  • The first combo I did focused on Melee Combos and OTG setups, so now it's time to start integrating spell weaving into the melee combos. Splash seems to be the only real way of doing so at low combo count without getting a Stun or Petrify, but I could be wrong.
Knockdown gives you enough time to cast Splash and then pick the enemy up again with Marche Waltz. Then, you can continue with more melee or start chaining into spells. This knockdown trick can also be done with other spells, but requires a high combo count to cast them quick enough.
Dagger Rhapsody also chains into Splash, surprisingly enough. I'm assuming this requires the Mastery Bonus for Dagger Rhapsody, but I've never tried it without.
    Some things to note:
You'll want Abrupt Cast to move right away after spells, and Chain Spell to get your casts quick enough. Be mindful that going airborne and dashing both seem to reset Chain Spell.
Splash pushes enemies away, which can sometimes cause spells like Freeze Lancer, Divine Streak, and Glacial Core to miss if they get pushed in certain directions. This goes especially so for light enemies.
