Well the garnet can be used for rock tumbling, and in some case I've seen it recycled into sandpaper, the garnet is expensive so they do recycle it but it degrades each time it get used.
Two questions. do/can you reuse the Garnet from the tank? Do you reclaim or recycle the metal verticals from the tank with a magnet or something like that? Great channel, keep it up please!
I think gold can be cut, if not, easily scored with simple kitchen knife with little to no damage to the knife. I’m guessing like the person above said, it had to do with running the machine, and that’s probably in terms of how much garnet they’re using. If it’s a pure water cut, it’s probably extremely cheap. Also, Cody made sure he got back every gold flake back through a somewhat through process lol

Can I just give a hot tip for you guys and/or for Craig: The circles you're cutting are wasting *a lot* of material that you're probably not getting any profit from. Use a more efficient circle packing method. Hexagonal packing is the most efficient as far as I know. That'll get you the most circles out of your steel as possible. Hexagonal packing: Each circle is bordered by exactly 6 more circles of equal radius, rather than 4 in the square packing that you're using.

At a previous job, we would call in a truck used for pumping sewers out and they would suck all the mud out with that. Only minor shoveling to get the corners cleared out.
The penna of the ear aids in directional hearing making it possible to judge the direction of sounds as they enter the ear. It allows you to find the source of a sound. Smarter every day did a great video on this.
I remember having to clean a dunk tank we used to find holes in Transport tires, that water smelled so bad and the the sludge in the bottom, so I can imagine this one smells just heavenly

The ear lobe is used for directional hearing, put blue tac in your ear lobes so that they are flat and you will lose all directional hearing. Try it it's quite strange and fun
The emery you pulled out of the tank: does that go off to get recycled, or is it simply dumped as fill? I'd imagine the impurities in it would make it fairly hard to get pure emery grit back out of it....
What do you do with all the left over garnet sludge. I'd imagine you sell it off to be filtered so you can use all the abrasives again or is it not worth it and you just dump it as dirt.
Hey what kind of pump is on the water jet? I don't see a normal centrifugal making that kind of pressure. I'm assuming its a multistage positive displacement pump with a minimum flow line built in to protect it? What is the most exotic metal you've cut? In normal operation and on the channel? Have you ever cut monel? If so how'd it compare to regular carbon steel? Lastly, if all the circles you guys cut are carbon steel your customers may be using them for blinds in the oil field, especially if they're ever figure 8s with one side solid. How thick are they?

That's sand blasting, and it would take quite a while and wouldn't be accurate
