At 13 I discovered my Dad was a transvestite......I asked my Mum about it and she said, that was him and she asked him that she not be part of it. He was happy with that and they had a solid marriage for 40 years until his death. He was a perfect father to my siblings and I, and we never had any realisation in our lives of him being anything but the ideal Dad, and I never thought of him in any other way. To this day only my twin brother and I know about this, and our 2 younger brothers and sister have no idea about him which will always be kept from them. Why would I shatter their vision of their perfect father when that is what he was and his personal likes never had an impact on us.

Same sometimes , depends on what I’m doing . If I’m doing dishes or cleaning , laundry or whatever or playing a game and it’s on kind of in the background , I mean I’m watching but I’m also doing something else then I like this . If I was just watching and that was it I don’t so much care for the lengthy-ness

She would have been way better to promise not to ever say anything if they could part amicably and that she would sign a document accordingly. Planning to expose this sort of thing, especially if it can cost soneone their kids and whole life, can and does go disastrously wrong. It was a daft thing to do.

As the narrator is discussing Joe's confession to strangling his wife - around the 24 minute mark - the vision underneath is a close-up of a man washing copious blood off his hands and you can also see lashings of gore round the sink. Pretty unusual for a strangulation. It flagged pretty early that Joe's initial story is bogus.

I think the acceptance of the lgbtq community has helped a lot to prevent some situations. Assuming Joe was in a relationship that fulfilled the part of him that he needed to keep secret, Dianne's life would have probably been spared? Society has evolved in this day and age, and that has helped a lot with alleviating personality disorders that stemmed from fear of judgement.

Also if she found out about it she should have done something like leave or better yet... to the man she claimed to love, try to understand and accept him.
