen , period. GSP would be Kamaru's greatest ever challenge , and I wouldn't put it past either of them to beat the other.
So much more respect for Usman was already a fan but I loved this interview much appreciated.
