One thing to note is that headsets also improve the quality of voice commands. If your headset has a microphone then voice commands are amplified somewhat. The wind and ambient noise is so loud this patch that I had to use cheap IRL headsets without surround sound because it was amplifying the wind so much that it was impossible to hear anything. BSG needs to tone done the wind drastically and keep the high sounding wind for windy weather conditions only. Rain or windy weather should be the only two conditions that affect audio this much. We should be able to enjoy a bright sunny day without feeling like you’re in the middle of a hurricane
What the heck man the M32's have been my go to headsets regardless of what stage of the wipe I'm in I always felt they served me so well, I had no idea they were a little better than the GSSH
Why limit what helmet those headsets can attach to? Those are ARC rail attachments, so anything with an ARC rail should work. Opscore also uses ARC rails, not just TW

It sounded like (before), the other guy was directly in front of me, while he was still 2 floors above me. Totally confusing. As I finally got to him, it took me by surprise. I don't get how people can play like this.

I know it a bit niche... but did you ever put on the TSh-4M-L soft tank crew helmet? It seemed to help with cutting down environmental effects, but wondered how bad it is for everything else 🤔
I kinda want a system in Tarkov that works like tinnitus, where if you fire an unsuppressed gun for too long, you will suffer from tinnitus and this can make your death for a bit, and after a few times you will just go deaf and not hear a thing until you extract, and the headsets offer various degrees of ear protection, in some cases, it can help with gunfire unsuppressed, making tinnitus less likely or not able to happen at all, or allow you to hear people sneaking up on you this would help make the headsets even more critical to choose from if different headsets offer different things
Liberator is very light weight, like the high level headsets. also i feel like they offer more sound dampening, than amplifying. but could be just me. cheers!
Some people just don't get why some headsets are cheaper than others. They are designed that way so that the more expensive they are the better quality you get. The sound design is still wonky for some parts. But they are meant to be bad to a lower and cheaper headset.
No one discusses the gssh's sound intensity, people disregard gssh completely cause other headsets have better noise cancellation and can make further footsteps audible. But when you're running etc. you don't hear those sounds because the sound intensity is very low, if you use gssh the sounds are so intense that you can hear them louder than other headphones, atleast that's what I've noticed personally. So I'll stick with my gsshs
The suppressed shot only being heard from 100 meters is so ridiculous. How can the developers leave it like that? You can hear a suppressed shot from several hundreds of meters away no problem. The only difference is that it’s a bit harder to tell the exact direction of the source.
I think you can control the volume, so you can voice line either yelling or whispering but I don’t remember how… not that it makes much difference really but I do want to go around yelling “cease fire” 🤣
I think you are totally wrong here, the more a head phone reduce ambient noise, the less you'll hear AI talking or bushes etc. Comtac4>sordin>gssh>every other change my mind. And on factory gssh>all. (Also on short map like factory you want less range because sometimes you feel like someone is next to you whilz he is 20 meters away, try tarkov arena lasthero on chopchop, try excell vs gssh for example. You've got it all wrong. Headphones aren't to hear louder they're to quiten background noise. Best to worst: Comtac 4 Excel Sordins Other If you want to make EVERYTHING including background noise louder gssh are the best pic. They are the clearest headset but will make everything amplified including environment sounds. I think you're looking at headsets like they're amplifiers when in actual fact they are noise reducers.
You use headsets to be aware of your surroundings and you pick which one you want based on your budget and sound I use headsets, because i looted them from a dead mofo and i pick (prioritise) the most expensive one to wear and then hoard any i can fit in my (literally) 20 backpacks im carrying to sell (the headset, i dont sell backpacks and i have almost 1000) We are not the same and that also includes helmets

In your audio settings: interface volume controls the loudness of your PMC’s voicelines.
I know I had to turn up my computer master volume and turn down everything else and it’s still not loud enough. No tacs sounds better now

the sound distance nerf is one of the best things to happen in this game. Ratting has become less powerful and people are more incentivized to move.
