- I rode the DYU C1 City Electric Bike and I was totally blown away with its performance. With an average speed of 25 km - 15.5 mph & a max range of 65km in assist mode this Bike is a game changer. It has a lithium ion battery and a motor rated power of 350 watts. Also front and back disc brakes.
Ajustable wide seat for extra comfort. front and rear mud guards. front light, and front suspension. Also removable battery that can be charged on, or off the bike. Using the thumbwheel throttle is safer than a rotary throttle. it is also equipped with Shimano seven speed transmission.
All in All, what a fantastic bike to own and ride. its 5 stars all the way from myself.

I don't understand why these companies get folk who know nowt about bikes to test, but I do like that you mention the light is good for riding in the. dark.
Great video geoff, but just be aware that this bike is illegal on uk roads as 250 watt is the max power you should have unless off road on private land with the land owners permission, also throttle is illegal aswel. I know silly laws that need looking at ! happy cycling.
Yes silly laws.
250w does not get you up the hills.
As for the throttle I think it saves many an accident, stops you wobbling along changing gears on start up.
I doubt they will change, as made by people who have never cycled as an adult.

Mine is a godsend travelling to town, park outside the shops.
I use a motorbike chain and padlock to secure to lamp posts.
Even the pub, is great, not too many as I get wobbly 😊😊.

Some of those bikes have a tendency to explode and catch fire when being charged.... So charge in a location that can not have damage caused by an explosion while being charged

Great review Geoff, I would consider an Electruic Bike if we got out cycling more and we had the weather for it, saying that when we move to Blackpool and we have all the promenade to explore, this will be a must. Also, I bet this bike with the assisted pedal and all terain wouuld be an ideal bike for the transpennine trail. Nice to see you enoying this!
Yes the trail is literally 15 mins from my house. Perfect for a trip to Lymm village and Altringham . 🚲🚲💨

Very true and i am loving going a lot further into the country side with a bit of help from the electric bike. I still do a lot of peddling to keep fit, but it helps a lot when you get to those hills 🤭👍

Good video Geoff, be careful where you park it, mine was stolen last year😢 very similar bike to yours, had a really strong chain lock on it. The thieving Bas*ards used an 18volt grinder to cut through the chain. Goodbye to $3800 Australian Dollars. 😢😢

Hello Geoff, I’d just like to point out that your front Skewer is positioned incorrectly. It should be facing backwards so something like a branch can’t bend it backwards causing it to come loose.

Great looking bike, but a lot times electric bikes that come direct from the company can be very difficult to get any parts , and many of your local bikes shops will not repair or work on them, they do not have any parts and have to wait for them to be shipped over, the same with people who buy electric bites from Amazon very difficult to get parts when same thing goes wrong. I love cycling have a specialised X4.0 back in Thailand .

I have 5 bikes ,, 3 here in Wales 🏴 and 2 in My house in Spain 🇪🇸 love cycling the countryside in both places 🚴♂️…Chang Mai in north Thailand 🇹🇭 has brilliant excursions for cyclists and as you know a absolutely fantastic countryside. I cycled from Sigon to Hanoi in a 20 strong group in 2019 Another wonderful country Vietnam 🇻🇳…well done Geoff ,, make sure you get lights on the back and some panniers for your Gear 👍🙏👍🙏😀

Not at all for what you get, and for what you save on petrol and diesel. Great milage range and gets you out and about in the countryside. All in all, money well spent. 👍👍👍
Cost about the same as a ticket to Thailand just under £1000. back in Thailand I have a specialised x4.0 love cycling but under my own speed.

I hate E bikes. If you want exercise, get actual real exercise!!! E bikes are a loophole, AKA- a workarounds for not following laws. Total BS. Anyway, enjoy it as it is because it is legal. If I had my way, it wouldn't be.
I have had a full hip replacement operation and can not cycle the same as I could. This e bike helps me to get out and about where I could not get to on a normal bike. Don’t be so quick to judge before you know the facts
I'm 71 and i wouldn't be back riding if not for my E bike , if you think you don't get exercise riding an E bike your a WALLY and i'm being kind .
