Remember once you use henna you can't use chemilac hair dye. You will get green colour. You will have to let them grow back . I have that issue
It will only go green if it contains indigo. If it's pure 100% henna it's fine.
Does it make that effect with dark hair ? I have dark hair and I want that kind of color (of the final results ) , will it work ?

Aaaaarrhh !!!! I want it !! It looks so good. I died my hair with henna probably like 25 years ago. I think it was the first thing I ever tried. And I am just obsessed with red hair, but I just haven't done it in so long. But that's about to change

I'm almost positive the bit you see at the end is NOT the real result. I think that's from when she dyed her hair red (like some while ago). Her videos right after this with the actual henna on her hair are MUCH darker. Which makes sense because henna doesn't lighten. My natural hair color is a tad lighter than hers and I've used henna (different brands & colors) & I've never even gotten close to a result like that ...
Her videos are probably indoors, where as this is direct daylight. Artificial light darkens the hair in video A LOT

I think you and I have the same sort of medium to dark brown hair, and the orange result is awesome, I didn't know it could look so vibrant and stain so well the root color without involving bleach

Lemon releases the dye so the colour becomes darker

Just wondering what is your natural color cause mine medium to dark brown and I just used red henna for first on my hair color shows only in light it’s not at alll like yours ..
It might take a few applications. Since I've been doing it for years, I just keep layering it over and over essentially.

Sorry, I don't usually measure it, I just mix until it's the consistency I like, like a brownie batter almost.

How frequent to you colour your hair , once a month or once a week ???
I usually only did it every 3 months or so.
How come you didn’t add beetroot to get the red colour? I wanted a light red but mine turn out dark burgundy colour but I have to wash it with shampoo in a few days to see the true colour. You only added hot water. It doesn’t make sense. 😳
I just did my on the Auburn. But it turned out so dark? I wanted more of dark red. Should I try to remove the henna? Or should I just apply another color on top? I was thinking about doing the red on you just used
Hello, I haven’t tried henna myself yet but I’ve done some research and it’s not like regular dye henna it’s more like a layer that build up in your hair so I think putting the other shade on top would do fine. Hope this helps
Natural Henna doesn't dye or lightens, it stains your hair, so it only adds color, so if you had auburn and you added henna it's normal that its dark, but if you go under sunlights I think we could see some red highlights
Best thing to do next time is to gather samples of your hair (after a hair cut) and do some tests with the henna; depending on the liquid you use with henna (lemon juice, coffee, tea, beetroot juice) it has different results as well as leaving it in for varying time lengths. Do some tests next time to find what suits you.

You should do a test stand on your own hair. There are many color options if you're looking for a darker result.

Permanent. It might fade some but you’re stuck with it til u cut it off

Henna only coats your hair, it will not lighten it.

Keep using it twice a month. Dont overdo it. Im sure ur hair colour has changed. Whn u go out in the sun or light it will show clearly

Light Mountain has a red and a bright red. Buy the bright red and leave it on for a shorter period of time if you prefer more of an orange/ginger red stain. That's what I do. Let the dye release for a few hours and then leave the henna on for about an hour. Its enough. The longer you leave the henna in, the darker red the stain will be.
@@carrie8541 I have medium brown hair and I leave the Red color on for 4 hours. If I left it on for less, would the color be less dark and more bright red? I’m wishing the color was brighter red on me. It comes out darker than I want.
@@carrie8541 I let my bright red cure for almost 5 hours and I have medium/dark brown hair with copper highlights, I feel like I should leave it on longer . Do you have any photos of your results?
