TOTALLY AGREE... pond hockey makes the player! Skating and learning to control the puck on uneven ice surfaces... THE BEST! Share a few memories... 1. Shoveling off the snow ❄ each morning to form the rink. 2. Home made goal nets (we even used tree branches!) 😂 3. Playing until your hands froze. 4. Finding a puck that was hit into one of the snow banks. 5. Fixing broken sticks with nails, duck and electrical tape! 😱 Our sticks still hang from the attic rafters at the lake house... tributes to a great game and a great time in our lives!
Hi love your video's. When in April were you there. We flew in from the UK on 27th April. We did 16 day to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Looking forward to watching the next few video's as you have been to places we visited
This is an awesome episode and I cannot wait to see more! Thanks for sharing your experiences. Iceland is now on my list of places I hope to have the opportunity to visit.
@@MathersOnTheMap I know you do and have just started watching it all - you certainly have whetted my appetite to go there and explore as much as possible. Life’s what we make of it, wouldn’t you agree?😉
Great video but you need to work a bit on your Icelandic. Did a good job with Skógafoss :) Glad to see you survived the most dangerous tourist spot in Iceland, The Black Sand Beach. The waves sadly did take yet another life just a month after you were there. Never turn your back on the waves! I will watch the rest of your videos, I predict you will drive through my hometown in a future episode. Greetings from Iceland.
Haha yes we do! Icelandic is not easy though. That’s sad to hear about the blacks and beach. Where is your hometown? We did the ring road and some of the Westfjords so maybe!
A great country to get ticked off the list and a good time of year to go! I was thinking that if you went when it was warm enough, vanlifing it would be the very best way to go, allowing you to cover the entire island without worrying about finding accommodations along the way. Thanks for sharing!
Great video - takes me back to 2016 when we spent 2 weeks there driving the ring road. I'm looking forward to the next installment. Too bad you didn't do snorkeling at Silfra. It was amazing!
Things have changed since I was there!!! There were no stairs to go in back of Seljalandsfoss. Just a path with a rope to grab on to!!! There was also no barrier at all at Gullfoss. You could easily just walk off the edge!!
Dang that’s crazy! The railings looked new because you could see the walking paths of previous travelers behind the rail. I can’t imagine what Iceland was like before Instagram! Probably so untouched
Looks great!! Can't wait to watch this whole Iceland season. We are heading there next May. Can I ask what month or date you guys were there? And how many days was your total trip?
Looks like an amazing trip. April wants to go there next year. We have Hawaii in October and Thailand for Christmas. Next year Spain & hopefully Iceland! :)
Yeah, we’re excited about our upcoming trips. We did end up selling our van. Actually got over asking and sold in 2 days to a couple of Apple Engineers in Silicon Valley. We built it to do some traveling while locked down. Had a blast with it but would like to do more international travel and didn’t want the van to sit being around.
Allergies? My wife and I wondered if the allergens would be pretty low there. Not so much the case? Would love a little feedback on that since we're planning to go there sometime soon.
They were bad at first, but once she took allergy medicine (we had to get it from the local pharmacy) she was good the remainder of the trip. She took the allergy medicine for the first few days and then stopped.
Thanks for providing another great Tuesday evening's entertainment... 👍 Perhaps UA-cam.com should get you two under contract one day... let's say 5 years for 2.5 million 💰 ? 🤔 Iceland looks amazing! Was there much of a language barrier? How difficult was it to obtain provisions and fuel for the van? Noticed the "Old El Paso" for dinner one evening... NICE! Not of fan of Wine? OMG... missing out on one of life's great pairings!!! 🤣 1. Dry red wine 🍷and good cigar! 2. Coffee ☕and doughnuts 🍩! 3. Tequila and Corona! Great vlog... Later BTW... you ask about the location of the family lake house... I grew up in Mountaintop, PA about 15 minutes west of the JFBB ski resorts...
Haha that would be nice! Iceland was amazing I want to go back. I do drink wine but I rather go to a brewery than a winery without a doubt! Sorry about that UA-cam app doesn’t give me notifications on replied comments so easy to miss. That sounds awesome though, I played hockey through college! Pond hockey is the best right?
Love how you film and present straight-up even with little couple interjections. Lol. Likeable
Thank you!!!! We appreciate it 🙌🏻
You know what I love about your videos..how real you two are yawning and blowing nose on video lol love it keep up the great videos.
Thank you! Keepin it real is a goal 100%

Great videos. Love your channel. We just got back from Iceland and did most of the spots you listed. Coolest place I have ever been to! Thank you!
Thank you!!! It really is incredible! Maple leafs fan?? You play hockey?
I feel like this was an episode all about Taylor calling Kevin out on everything. Pure quality entertainment there. :D
Hahaha I agree!

Congrats for the video. Really nice. When did you travel?? Which month?? Thanks
Thanks Noel! We visited late April into early May, we have 5 total videos covering Iceland, only 2 published so far. 3rd comes out Sunday!

Thanks Krista! Enjoy your trip! We went late April early May, I believe it was 9-10 nights in the van
Hey loved your videos. Bdw which month did you vist iceland and what is the best month according to you to see norther lights?
We were there late April early May. For Northern Lights, I think the season is November to late March? Not 100% positive though
Looks like an amazing trip. April wants to go there next year. We have Hawaii in October and Thailand for Christmas. Next year Spain & hopefully Iceland! :)
It was, we got lucky with the weather too! Sounds like you got some banger trips lined up! I think I may have seen you put your van up for sale?!

If the folks of Iceland would utilize the water falls to generate electricity, it would be amazing how inexpensive power would be.
Interesting thought!!
What kind of camera and drone do you use?

Taylor’s yawn was like a “mini crater lake” :) Just sayin’
do you know how many stairs in skogafoss?
We didn’t count but a lot! Skogafoss is almost 200 feet high, so 200?

Amazing trip in South Iceland in the Camper van.super awful.one way to cover the vast expense of Iceland is to have the camper van.
In januar 2020, 2 chinese tourist died walking down sólheimasandur due to cold weather! Did you see any ghosts!!👻👻
Omg that’s so sad!! No, no ghosts were seen!
Get a real life !!!!!!
