Hey yoyomax12! Firstly, I adore your channel! Secondly, I agree with you. Having to turn on the oven every time to bake takes more time and is more cleanup. This steaming way is much easier :)

    Hi Ochikeron!
I love your videos and your recipes! :)
I have two questions for you about this recipe:
    1) What do you mean with cooking oil? Is it okay if I use olive oil or it's better if I use the sunflower seeds oil or something lighter than the olive one?
    2) Woult it be okay if I use an ordinary pumpkin? I live in Italy and I'm not sure we have Kabocha here... Anyway, I'm pretty sure that it would be good with fruit too, don't you think?
    Grazie e tanti auguri!
    Ciao! ^.^

Kabocha is a type of pumpkin, so I think regular pumpkin would work just fine! Any kind of sweet squash you can get your hands on should work well. Or even sweet potato!

Since this version is more cake-y is it possible to remove the kabucha all together? I'd love to make some with raisins like in an anime I saw called "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day". ^w^ I love your videos by the way!!!!! I plan on making some of these recipes very soon. Also, could you do some more side dishes for bentos?? I need one with leeks as a main ingredient for a Miku bento.

Giulia V raw Kabocha will be cooked after 15 minutes. but of course it depends on the heat (how low) you steam, so just taste one and if you think you need to cook more, just cook more minutes!
