Scroll of Isildur is a really cool card to add to any precon of choice (but the Hobbit one) if you want a card that can temporally steal artifacts and do other fun things in the meantime!
@@ChronoMoogle if we do add it to a deck (my roommate has the final sat of which deck it goes in. His decks after all) I'll advocate for that one, as that is really clever and flavorful. Thanks for all your suggestions, including the second video!
@@Just.Westin You are welcome! Hope you guys have a blast playing these! Small note on the cuts I wanted to give: I’d advocate against cutting the Troll in Saurons Deck - this precon needs reliable land drops a lot and putting the troll in your graveyard by cycling has great synergy with the commander.
Cutting blasphemous act is intresting choice as i suspect its one one the original win cons for the deck as it wipe the board aside from the massive orc army.
I did not think of that! I cut blasphemous because the deck had 3 board wipes, and with the table full of new players too many board wipes cause slow games to be 3 times longer. Maybe I'll add it back in to replace a different one. (There are still wipes in every deck. I did not remove all of them) ((Also this is just my opinion))
@@Just.Westin Fair enough, the other minor advantage of blasphemous is that its a very cheap way to trigger the expenive spell cast trigger (i think you said it was a big spells deck). As it still count as a 9 mana spell or what ever its mana cost is even when discounted due to the extra creatures in play. Final interaction for blasphemous is any creatures that deal damage to opponents when they take damage as thats 13 damage to someone. Yeh cutting all the board wipes would likely make for a more enjoyable casual commander experience, no one likes their cool board of stuff getting blown up, and with no over powered decks the board wiping might not be neccesary.
@@XenithShadow very good insight! I'll probably switch blasphemous act for living death or languish. The other wipe is Decree of Pain. All 4 wipes have positives and negatives compared with each other. I now think languish is the worst one. I don't remember if I said in the video, I'm not a perfect player. I don't make amazing decks. So I was bound to make decisions that aren't great. Sometimes my rationalizing would come to poor choices. Thank you for your advice!

Sauron should get the one ring for he was the one who crafted it and if the sauron deck has saruman the white hand it willl trigger his ability where you amass when you cast a noncreatures spell based on its mana value
@@XenithShadow while that is very good, these decks will primarily be played against each other. And in all of the decks there are 3 counterspell effects in total. I removed one of them from the sauron deck, which leaves 2 in the Galadriel deck. The main reason I took out Delighted Halfling was it wasn't in the deck in the first place. (You can check the original deck list online) I had it in because I could not find Anguished Unmaking, and in this video took it out for the reasons listed previously and because it isn't in the OG deck. @@Just.Westin oh yeah to each their own for sure. Great video I've maxed out my Hobbit deck. I'm also using Merry and Pippin as my commanders. Foods that end up tapping for almost anything.

That was a delight to watch, thanks! I think Frodos Deck should get the One Ring, because Sauron’s Deck has ways to steal it!

Great video just Westin! I would give the one ring to Frodo, as it was a gift from his uncle.

cutting delighted halfling :')
liking the videos though!
