Yeah, I honestly just don’t find Steve sets fun to watch. Gluttony put it nicely, in that Steve is just playing a different game.

The fact that acola has a secondary (AND THAT SECONDARY IS ALSO A TOP TIER💀) but we almost NEVER get to see it just goes to show how broken Steve is. Didn't deserve that win at all.
I don’t remember the last time I saw his Kazuya, Aegis, DK or Luigi. Really goes to show that Steve really has it all :

@@yazan_q Brawl MK was broken but without him even more annoying characters became busted, Brawl was just a completely unbalanced game. If you ask any brawl pros they would say banning MK was worse than having him unbanned.
For Bayo she was broken but she didn’t fundamentally play a different game like Steve does.
Steve creates terrain which can wall off opponents, enhance recovery, and extend combos to the point of absurdity. His minecart has 2 large hit boxes, has incredible super armor, and also works as a command grab. Steve is broken with his normal attacks and also fundamentally broken as he doesn’t play the same game
@Owl Brawl actually would have been pretty good if no one used Meta Knight. The entire stage list was decided based on what stages MK didn't ruin the game on, and he still ruined it. He literally had his own tier. He was unironically SSS tier. The only reason it seems some characters would be broken is because they either did well against MK or benefitted from the stage list. The reason he wasn't banned was because if he was, viewership would be down because all of the best players from around the world wouldn't have attended. As for Bayo, the last Sm4sh EVO was literally a ditto. She could kill you at almost any percent off of almost any move, had basically no lag on anything, had the best recovery, and could kill you for simply trying to hit her the one time you actually swing back. Steve is nowhere near that level yet, and unlike Brawl MK or Sm4sh Bayo, he has some recognizable weaknesses. Steve still has to have a gameplan. That's the thing. MK and Bayo virtually didn't need one to win because they were THAT good.
