Driving into LA you may literally be staggered by the dark energy. Luxury cars passing by whole blocks of homeless drug addicts. It’s a disgraceful mess. But that’s just my opinion there is undoubtedly lots of cool stuff and neighborhoods
This applies to all cities on the west coast, maybe except #3 (massive size). All other west coast cities also have a high cost of living, bad traffic, impacts of homelessness, and a competitive job market.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I lived there until I was 23. I moved to St. Louis in 1988, and it was the best decision I ever made. There's no way I would EVER live in LA again.
@@MovieJustin I've done well here in St. Louis. The cost of living is far lower. My rent is only $600 a month. The traffic here is not nearly as bad, and I can always find a parking space wherever I go. Every time I go to Los Angeles to visit, I'm always glad I left 36 years ago.
I love Los Angeles. It’s a great place to hang, but I prefer the Inland Empire, because I’m a suburban person as far as living. When I want a moment of fast life, I’ll head to LA. When I just want to enjoy the quiet and a calm environment, I spend my time in the Inland Empire.
Less homeless in the valley (south valley) compared to westside or the middle of the city, however I've been out for a year now, so not sure if it is still the same.
I'm from Houston and I'm planning on moving to LA after I graduate college. I've never been as excited for anything in my entire life. I hate texas soooo much. I can't wait to never step foot in texas ever again.
Never have, never will. If only the people of LA would stay in LA instead of sprawling out to neighboring states like cockroaches and infesting those too
Been here since 2002, & I loved it! But post bs pandemic, it has not been fun for over 2 years now, absolute shi* show now, so sucks, Stay Away!!!! You have been warned~~~----------.

At the end of the day everyone is responsible for their own being. Yes, life is not fair but capitalism doesn't care. Sink or swim brother
Welcome to America. This is not just an LA thing

You said that Inland empire and south central area cheaper. All well and good but these areas are also a complete dumps!
Ain’t way the California traffic does the same thing like New York 💀 and ppl be loud in New York when they call ur name in streets
It doesn’t but LA it’ WAY bigger than New York and it’s almost same traffic , so with this being said , LA traffic can be worse than New York .
Los Angeles is filthy and rundown in a lot areas. There are no affordable homes and the cost of living is high.
