Set this up on my computer and it works fantastic! Only question, do you know if there’s a way to adapt and allow this to work on the iPad version as well? I don’t have a MacBook only a desktop, and I wanted to be able to transfer my file Over but it doesn’t work with external midi lanes

Unless I’m missing something (I might be!), I don’t think you can transfer this to iPad as Logic doesn’t run on iPad, only GarageBand

@@DrumElectric they did actually just add logic to iPad very recently, I was able to transfer a basic project over, but just not this version with the external midi output. I can mess with it with GarageBand though and see if it might work on there!
Even if not, your tutorial helped me a ton with setting it up on the computer so thank you so so much for that, super helpful for sure!

I have a problem, I know how to do the Auto-Stop, but when I hit the space bar to play again, it just hits the Auto-Stop again and doesn't keep playing the entire project. How do I fix that? I am also trying to figure out how to add shortcuts to my keyboard for like when I hit the number 1 it goes to a certain marker that I have already created and I use the space bar for Play/Stopping the track. If you could help that would be great! Thanks

Great question! I think the space bar issue will be helped by adding the numbers per song. So you’d hit ‘1’ and then ‘spacebar’ to play the next track. I believe this would be either in ‘keyboard shortcuts’ or the same method for assigning MIDI, but rather than a MIDI note it’d be the number on the keyboard you’d want

I was running into the same issue. I found that if you assign that same MIDI note to both "Stop" and "Go to Next Marker" using the process described here your track will stop, shoot to the next marker on your timeline, and stop right there, ready for you to press play. It doesn't seem like it should, but double assigning the note seems to work... then you can just copy and paste it wherever you like, ensuring that when your song ends the next one gets cued right up!
