Yes you can, but you have to keep in mind that different produces reacts differently with other ingredients so you have to tweak the recipe a bit to get the right consistency. It's all trial and error really...

I made this last night and it turned out SO good. I used a mini pumpkin I got on Halloween and replaced the vanilla with clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg (don't worry, if you don't have plastic wrap, wet paper towels work good) , It tasted just like pumpkin pie! :) Thank you for the recipe, I cant wait to try more of them! :D

When adding the warm milk to the eggs, you should only add a little the first time. This brings the temperature of the eggs so the don't cook when you add in the rest of the milk. Then strain when you pour into the mold, just in case there are any bits of cooked egg

    Hello! I have two questions.
    1) the cake pan you used is a glass cake pan, is it actually a cake pan or is it a container sort but you removed the lid? If it's a cake pan I'm wondering where you got it as it looks similar to the pound cake pan u used before :)
    2) Since I'm in Australia I don't think I can get Kabocha but could I use normal pumpkin as a substitute? Also what if I just want to make normal pudding without pumpkin whatsoever but in the cake pan, would it work?
    Love your videos ❤️

Wah this looks yummy! I just made the normal custard pudding yesterday!
Can I request that you make kabocha cheesecake in the whole kabocha ? ( the filling is scrapped out and used to make cheesecake, the batter is then filled right back into the kabocha and baked into the oven ) I saw it on cookpad but I can't get the measurements right because I tried it with different ingredients from the original recipe (opps)
