@Brooke L. You can have a partner, but it is not their job to provide you with love and happiness until you find it yourself. Unconditional love for the self first wards off all low level energies like, cheating, jealousy, suspicion, anger, hate, fear, divorce etc.......with self love, you can walk thru the valley of death and fear no evil.

A lot of narcissists get married and have children to appear normal. Lawyers (like politician's) are expected to be married and have a family.
The guy was an evil, using, pos husband and father desperate to keep up his phony image.

In 1995, $12,500 will be worth about $23,000 in 2020. So $25,000 in 1995 will be $46,000 today. $46,000 is still quite some money for a lawyer who is working as an employee in a firm. Dont forget he also has 2kids, and a wife to take care of plus Bills.

When a marriage is abusive, it's doubtful that the abuser - whether it's the husband or the wife - is willing to listen enough or make the essential changes. It is common knowledge that the most dangerous time for abuse victims is at the time when they decide to leave the marriage/relationship. Because that's when the abuser knows they don't have control anymore, and they can't stand it. It sends them into a rage. Abuse victims need to leave stealthily. This can take weeks, if not months, to plan.

So much precious time lost! What an amateur investigation into the disappeared young woman! First assume that she is traveling. She notifies anyone and leaves her children just like that. The police do not search but believe that just like that. After this time they assume that she has passed it off with a friend. When this was investigated in vain .... only then do her parents talk about the actual son-in-law. Even then they don't bother to look for her and put that coward seriously on the roster. After years he got so tired of her parents 'perseverance that he wanted them killed. He must have been so fed up with investigators' interrogations that he told them the truth. But they just believed him while everyone knows that the husband is ALWAYS must be the first suspect in such a disappearance. His father is also a big coward .

I believe would have it been the other way around. He would have just left her and the children, just would have walked out.
She shouldn't have died in such horrible and gruesome way, used, betrayed and murdered.
    He truly deserved it!!

Life can be unpredictable even in sad ways sometimes. I also don't understand why people can't leave toxic relationships behind yet it happens. I would move to Tibet if I had to for a peaceful mindset .. I don't know where this people get that courage to keep going on and on regardless the odds being against them .. Life is a bit scary .. YOu are all going into relationships with the wrong ideas and its causing you harm. The key is to LOVE youselves first, THEN go into a relationship with unconditional love. YOU have your own journey to complete in this life time and other people have theirs, including men. So get on with it.

I don't get it. He could have set aside $1K a month into a separate new account. In 13 months he would have had the money to pay the paralegal. And it sounds like they were so well off she might not have noticed a random $1K missing here and there. Or even $500 in 24 months would have worked, because by the time he killed wife, it was 5 years after the incident. Strange

He's a southpaw also there is no correct way, its what suits the hand holding the pen. I was made to use my right hand & hold my pen different to most. My GP pointed out that I hold my pen same as him & we have much more control & very nice handwriting so.... There are no set rules for holding pens & cutlery etc
